Dr. Benjamin Seymour was raised in Houghton Lake, MI. Following graduation from High School there, he entered Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI to earn his Bachelors of Science degree. He then moved to Indianapolis, IN to pursue his dental education at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 2006. Following a 2 year associateship in Big Rapids, in 2008 Dr. Seymour purchased the practice that is now Northern Quality Dental from Dr. Lester Adkin. Dr Seymour is a member of the ADA, MDA and AGD.
Dr. Seymour has many interests including boating, snowmobiling, dirt biking, shooting sports, metal fabrication, hunting, fishing and most importantly- spending time with his wife Jennifer and two boys- Zachary and Zane.
Michelle has been a fixture in the dental world since 2004! Her combined dental office experience brings over 15 years of knowledge and understanding of her position. Patient care, understanding dental insurance benefits, and managing the day to day tasks of the office are just a few of the many things she does. Her favorite part of working at Northern Quality Dental is the patient relationships. She feels that each and every patient is a friend and takes pride in helping them take care of their oral health needs.
When not at the office, she spends time with her husband Jeff, pug Bailey, and many friends and family. Her heart belongs to the Cadillac community, previously volunteering as an ambassador to the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce, Cadillac Jaycees, and former coach of the Cadillac Vikings Cheer team. Camping and music festivals such as the Hoxeyville Music Festival and sports are how she enjoys her free time. Fun in the sun is always at the top of her to do list!
Julie has been a dental assistant for many years, beginning her career with Dr. Adkin and continuing with Dr. Seymour when he took over the practice in 2007. Her experience and skills provide patients with a caring and comfortable dental visit. Shes able to answer all your dental questions in a professional manner all while making the experience fun and relaxing.
Julie and her husband Jeff have two children, Mitchell and Jaylyn. Their family enjoys participating in sports and watching home teams like the Cadillac Vikings and the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and the Michigan Wolverines-GO BLUE ! Her hobbies include camping with friends, spending time outdoors and devoting her time to her family.
Lori has been in the dental field for several years working in both clerical and clinical. One of her favorite things about her job is the contact with patients. She makes it her goal to create a comfortable and positive dental experience for patients visiting Northern Quality Dental. She enjoys changing the patients past negative dental experiences to positive future ones. Loris favorite thing is spending time with her family, husband Jim, their two grown sons Ashton, Keegan along with two wonderful daughters-in-law. She also enjoys GOLF, biking, camping, tubing, cross-country skiing and socializing with friends and family.
Brian grew up in Northern Michigan and graduated from Ferris State University in 1997. He enjoys several things the outdoors has to offer. Some of his favorites are hunting, fishing and camping. Especially when his two sons Colton and Eric are home to visit and share those experiences with him and his wife Ardy.
At work, Brian is said to have come with the building as hes been here for 18 years, first with Dr. Adkin and now with Dr. Seymour. He says its wonderful to get to know and serve so many people and their families and tend to their dental needs. He enjoys educating them on home care, cavity prevention, and good dental health.
Amy is a graduate of the Ferris State University Dental Hygiene program. She had been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 20 years. Her love for dentistry and helping her patients achieve a beautiful smile is what keeps her motivated to be at her best every day.
