Dr. Hunter obtained his bachelors degree while a student athlete at Sam Houston State University and his doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry while a member of the honor society. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Hunter also served at the Veterans Hospital during his residency.
Dr. Hunters clinical interest in pediatric surgery and dental implant reconstruction has been a constant within his practice. He is past president of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a previous instructor for Advanced Cardiovascular and Pediatric Life Support. Presently he serves as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has been nominated by peers as a premier surgeon in his field and has been featured in Texas Monthly, Fort Worth, and D Magazine. Dr. Hunter and his wife, Kathy, have four children. When not at work, Dr. Hunter can be found spending time with his family and enjoying outdoor activities.
Dr. Dean Spingola is a board-certified oral surgeon serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1999 as a partner at Northern Texas Facial & Oral Surgery. He is prominent in the dental community and well-recognized in the medical profession, serving as the chairman of the governing board of Baylor Las Colinas Surgical Hospital.
Dr. Spingola is loving and devoted to his wife, Christina, and their young children, who make life fun and adventurous during free time. He also enjoys running, golfing, bowling and traveling back to Pennsylvania to his hometown to visit his family.
During his undergraduate years, Dr. Buchmann was a student athlete at Texas A&M University. He received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston -Dental Branch. He spent the next 14 years in the United States Navy where he completed the Advanced Clinical Program in Oral Surgery and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Buchmanns training and experience in the Navy gave him the ability to provide a wide range of surgical services.

Office Management is unorganized. Cost of services seemed extremely high. I should of done some price comparisons prior, after talking with friends with the same quality standards as mine.

Had an implant done by Dr. Brown. Zero pain, fast procedure, extraordinary service. I also had an extraction done a couple of years ago with NTFOS. Same great service and follow up. I highly recommend NTFOS for any Oral Surgery.

This is my second treatment with Dr. Hunter; he's an excellent doctor. He explains the procedure in details up front so there's no confusion. I had four bottom teeth extracted and Dr. Hunter did a great job. I was surprised that the bleeding wasn't prolonged. I bled for an hour post surgery, and I am doing great thus far. My cheeks are swollen and bruised; it's normal and expected. Also, the check-in process is seamless. Stephanie is very helpful as well.

I rarely write reviews but I am consistently pleased with the next level of care at NTFOS. The staff are friendly and highly skilled at customer service. The team working with Dr. David Hunter, especially Jill, are not only professional but warm and caring. Dr, Hunter has the absolute best chair side manner and gives a through explanation of the procedure, all the while ensuring your comfort. They take the fear out of oral surgery and give you peace of mind through out the treatment! Also, the best for kids and wisdom teeth removal. Thank you so much!
