I posted a review elsewhere but also wanted to share here. Dr. Delaney Turner is AMAZING and so gentle. I literally have almost fallen asleep when getting fillings done by her. Lisa, the dental hygienist is incredible too. So kind, gentle and informative. I've hated going to the dentist for years but not anymore. This place is top notch. Definitely give the office a try, you'll be impressed.

So I called to make a routine cleaning and due to my insurance being Masshealth they denied making me an appointment because they weren't accepting any more Masshealth clients- I then suggested just paying out of pocket for the service so we could avoid having to go through my insurance they didn't want to take and still was declined since I mentioned having MassHealth from the initial conversation. If I'm paying out of pocket entirely for a service I don't see what the issue is for booking an appointment. Incompetence and negligence of a Dental Group- truly disappointed this is what we're left with as options for dental work. Ce la vie

I had called to set up a first time appointment. The women who answered made me seem like a bother for even calling and asking about insurance. Said they were booking way out when I asked it's July lots of surgeons have wait time such as this...when I was saying I was going to call around and see who took my insurance she hung up on me.

I had an appointment yesterday at Northern Star Dental to have 3 molars extracted by Dr. Jarmoc...my first time at this office. I arrived 20 minutes early but they didn't take me until 30 minutes late. The waiting room was busy with at least 6 people waiting . The dental assistant was young and seemed new as she was fumbling through my directions , but she was nice . The Dr. Came in and I discussed my concerns with him as I was hoping to possibly save one of the 3 molars ... but he told me there was a lot of bone loss and he couldn't tell me how long it would last , so I decided to go ahead and have all 3 teeth pulled as planned .....the Dr numbed that one tooth and left ... I was a bit confused because he didn't numb the other side of my mouth where the other 2 molars were to be pulled ... I spoke to the assistant and she went to tell him that we were pulling 3 teeth ... he didn't seem to know ... ? So he came back and numbed the other side, the needles hurt ALOT , ALOT , ALOT .... then immediately went in and pulled one of the molars ... I told him I was very nervous and scared ... I barely had a chance to catch my breath and he went in and started to pull the other Two molars ...I was crying at this point and trembling ...he was done and he instructed the assistant to take X-rays and left ... he returned and told me I was all set and should be fine and to take some ibuprofen, and I asked for something stronger and he said no I wouldn't need it , I should be fine , .... he left quickly again .... I told the assistant I could not take ibuprofen because a high blood pressure medication that I take interacts with ibuprofen....she went to get the Dr. And he came back and said take Tylenol...at this point I was very upset with this whole situation and his bedside manner and his abrupt attitude, I felt like he never read my chart before seeing me , he didn't know from the start I was having 3 teeth pulled and he didn't even know I couldn't take ibuprofen ... I felt as though I was just being rushed in and rushed out ... I then told him I thought it was RIDICULOUS that he would not prescribe me pain medication after having 3 molars pulled...i told him I was very disappointed, I did not want to be in pain all night .... I said I was only asking for a enough to get me through the first night ...He said he had guidelines to follow , but FINALLY, said He would give me 4 pills and again quickly left ...I don't think he was happy with me .... that was it , I was done ....the assistant walked me out ...I'm not sure that I would recommend this office after my experience and I don't think I would go back again ....

My dentist told me I needed a few teeth removed and send me to this place. From the get go, the experience was good. Front desk people fit me into their schedule quickly as I had some pain. They helped with insurance and everything was as explained. The assistant Marisa was funny and pleasant. I was anxious about having this done but the doctor was confident and put me at ease. I was numbed and had three teeth removed in like a minute. I could not believe how fast and painless it was. Great experience, highly recommend!

I have started using Northern star dental group over the past six months and have had a wonderful experience! I've had to have a cleaning and now a root canal and they were amazing for both! All of the staff were very warm and compassionate.

This place is awful. all they care about is money, money. they will take and treat people off the street-to meet their numbers for the day. Saw them treat their employees like doormats.

This place was great! I had four impacted teeth removed. Everyone in the office is friendly and made me feel at ease. I was very anxious so I was sedated for the procedure and it was a breeze. If you need your wisdom teeth removed, this is the place to go. My experience was excellent and I will recommend this office to all my friends

In first place they didn't do a good job on my fillings and I had to go back in to get it fixed. Second, after 2 months of thinking that I had paid for all the services I receive a statement so I called to check what was this for since they had said on my last appointment that I didn't owe anything. Happens that they. made a mistake and DID NOT ask previous to taking some X-rays that I already had these X-rays taken at a previous dentist office. So now I have to pay for their mistake??? No way! Very disappointed and totally not recommended.

I have had a fear of going to the dentist for so long until I found Northern Star Dental Group. The staff is always amazing, the office is always sparkling clean, and Dr Christine is just amazing. I'm 5 months pregnant and she always asks me how I'm feeling, gives breaks if needed, and is just such a uplifting spirit to be near. I couldn't be more pleased with her practice.
