Dental care begins and ends with patient comfort. Dr. Kevin Nguyen takes that philosophy seriously as well as his responsibility to stay current on the latest advances in dental treatment and technology.
Dr. Nguyen obtained his Doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX and continued his education through several post-graduate courses in various studies. In addition to being an accomplished practitioner of general dentistry, Dr. Nguyen has experience in fields ranging from cosmetic dentistry to sleep apnea. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the American General Dental Association.
Since each patient is different, Dr. Nguyen insists on starting each examination by listening to his patient, making sure to connect with them and understanding their dental concerns. Dr. Nguyen educates his patients on their specific diagnosis and discusses potential treatment options. Because patient knowledge is so important, Dr. Nguyen wants to ensure that the best treatment option is available.
The same respect that Dr. Nguyen shows to his patients is also given by the entire staff. Each team member will treat you with professionalism and will draw upon years of experience in dentistry. We had a very pleasant experience with the Doctor and the staff at Northlake Dentistry. Very professional staff took time to explain what needs to be done and provided valuable advice. I highly recommend Northlake Dentistry for kids and adults.

Visiting from out of town but was in desperate need of a cleaning, Northlake Dentistry was great! Britany my hygienist was awesome and went the extra mile to ensure I got the needed attention. I appreciate their transparency and hospitality. Would definitely recommend their practice!

This was the most comfortable I've ever been while getting dental work done. I had a massage chair relaxing me and Netflix playing on the ceiling. That alone was worth coming back for but they also have awesome dr's and staff. Dr. Song was so nice and did an amazing job along with the assistants. I cannot recommend them enough!

This dentist office offers an incredible experience! The front desk staff was welcoming the moment I stepped in the door and as I checked out at the end of my appointment. Cesia was efficient and gentle with my X-rays. Denise expertly and thoroughly cleaned my teeth while explaining each step - and I had a lot to clean because it was a few years since my last dental appointment at a different dentist! Dr. Whinery was friendly, professional and took a concern to the next level by dealing with it immediately and referring me to a specialist as needed. I feel my dental needs will always be addressed at this office and highly recommend it.

I do not leave reviews often but when credit is due, it is due. Customer service at the front desk was great the two times I have been in the office. The office smells great and is very clean. Sonila was my dental hygienist and she was fabulous. Very thorough job and she had a gentle hand. This office stands out to me because after 15 years of having my braces off, Sonila noticed I still had glue from them on a couple of my teeth and she worked with Dr Whinery (who has a great bed side manner) to get it off. Also, just to note, my fear of dentists. Having my teeth worked on is not my favorite thing but I felt at ease and comfortable at Northlake Dentistry today. Highly recommend this office and their staff!

I had my front teeth crowns replaced this month. I was so nervous! The staff was so gentle and cared about me being comfortable through the entire process. My temporary teeth were beautiful which made the wait for my permanents to arrive easy! Yesterday my permanents were placed and I am so happy! My smile is beautiful again! It's even more beautiful than it was! My teeth looks so straight and the color matches perfectly! Dr. Winery was so wonderful and encouraging with her staff the entire way through! They all cared about me and that I was happy! From the front staff, to the assistants to the Doctor, I am so happy to call Northlake Dentistry my families dental group! Thank You!!!

Dr. Catherine Whinery is the best. She has been my dentist for years. She is gentle and does great work. The staff is great. They are very caring and professional. They will help and answer any questions without issue. My dental care is in the best hands at Northlake Dentistry.

Always great care and great people to deal with and the massage chair was sitting in was a very nice bonus. Had another great appointment taking care of a older 2 older crowns that needed replacement very grateful that they resolved this for me

Great experience at Northlake Dentistry! Very clean office space - everyone took great COVID precautions. The dentist and hygienist were both amazing - very thorough cleaning and explanation. Everyone was so kind. Great dentist for everyone in the new Northlake neighborhoods! :) Update: came back for my second visit and it was just as great as the first! Friendly staff, saw COVID precautions, and thorough cleaning. Another update: brought my 18 month old in for a visit and he had so much fun! The entire staff were very kind and made him feel so comfortable. They helped lay the foundation for him to feel safe at the dentist. Thank you!!

As with every service industry, the staff make the biggest impact and difference in the customer experience, though Northlake Dentistry seems to have cornered the market on the top talent with the best culture I've ever experienced in any of the medical/dental offices I've been to in my life. That's enough for a 5-star review from me, though I will also point out how state-of-the-art the office facilities and equipment are and how confident I am that this will be my dentist for life and the only one I heartily recommend to anyone within driving distance!
