It is our personal mission to provide safe, superior oral surgery in Mt. Kisco and Westchester, NY. We are affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center and Westchester Medical Center. Depending on the nature of your surgery and your specific needs, your procedure may be performed in our office ambulatory surgical setting, or at either Columbia University Medical Center, Westchester Medical Center, or Northern Westchester Hospital in an operating room setting. Regardless of the location, your comfort is a top priority. With our extensive training in anesthesia, we can provide intravenous sedation in our office setting for any procedure that you might need.
After a year of research with Harvard Medical Schools Department of Otolaryngology, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Zachary Weber went on to receive his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Upon graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006, he received senior student awards from the American Academy of Oral Medicine, as well as Tufts University awards for student excellence in Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology. At this time, he was also inducted as a new member to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Zachary Weber then went on to complete a rigorous six-year dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a busy Level 1 trauma center in Philadelphia, PA. During his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, he had the opportunity to operate with and learn from a variety of excellent mentors, and performed a high volume of orthognathic, facial trauma, and facial pathology-related cases. During that time, he also received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
During his residency training, Dr. Zachary Weber was actively involved in Scientific and Clinical research, and at the 93rd Annual American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) meeting in 2011, he was given the AAOMS Outstanding Poster Presentation Award for his work investigating the genetics of bone tumors.
Before finishing at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Zachary Weber additionally completed a year of general surgeryand also spent time training with a renowned Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware.
Dr. Zachary Weber is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has a special interest in dental implants and complex bone grafting procedures. He is very happy to have returned to his hometown and to have the opportunity to serve the community in which he was raised.
Dr. Konstantina S. Giesberg, DDS, is a board-certified dentist anesthesiologist, having obtained a dental degree, followed by a specialty in dental anesthesiology.She has earned the privilege of becoming a Diplomate ofthe American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Giesberg obtained, with honors, her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) fromthe University of Buffalo, NY. She then completed her General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During this time, she recognized the need for advanced deep sedation and general anesthesia procedures to help manage pain and anxiety in patients for whom local anesthesia and lighter levels of sedation are ineffective or inappropriate.
Dr.Giesbergthen furthered her studies at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center with a Specialty Program in Dental Anesthesiology, involving three years of concentration in deep sedation and general anesthesia. In addition, she completed training in Cardiology, Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her clinical experience included a significant portion devoted to hospital operating room anesthesiology rotations as well as ambulatory anesthesia for dental patients. She was trained by medical anesthesiologists as well as by dentist anesthesiologists, and has applied hospital-level anesthesia standard of care to all patients whom not only had dental treatments but also medical surgeries. Some of the medical surgeries for which she conducted anesthesia services included: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, breast augmentation, gastric bypass, total abdominal hysterectomy, total hip replacement, spinal fusion and placement of pacemakers.
This clinical exposure and surgical casework experiencehelped develop Dr. Giesberg as a highly competent practitioner. She carefully evaluates each dental patient to determine and deliver the appropriate sedation/general anesthetic that is needed, and safely manage any potential complications that may rise. Dr. Giesberg specializes in delivering individually tailored anesthesia to all. She takes great pride in making each patient feel comfortable, while trying to understand each individuals needs and anxieties. After deciding to change career paths from Psychology, she went on to complete post baccalaureate work to become a Dentist. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2007. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Henkin began a General PracticeResidency (GPR) at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Henkin worked closely with the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department there, and was able to operate and learn from some of the greatest names in the specialty.
During her residency, Dr. Henkin was able to operate and learn from the best at Loma Linda university, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center, as well as Arrowhead Medical Center, Riverside Country Regional Medical Center, and Loma Lindas VA hospital. During this time she was able to perform a large volume of facial trauma, orthognathic, and head and neck pathology cases, all of which helped make her the surgeon she is today.
Dr. Henkin participated in research while at Loma Linda and in 2010 she received the prestigious American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) award at the 92nd AAOMS meeting in Chicago for best Oral Abstract involving research with Bone Morphogenic Protein (BMP).
Dr. Henkin is currently on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she actively takes call, and is a volunteer attending within the residency program, actively involved in resident education.
Dr. Henkin joined Northern Westchester Oral Surgery in early 2021. She is grateful to have found a state-of-the-art practice that is so focused on exceptional patient outcomes and an incredible patient experience.

Incredible! This was my third surgery with Dr. Weber, they have all gone so well. He makes the whole experience very comfortable. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly, his expertise is evident.

Dr. Weber was great. Both the extraction and insertion went smoothly. I didn't need ANY pain medication after either procedure.

Absolutely beautiful experience! I had a very painful infection in my mouth due to an impacted wisdom tooth and time was of the essence in terms of how quickly I could have the tooth removed. After some extensive research of reviews I found Dr Weber's office. Though I live in Staten Island I'am extremely particular with where I receive my care. Driving is of no consequence to me. Dr Weber has a very lovely staff, they literally squeezed me into thier weeks schedule. The wait time was minimal and the office is immaculate. Dr Weber is a highly skilled physician! He also very considerate of his patients and has a great bedside manner. He even played the music of my choice to help ease me through my surgery. Dr Weber thoroughly went over the procedure and types of feelings I might expect to feel, which I felt very little to nothing at all ! He also went over the expectation of how long the procedure would take, also not long but done rather quickly! I am usually in fear of pain and all kinds of surgery, but Dr. Henkin made it a much better experience! Her professionalism, attention to detail, and empathy put me at ease. She patiently explained in detail of the procedure and expectations. My procedure was painless and "relaxing" with her use of IV sedation.

Wow, I love this place and I love Dr. Henkin in particular! Needless to say, I was not excited to have my wisdom teeth taken out. I have no threshold for pain and I was really anxious. But walking into this office immediately makes you feel a little bit calmer. It's so clean and soothing. A bit spa-like. And Dr. Henkin's personality puts you at ease because she is so down to earth and nice. And I felt that she really understood my anxiety about the pain. She talked me through the procedure, and everything went off without a single problem. She was really knowledgeable both about my dental issues as well as IV sedation. If you have any anxiety about painful dental procedures, Dr.Henkin is who you want to see- trust me!

Had a molar removed by Dr. Henkin last week due to an infection at an old root canal. She and her staff were amazing. I am very anxious when it comes to Dentistry, and they made me feel very comfortable. The extraction went perfect, as did the reconstruction for the implant. Dr. Henkin was SO responsive to my questions after the surgery. So glad my Dentist recommended Dr. Henkin.

I saw Dr. Weber. He explained everything that was required when he does my procedure. He was VERY knowledgeable and I feel extremely comfortable to have him complete my oral surgery. I'd give him a 5, but he hasn't done the procedure yet... Let's see how it goes!!! Fingers crossed ! So I got my procedure done and I will have to say Dr. Weber put my worries at ease. The procedure was painless ( with lots of Novocaine) and he took his time. The implant was placed perfectly. Looking forward to seeing it all healed up!

Dr Weber is not only an exacting and expert physician, but he is incredibly caring and compassionate. He truly wants his patients to have the best experience and outcome. He spends as much time as needed carefully explaining procedures, his approach, and the why's behind what he is doing, as well as answering all questions. I highly recommend Dr Weber.
