Northern Oral Surgery and Implant Center very kindly helped us while we were far from home by solving a painful, dry socket situation for my son who had wisdom tooth extraction surgery in our home state of Iowa a week previously. They worked him into their busy schedule and saw him just a few hours after we called. The front desk personnel were kind and pleasant, and the nurse, Michelle, was helpful and understanding. Dr. Mayer quickly saw my son, explained to him what to expect, irrigated the guilty socket and swiftly packed the gaping hole with ribbon of pain relieving material. Fifteen minutes later my son reported that the pain was all gone. To top it all off, they did not charge us for their work in their beautiful new office. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. After two days of watching my son suffer I had tears of relief in my eyes. Huge thanks to everyone at Northern Oral Surgery who interacted with us today. Best wishes for many more happy success stories in your new location.

After 5 weeks of the worse pain of my life I drive an hour and a half to be told I had to pay upfront. I was NOT told this beforehand as I would have been prepared. I am established patient with no balance due. All this place cared about is money. How cruel of them. Be warned! I feel I have been discriminated because I'm on Medicaid. I now am headed home in the worst pain of my life with no help. If I had been told I would have been prepared. Shame on them.

Zero stars if I could! My daughter recently had oral surgery on her impacted wisdom teeth and the dentist didn't stitch up the gums. She ended up in the emergency room days later suffering in extreme pain and had dry socket too. The emergency room doctor said it looked like a butcher took them out. She has been so miserable! Horrible job here.

Make sure they take your insurance before you schedule anything. I recently had an appointment for my wisdom teeth. Got a call to schedule surgery and was told my insurance wouldn't cover it. Over 3000 dollars out of pocket. I told them to forget about it and then I was told that I now owe over 400 for the initial visit. This place obviously cares about one thing only. And it's not the well being of their patients. Whoever manages this place is a thief and nothing more.

Wish I could give zero. But this place only cares about payment not the patient. I have insurance and they rather you pay up front and then they will submit your insurance.

Very great oral surgeon. Very friendly staff. Real Reassuring and comforting. I would highly recommend Them to others. They make You feel at ease.

Have had work done at a few places in town and honestly this place is at the top of my list. Fast, efficient and the nurses are wonderful! Dr. Morse was magic, very gentile and patient. They even gave me a little to go bag with an icepack and gauze. Thanks again guys!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled here. The front desk staff was super nice and informative. They really did what they could to keep me informed about what to expect and how to prepare. They greeted me by name. Dr. Puffer is nice and informative also. Knows his stuff. They brought me back and got my vitals. Made sure to ask if my health had changed since they last saw me. Very efficient. Got the nitrous oxide gas on me and got me prepped while I breathed that. Dr. Puffer put the IV after numbing the area so that was really nice bc as anyone knows, getting an IV put in SUCKS. After that, I was out and woke up with gauze in my mouth and a completely numb jaw. They made sure to stay with me and see that I was okay until they discharged me. Gave my boyfriend all the info bc I was out of it. I've had very little pain (what pain I've had was stamped out with ibuprofen) and have followed their instructions and my recovery is going great! I was pretty scared going into it but they made an unpleasant experience more bearable! I definitely recommend this place for anyone in need of oral surgery.
