Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I was a new patient needing a good bit of dental work done. The Manager Michele was a breath of fresh air in a medical office. Very pleasant and actually helpful! She walked me through some financing options, and I settled on an option that allowed me to schedule all the work I needed. Danyelle, the Assistant, was a rock star! She got everything prepped for Dr. Karmarkar, who installed my new bridge. Dr. K is the best dentist I've had. Thanks for my new smile! :-)

The dentist is never a fun visit(when you get older) but the staff at Northglenn Smiles makes the visit not a dreaded one. Ashley(hygiene) has great stories and keeps you from just staring at the Fluorescent light and that no so centered water sprinkler. Josh( healthcare coordinator) will remember your name, making it much more personable when you check-in. Nichole (Manager) will also remember you by your name and greets you right. I can e a talker and find myself talking her ear off and never felt that I was trying to be rushed out the door. All the staff there is very friendly and professional and would recommend for anyone to go there! Yes I know it's the dentist, but they make it not bad at all, to where even my 6 year old wants to go the dentist!

Called to see if I could get in for tooth extraction it had broken and the nerve was exposed so very painful. They stated I could get in that day. I was a previous patient I get there they take two x-rays and agreed the tooth couldn't be saved put me in a room and I waited after seeing dentist for a quick consult for a quote. After over an hour they say they can't get a response from the insurance. I said just pull the tooth we can deal with that later. Then they tell me they can't do it today they are too busy. So I said I would have it done elsewhere that day if I could. Now I get a bill for 4 x-rays a exam. One of the x-rays they claim they did is a panoramic. Well I only had two x-rays and neither was the panoramic. The are crook. Most likely insurance fraud thinking most people don't know what each item is they are billing for but we will see what they do. Unfortunately the amount isn't high enough for a major insurance fraud claim but insurance board is going to to be notified anyway.

They put a crown on right before COVID. The crown chipped 3 weeks ago, we had moved and gotten a new dentist. Turned out it wasn't an emergency. They told me it was under warranty and scheduled me to come in and get it replaced. Drove across town and went to get it replaced, showed up and l they said I voided the warranty because I had gone too long between cleanings and hadn't gotten a mouth guard. We didn't go in during COVID and we'd move, also not sure what cleaning has to do with a crown. Waste of time, and poor patient care. Got me on a technicality. Noice.

After a bad experience at a different location ,I gave this place a shot. They took care of me in a timely manner. I don't really have any complaints besides having to ask for the medication I believed was expected. I can't say I'm too disappointed because of the abuse of said medications. Regardless of that. I have been taken care of with respect and no complications. Friendly staff and fairly clean.

This place is a joke and a big scam!!! My first couple of visits went well. Dr K said I needed a deep cleaning and had two cavities...so she gave me the full exam and x-rays then I scheduled my deep cleaning, when I showed up I seen a different doctor and he made no sense what so ever as to what he was doing. He started doing the exact same thing I already had done from my second visit with Dr K. He said he wanted to make sure about things when I told him I already had this done. I just got up and left. Very unprofessional place! I would never refer this place. They must not trust one another's work to want to repeat the same thing or this is how they rip people off.

The dental experience was good, however this company's billing department is as fraudulent as they come. I've been working for 5 months to get $700+ overpayment returned. I've provided copies of payments and all of the EOB's showing that my insurance paid more than what was expected but they refuse to audit their records and provide my refund. I was told they had to reprocess all claims through my insurance over 2 months ago yet not a single one has been resubmitted according to my insurance.

If I could give zero stars I would. They wouldn't let my little sister get her wisdom teeth out which they have rescheduled 3 times now, because my step dad was with her and not our mom who is in the hospital right now. When telling them she is in the hospital they said "of course she is" very unacceptable behavior coming from them. Don't recommend going there at all. Save your troubles and find a different dentist. Anyone is better then these people.

!! Read reviews before coming !!So I had an appointment scheduled for today. I did have new insurance that started on the first. The receptionist called to verify " calling the wrong state for witch my insurance is in. Obviously there going to tell her I'm not covered. I did the work for her and they still canceled both my appointments. My other appointment was for tomorrow. I would not give a single star. This place is udder bullshit... Glad the whole family will boycott this place. Sucks for them. By the way they don't deserve the one star

Horrible experience. My husband had a tooth causing him server pain. He went in to an emergency visit at Northglenn Smiles Dentistry. They took X-rays and then told him he needed a deep cleaning and there was nothing they could do. this took 2.5 hours. I called perfect teeth off of 88th and wads. They got my husband in same day, where they advised he needed the tooth pulled and a bone graft. Perfect teeth had my husband fixed up in an hour. Northglenn Smiles Dentistry took 2.5 hours to do nothing and offered no care. If they cant handle emergencies than they shouldn't except emergency appointments. The dentist at Northglenn Smiles Dentistry barley even spoke to my husband and didn't even really look in his mouth. I do high recommend Perfect Teeth off of 88th and Wadsworth though. They are amazing.

This place is a scam! Absolutely do not go here! Went in for a basic cleaning and sat for over 2 hours waiting to get a cleaning. They took x-rays as "part of an annual exam" and I ended up with a $300 dollar bill. On top of that they didn't even clean my teeth, they tried to up-sale me for un-needed services. This place doesn't care at all about patients, they just want to give you a sales pitch on your teeth. Worst dentist I've ever been to.

I have called and requested an itemized statement 3 times and have not received it. It's been over a month now. They failed to explain as to why I was billed and charged before my insurance claims were sent and processed by my insurance. I have double cover and was asked to pay before they knew what the insurance companies were going to pay. According to my EOB's l have overpaid them. Can't figure out why it's so hard to print and mail an itemized statement! Be careful before you pay this place check with your insurance company first! Update 05/06/21 After a few calls and emails, Northglenn Dentistry did correct the situation and refund/credit the money that was owed to me. Had no problem with the Dental experience just the financial, but this has been taken care of now. Thank you!

BEWARE! Do NOT get a crown from these people. When I first got my crown it wasn't even placed correctly and my bite get off. Give it some time they said. Few months later it fell out and I had to get the entire crown remade. Well fast forward to 2 years later and here I am again. Eating a banana and it just lifts right out of my mouth. Except this time I now live out of state and have to go through a whole different dentist( which is probably a good thing) This place needs to close down if they don't know how to do basic dental work
