Hi, I am Dr. Sakala, and I have been a dentist for 25 years. I love helping my clients to relieve their pain, enhance their smiles and to relieve their fears of visiting the dentists. I can achieve all this with the help of my great team at Northgate dental.

I graduated as a dentist in 1994 from Government Dental College, Hyderabad, India. I practiced dentistry for a year in India. Then I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry in 1998 with DDS.

I believe in being a lifelong learner. So, I continue to take lots of continuing education seminars and to enhance my skills in different areas of dentistry after being a General Dentist. In the process, I obtained certifications from the US Dental Institute in Orthodontics, Cerec same day crowns, Implant Seminars, Invisalign.

I am excited to come to the office every day because I get an opportunity to help people. It is a lot of fun to work with my staff, and we love to make our practice a great place for the clients. We see patients of all age groups in our practice.

I have been a resident of Aurora since 1999. My spouse Srinivasa and I have two children. They are Meghana and Karthik. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, spending time with my family, cooking, and playing games and watching movies in the theater.

I am Adriana Martinez, working as Office Manager at Northgate Dental. I've been in the dental field for over 20 years and 16 years is part of this team. My daily goal is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service that I have acquired to equip our team to provide the best service to our patients and their families. We all work exceptionally well as a team to offer you the best service. Our staff is very warm and inviting. I love the positive energy felt by everyone especially our patients. I appreciate the care that our doctors and their team strive to provide to our clients. My mission is to make sure each patient has the dental care that they deserve.

I am Alejandra, better known as Alley, attended Kennedy King College in Chicago, IL. I have been working for Northgate Dental since 2016. I am a passionate dental hygienist and my goal is educating the patients in the importance of oral hygiene. I believe that everyone deserves to be informed and comfortable on every single visit. Outside of the office, I love to spend time with my husband and kids, gardening, decorating my house and cooking for the family are gratifying moments.

Hello, my name is Bertha. Im blessed to be a Lead Dental Assistant of Northgate Dental since 2005. But when it comes to working my top priorities while working are making sure the patient is fine and comfortable and making sure things are moving along efficiently.

I love what I do, and the only way to do a great job is to love what you do! Also, Im a proud mother of two handsome boys. My free time is spent with my husband cooking, and he is a fantastic chef! We also go on nature walks and gardening.

I joined the team of Northgate Dental in 2012 as a Dental Assistant. I have been in the dental field for 16 years. I am fluent in two languages both Spanish and English. Being bilingual has given me the opportunity to help the patients to educate them in maintaining their teeth the best they can, and that makes me feel great about myself. Other than being at work one of the things that I love to do is to spend time with my children, going to the park playing sports and going on road trips with my spouse and the children.

Hi, I am Noemi. I am from Aurora. I have been a dental assistant for 20 years. I joined the team in June 2016. I love helping our patients feel comfortable and at ease while they are with us. I am also a licensed Cosmetologist. I love spending time with my husband and five kids. We enjoy family cookouts and sports. We attend sports events like baseball. We are Cubs fans for sure.

Hello, my name is Sangeeta. I am a billing assistant at Northgate Dental. I have a PG Degree in Accounting & Statistics. I had an opportunity to enter into the dental field as a dental billing assistant. As a billing assistant, I help clients with insurance benefits and processing dental claims. I have been working with at Northgate Dental since May 2017, and it has indeed been a fantastic opportunity for me. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing team. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, spending time with my family, cooking, and playing games.

They tend to charge missed appointment fees when you DON'T even schedule one and exaggerate the fees but then you ask for paperwork it tends to go from a $45 charge to a $25 charge once you ask for an invoice

I had tooth extraction at this place yesterday. Dr. Sakala made me comfortable through out the surgery. It's been 24 hours after surgery and I didn't felt any pain at all

Worst dental experience ever!!! Will never go back there. Last December I had an infection in an upper molar and I was in a lot of pain. The tooth was also quite loose and it needed an extraction. While the Dentist seemed nice, they said they were not able to extract my tooth, & that I needed to go to an oral surgeon, but the dentist said they would write me prescription for an antibiotic. I asked if they could phone in to pharmacy to fill my prescription and the dentist said yes, and to just tell the receptionist at the front counter to phone it in. But when I asked the receptionist to call in my prescription, she said "Oh we don't do that". I informed her that the dentist just said that they would. The receptionist, rolling her eyes back, seemed quite annoyed by me, and phoned in my prescription begrudgingly. I then asked if she could print out the paperwork for me. She seemed to fumble around on the computer for a few moments. Then said she didn't know why, but claimed that the printer wasn't working. I had to wait a bit for my ride to come pick me up. As I was waiting, the receptionist seemed to have no problems printing out paperwork for another patient. It took several weeks for me to get an appointment with an oral surgeon, who asked if the dentist had a plan for me to get some bridge work. Basically the oral surgeon kicked me back to the dentist and they did not extract the tooth, but by this time the infection had returned and I had to get another prescription for antibiotics. After the bad experience that I had at Northgate Dental, I decided to find another dentist. The new dentist gave me a shot of Novocain and just pulled the tooth right out with absoulty no problems whatsoever. The new dentist said since the tooth was so loose, there was really no reason for me to have it extracted by an oral surgeon in the first place. There was no reason for the receptionist to have been so rude and condescending towards me and I have the feeling that she was prejudice to me because I am a transgender woman. I read another review on here where someone else also said negative things about the receptionist. Her behavior was very unprofessional and unacceptable. This person has no business being employed in any type of business that works with the public. I have a friend who's wife is a retired dental hygienist. When I told her about my experience she asked where it was. When I said Northgate Dental she said that she's heard more than one complaint about this place. Maybe this place is okay for simple teeth cleaning & having cavities filled, but they couldn't do a simple extraction. And while I was in extreme pain, the girl at the front desk showed absolutely no compassion. A few weeks ago I received a text message from Northgate Dental reminding me to come in for a cleaning. I really find that insulting after my terrible experience there. Forced to give a one star review because it wont publish a Zero.

I have HORRIBLE teeth. I'd attribute it to my bad dental genetics, but I also have a soda/coffee addiction. I had gone to the same dentist in Geneva for 20 years and never really liked him. I had to get my own insurance and Northgate was the only dentist I could find that took my insurance. I was worried the dental care would not be the best because of my insurance provider. I couldn't have been more wrong! I hadn't seen the dentist in 2 years when I came into Northgate. I have several cavities and one that may need a root canal. They filled two of my cavities so quickly. I was shocked. It was completely painless. I was so nervous but now I'm looking forward to fixing the rest.

No complaint about the Dentists but the front desk receptionists are a joke, they are unprofessional and have no clue when you ask about details regarding your account and/or receipt, they just won't take the time to even try to explain the receipt, all they kept telling me was "you don't have to worry about that, you don't owe us anything" all I wanted to understand the charges on my receipt and all I got was "you don't have to worry about it, you don't owe us anything"

The Dentist and Associates are heroes, risking Covid 19 infection to treat people in pain. God bless and keep them along with all of our health care workers. Some time s over whelmed they stay on the job. Doing, in this case, great dentistry only to have it covered by a mask. It must be frustrating. Lol laugh out loud
