Dr. Hunter obtained his bachelors degree while a student athlete at Sam Houston State University and his doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry while a member of the honor society. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Hunter also served at the Veterans Hospital during his residency.
Dr. Hunters clinical interest in pediatric surgery and dental implant reconstruction has been a constant within his practice. He is past president of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a previous instructor for Advanced Cardiovascular and Pediatric Life Support. Presently he serves as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has been nominated by peers as a premier surgeon in his field and has been featured in Texas Monthly, Fort Worth, and D Magazine. Dr. Hunter and his wife, Kathy, have four children. When not at work, Dr. Hunter can be found spending time with his family and enjoying outdoor activities.
Dr. Dean Spingola is a board-certified oral surgeon serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1999 as a partner at Northern Texas Facial & Oral Surgery. He is prominent in the dental community and well-recognized in the medical profession, serving as the chairman of the governing board of Baylor Las Colinas Surgical Hospital.
Dr. Spingola is loving and devoted to his wife, Christina, and their young children, who make life fun and adventurous during free time. He also enjoys running, golfing, bowling and traveling back to Pennsylvania to his hometown to visit his family.
During his undergraduate years, Dr. Buchmann was a student athlete at Texas A&M University. He received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston -Dental Branch. He spent the next 14 years in the United States Navy where he completed the Advanced Clinical Program in Oral Surgery and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Buchmanns training and experience in the Navy gave him the ability to provide a wide range of surgical services.

I highly recommend this place! I found this place when my daughter needed her wisdom teeth out and used them recently to have some dental surgery done on myself. The staff is top notch! Every person you have an interaction with is kind and helpful. Dr. Brown takes the time to listen to you and explain the procedure as well as your options.

They just carr about your money and how to get it out of your pocket. Practice manager is so uncaring. I did same procedure they offered me for $2500 at other clinic for $176, yes that is completely correct

Dr.Buchmann is soo sweet! I've been dreading my wisdom tooth removal for years. He and his entire staff was sooo nice and caring. They covered me with TWO blankets during my surgery. He even numbed my hand so I'd barely feel the administrating of the IV. I thought the whole time that I was asleep for 5 mins. When the nurse work me up I was wondering why she was bothering me. I couldn't believe it was so fast. But to top it off he personally called to check up on me! Reach great people here. HIGHLY recommend!

I just had another procedure done recently and it couldn't have gone any better. The consultation and scheduling was done quickly and without any problems. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. Dr. Buchmann answers all your questions and puts you at ease. I had several procedures done. I had extractions, jaw surgery, and implant surgery. Each procedure was done with great care and with fantastic results. The staff. Is friendly and helpful with all questions concerning procedures, instance and follow up. . They worked around my schedule with my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Buchman and the Keller office.

The minute I made a call, I was greeted with professionalism and helpfulness while in great pain with my issue. NTFOS Keller got me in quickly and my surgery scheduled even quicker. The office is calming, relaxed, clean, and impressive. The staff from the front desk to the nurses are all caring, attentive, and sympathetic. Dr. Buchmann was super helpful during my consultation and worked immediately on my game plan for today.....and the surgery to be done later. I appreciated the time he took to make sure I was made comfortable until surgery day. Billing was laid out to be understood easily, honest, and options presented. Everyone here knows what they're doing and does it with courtesy and care. And it turns out Dr. Buchmann and I realized I used him for my wisdom teeth 20 years ago. I had a good experience then as a young adult as I did this time around. There's a reason this group is recommended by many dentists and so forth in the area. Make the call, don't sit in pain. These folks are the best.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth surgery with Dr. Buchmann on July 19, 2022. Dr. Buchmann and his staff are AMZAZING! This is my third kiddo to have this surgery and I wish we had used Dr. Buchmann for my older two kiddos! My daughter didn't use narcotic pain meds to control the post surgery pain. She did beautifully! She had some normal swelling but did very well and I attribute that to the care provided to her by Dr. Buchmann! I highly recommend Dr. Buchmann and his staff at the Keller location! We were in an out in about 50 minutes total! I was nervous because this was my daughter's first surgery. I was so impressed and worried for nothing! If you or your family need an oral Surgeon, call Dr. Buchmann!

Dr. Buchmann and the staff of NTFOS are awesome! They make the whole process of getting an implant as easy and painless as it can get. I don't like going to the Dentist or Doctor but I really don't get that feeling with Dr. Buchmann!

I have called this office three times to find out the cost of my implant and each time they have told me they would call me back and they never have. After the three unsuccessful attempts, I called and asked to speak to Office Manager, left a voicemail and never received a call back from them either. I guess I will need to find a different Oral surgeon although Dr. Buchmann was wonderful, just the front office staff don't return phone calls.
