I love this group! Dr. jagger is the best, and the office staff is kind and considerate - especially Kathy(Cathy?). I had to change insurance when my husband passed, and this office doesn't participate in my new insurance. I go there anyway as they have a reasonable plan if their own. You can't go wrong at Northfield Family Dental!

Update: During my appointment on April 12, I found out from the hygienist that Dr. Matheson was now with the Vineland practice. This should have been communicated to me when I was called the day before and asked to come in early. While I like the hygienist I had, the room she works in STILL has the unsanitary, unsightly ripped arm chairs. She covered them with plastic for me when I requested. I came to this practice because my dentist, Dr. Matheson, joined the group. Well, my visit today has my wondering if it's time to find a new provider and a cleaner, updated facility. The chair I sat in for my annual cleaning was disgusting! The leather, or whatever material it is, on the arms of the chair is totally cracked to the point that you see the fabric underneath it. Unsanitary! The pink mini blinds and wallpaper had me flashing back at least 30 years. Most of the staff are friendly and efficient but if they can't update a worn chair, what else might they be skimping on?

I've been a patient for years now. I've never had a problem before. And this review is strictly directed at the woman who overcharged me over 1000$. My insurance recently changed so when I was charged I wasn't thinking twice. I got the statement from my insurance company where I saw how much I was overcharged. I've called many times. Nobody ever called me back. Thankfully a family member had an appt and was able to handle the situation for me in person. I was told I was getting a check refunded and corporate was sending it. It's been a month. No check. The young man I spoke to was helpful and apologized. He told me Amanda the manager was looking into it and would give me a call. I haven't gotten a call back. An update would be great, even if she didn't have an answer as to why I hadn't gotten my check. ONE THOUSAND dollars is an insane amount to overcharge someone. Especially a loyal patient, I get all my dental work done there and come every 6 months for my cleaning with Michelle. I'm beyond frustrated at this point, waiting for my phone call or check. Amanda is the same person who overcharged me. Maybe she should have had proper training on the computer to make sure we're not overcharging people insane amounts of money. I know I am not the only one this has happened to. At this point, I might just look for a new dentist that will take care of me correctly. I am that aggravated with the lack of customer service. I'm not one to write bad reviews or call people out by their name but considering the lack of all around respect I've received, this review is justified.

Today, on 03/07/2022, I had the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I am upset, in pain and very frustrated! I went to see Dr Atallah because I had had pretty bad sensitivity issues over the weekend in the tooth she had filled earlier, in February. The entire weekend I was in a very bad pain, with that tooth she had filled, that never bother me before! she said she can try redoing the filling. she then proceeded to do the injections, but they weren't working right away, so without waiting she started to drill the tooth and I had the most horrible pain, I could feel everything. She then did a whole bunch more injections and started drilling again, - same pain. she then said we need to do a temporary filling and would not have any time for another 2 weeks for me to do a permanent filling! I was numb for the majority of the remaining day, couldn't swallow without pain and it was hard to talk. I lost the remaining day of work because of all this. And I was told that I would be charged for Xrays and consult, which then she changed her mind to just consult. This is OUTRAGEOUS. This is no way to treat your patients. I feel like Dr Atallah is very inexperienced and she was just experimenting on me, which is wrong. I will make sure to tell all of my friends about this if this does not get resolved.
