We have a modern sterilization system that surpasses OSHA requirements and we have our sterilizer tested routinely by a third party to ensure its effectiveness. Dr. Lippert's commitment to providing the highest quality of care to his patients was rewarded in 2010 when he achieved a Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) is one of the few added distinctions that a general dentist can achieve. The award was presented to Dr. Doug at a formal ceremony in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Douglas Lippert, DMD, FAGD is one of only 7 percent of general dentists who have achieved this honor.
Dr. Doug's emphasis on keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements through post graduate courses and continuing education in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Douglas Lippert has a wide range of experience in multiple areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to braces, root canals, sedation dentistry and implants.
His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you to understand your concerns and goals. Then, after a comprehensive and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you. Dr. Doug is married and has three small children. When he is not providing dental care excellence at his North Huntingdon dental practice, Dr. Lippert enjoys supporting the Pitt football and basketball programs, teaching his son to play baseball and hockey, watching his daughter paint and draw and enjoying his new baby boy.

Staff was very sincere, personable and professional. Dr. Lippert is amazing and so kind, I am no longer in fear of the dentist because of this office. I actually look forward to my visits now and happy I am able to keep my teeth healthy instead of avoiding dentist all together because of trauma from one years ago. Trust me, they are amazing!! You are worth it, go get your smile back!!!

Today was my first experience having dental procedures performed at Northern Sky Dental and with Dr. Lippert. I had not been to the dentist in 28 years and was extremely apprehensive about having any type of dental work done. Due to the amazing, caring and professional staff, along with the exceptional work Dr. Lippert performed, unlike earlier today (before my appointment), I'm now looking forward to completing my treatment plan and getting my teeth back into the healthy condition they need to be. Also, thank you for catering to this coward. I will be highly recommending your office to all of my friends and family. Thank you. Happy holidays.
