The absolute best!!! I feel like he is family by now. I really appreciate all the help to get me permanent teeth over the years. From Maryland Bridges, to flippers, and now to crown implants!!! I am so blessed to have had Dr. Lin. I mean it!!! Use him for all your prosthodontic needs!!!

I hesitated to write about my awful experience with this man; however I see I am not alone. I was verbally abused, shamed and harassed by Dr. Lin. I have NEVER been treated like this by anyone, it was shocking. He should lose his license.

I had surgery done by Dr. Lin, and was very satisfied with the results. Dr. Lin even followed up afterwards in case I had any discomfort or issues. I was glad to have Dr. Lin perform my surgery and would definitely recommend Dr. Lin's office. His staff was also very professional and patient with clients.

I had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Lin who is an excellent prosthodontist. He replaced three of my crowns, two of which were previously replaced by other dentists who could not get them right. He is a perfectionist who very much cares about the final result whatever it takes, rather than just getting it done like some other dentists. He is also friendly, patient, and accommodating to your schedule. The staff is very friendly as well. I would not go anywhere for crowns and highly recommend him!

I don't like writing negative reviews as a business owner knowing how much impact it can have on a small business but please AVOID TERRY LIN, who is the most condescending and arrogant doctor I've ever met. As soon as I sat down, he started talking down to me in a verbally abusive manner that shocked me, asking me questions like: -why don't you know Invisalign will damage your teeth?! -why don't you know your need implants first?! -why didn't you think you have major issues to fix before even thinking of veneers?! -don't even think about veneers before you decide if you can pay for the implants first! When I asked him for an idea of payment he said he can't give me a breakdown but to start, think about whether I can even afford to pay for a basic evaluation which costs $2000-3000. Well, why did I pay $350 for a consultation today then if he can't even tell me anything except insult me and insinuate I didn't know anything? He didn't even bother to study or look at the X-ray which I paid $250 for. What a waste of my time. I am filing a dispute with my credit card for the 15 minute "consultation" I had with Terry Lin where he told me NOTHING I didn't know before and treated me like I can't afford to pay and too dumb to be worthy of his time. Ps. Terry I know you will read this. Instead of pretending you don't know me or I'm over reacting, see that multiple clients have said the same things about you and use this to improve. I nearly ran out of our consultation crying. You are verbally abusive and it's not surprising the front desk receptionist didn't want to give out your name for fear I'd leave another bad review.

One of the benefits of living in the New York "Tri-State" area is having access to some of the best medical professionals in the world. Northern Westchester Prosthodontics and Terry Lin, DDS, MS, FACP is a perfect example. I've known Dr. Lin since 2016 when he treated my wife for a complex dental condition requiring surgery and several implants. Her local dentists were not especially optimistic about her prognosis and weren't even sure what the course of treatment should be. This had us both very concerned to say the least. A friend suggested we get a second opinion from a prosthodontist. We found Dr. Lin at NWP were immediately impressed with his credentials that include Board Certification and a teaching affiliation with NYU. Her treatment was great success and we were both happy and relieved that she chose Dr. Lin and Northern Westchester Prosthodontics. In 2020, during a routine exam at my general dentist office in Connecticut I was told I had an abscessed tooth that needed to be extracted. Their treatment plan was as follows; first go to an oral surgeon to have the tooth extracted, wait 3 months after which go back to the surgeon for implant placement , then wait another 3 months to get a crown placed on the implant. It was to be a long 9 month process. I consulted Dr. Lin, who subsequently treated me. Using a state of the art technique he and his assistant extracted the tooth and placed the implant all in one visit. The procedure was painless and throughout Dr. Lin calmly explained everything they were doing, which helped lessen any anxiety. Three months later I returned to their office for the crown. My treatment was a great success and done in three rather then nine months! I cannot express how fortunate I feel to have been treated by Dr. Lin and his team. The office is in a great location, modern, spotless and pleasant, and the staff are super polite, professional and helpful. All in all, these are professionals of the highest level who treat their patients with care and compassion as well as expertise. I cannot recommend this practice and Dr. Terry Lin highly enough!

Dr. Lin and his staff are always professional, friendly and courteous. He is always on time for my appointments, clearly explains all procedures, and answers all questions. I never feel as though I'm being rushed. He repaired a chipped tooth, and it looks amazing. Dr. Lin has specialized training in prosthodontics from NYU making him highly qualified to handle the most serious dental issues.

He came out of lockdown in the middle of the pandemic to treat me. He left his family and the safety of his home to open his closed office to answer my emergency call. I thought knowing that might help.

My personal experience with Dr. Lin was horrendous. I was forced to see him for insurance purposes and after contacting over a dozen dentists in my area, he was the only dentist that had immediate openings. He was extremely judgmental about my teeth and blamed me because he thought I did not practice appropriate dental hygiene. He was verbally abusive and insensitive about my situation. Even his staff encouraged me to seek other providers. His staff witnessed him being inconsiderate and rude to me and expressed it to me. Not a pleasant experience.

I was forced to see him for insurance purposes and after contacting over a dozen dentists in my area, he was the only dentist that had immediate openings. He was extremely judgmental about my teeth and blamed me because he thought I did not practice appropriate dental hygiene. He was verbally abusive and insensitive about my situation. Even his staff encouraged me to seek other providers. His staff witnessed him being inconsiderate and rude to me and expressed it to me. Not a pleasant experience.

Very happy with Dr. Lin. He did two crowns for me, one of which was a front tooth. I have had bonding in the tooth since I was a kid, but it just never matched (I have white spots from decalcification on the other front tooth, which makes it near impossible). Cracking my tooth on the sidewalk last year turned out to be a lucky turn of events. Dr. Lin made me a a perfect match. People cannot tell the difference at all! He is quite a perfectionist!
