Dr. Scott Hager Northpointe Family Dentistry Dr. Scott Hager is a Spokane native. He earned his bachelors of science in biology from Gonzaga University in 2006. He relocated to the Midwest to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE and earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, he brought his education and knowledge back to the Northwest, and in 2010 began working in a private practice setting as an associate in Post Falls. He is excited to bring his experience back to his home state, and looks forward to providing an exceptional dental experience to his patients. Dr. Hager holds dual licensure in both Washington and Idaho, and is a member of both the Washington and Idaho State Dental Associations, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hager enjoys all the possibilities and aspects offered by the field of dentistry, but truly loves advancing his knowledge in more advanced procedures, ranging from extractions to gum tissue regeneration techniques. In his free time, he enjoys exercise, sporting events, and other outdoor recreational activities. He is also a huge Gonzaga fan, and loves watching basketball and mixed martial arts
Dr. Michelle Olmstead Liberty Lake Family Dentistry Dr. Michelle Olmstead is a 1999 graduate of Marquette University Dental School in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to dental school, Dr. Olmstead attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. In November 1999 she opened private practice in Liberty Lake. Dr. Olmstead provides full service general dentistry, and also specializes in cosmetic dental reconstruction and lip augmentation. Skill, compassion and a genuine concern for her patients have earned Dr. Olmstead recognition as a role model in her chosen profession. She is a proud member of the Washington Dental Society, a member of Doctors Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), is trained in Dentox (Botox for Dentistry), and has hospital privileges at Sacred Heart Medical Center to accommodate her patients with dental phobia. Dr. Olmstead and her staff want to inspire in each person a commitment to healthy living, and provide the tools and knowledge to turn intentions into reality
Dr. Jacob Kerst Latah Creek Family Dentistry Dr Jacob Kerst was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School in 1986, before going on to The University of Puget Sound. At UPS Dr Kerst did research in Chemistry and was NAIA Academic All American for Football. Dr Kerst received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After Creighton, Dr Kerst practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in downtown Seattle. Was voted by his colleagues to one of the Top Seattle Dentists, Seattle Magazine, multiple years, and was awarded Best Seattle Dentist four years in a row by the Seattle Weekly. Dr Kerst has also done extensive training at some of the top Aesthetic Dental Centers in the country including the Las Vegas Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr Kerst focuses on functional aesthetic dentistry. That is, dentistry that works lasts but is highly aesthetic. Full mouth reconstruction and anterior porcelain veneer cases are his favorite. Dr Kerst is trained in the treatment of TMD, Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction, with Botox injections Dr Kerst moved back to Spokane to be closer to his family. Dr. Robert R. DesRoches Jr. is a Spokane native and has over twenty years of experience in dentistry. He is a well-respected dentist in the Inland Northwest community and has the expertise and knowledge for all of your dental needs.
Dr. Robert DesRoches was born on an Air Force base in Michigan but was raised locally in Medical Lake, where he attended school K-12. He graduated with a biology degree from EWU in 1992 and then graduated from Northwestern School of Dentistry in Chicago in 1998. Spokane is definitely home but be sure to ask him about Chicagos Italian beef sandwiches and the fireflies in the Midwest.
Dr. DesRoches continues his education with many hours of seminars and lectures, including an extensive program at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI) and participation in the Spokane Study Club. Additionally, Dr. DesRoches is certified in Forensic Odontology and works with the Medical Examiners Office as part of the Eastern Washington Dental ID Team. He is also actively serving in the Army Reserves as a Dental Officer. Dr. DesRoches professional goal is to continue to offer state-of-the-art dentistry to provide optimal aesthetic and reconstructive care for his patients. When Dr. DesRoches is not busy providing excellent dental care, he is spending time with his family, camping, fly fishing, and being an active coach in a variety of sports for his children.

I called to see if they can get me in due to a tooth emergency. She advised that they can get me in. She asked if I had insurance, I mentioned that I have state (which they don't take) and she immediately said that they can't see me. I said I can be self-pay no problem, and the receptionist kept saying that it doesn't matter and that they can't see me. It's ridiculous. Then she advised that from now on whenever I call somewhere to schedule a dental appt, to LIE about having insurance. Wow. I have no words. Save your breath and go elsewhere, I'm shocked how un-accommodating they are .

I was reading reviews between a couple different dental offices and so glad I picked this one! The hygienist is very sweet and makes you feel comfortable while cleaning your teeth and the dentist also makes you feel comfortable with no pain. I usually have anxiety at the dentist but they made me feel very relaxed! Would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

Just had a cleaning and fillings done. This office is wonderful. Easily one of the best dentists that I have interacted with. Will continue to go and would recommend! *Update* Still coming here 7 years later and my opinion remains the same. If you are looking for not only a good dentist, but good hygienist, office, etc. you should check this place out. Still top notch stuff.

After moving to Spokane I have been looking for a dentist that isn't so far from home. I came here and they are excellent! Super professional and kind, willing to answer all your questions and concerns and they are lighthearted and make the visit light and humorous when they can! I'll be back again! Super happy with their service. :)

I visited this dental office due to my permanent retainer wire snapping and cutting me. The staff was nice and the were able to get me in quickly, however i feel like I threw away $60 as the "repair" they did didn't even last 24 hours. Definitely not worth it.

I absolutely love Dr. Hager and his wonderful staff. They fit you in at the drop of a dime and make the scariest of anxieties calm with their amazing bed side manor and ability to empathize with their patients. I just became a legal adult so that meant I was able to get my own health and dental insurance, but I had no idea where to start. I had to find a new dentist! After searching Google i stumbled upon Northpointe. They had great reviews so I gave them a call. They gave me all the information I needed in order to get my checkup. They made the process so easily, especially for someone with no knowledge of having their own dentist. They were able to give me information, set an appointment, and get my teeth cleaned hassle free. All of these aspects are great, and I'm not even mentioning how friendly their staff is. I was easily able to sit down and talk with one of their dental hygienist, and not just about my teeth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist!
