He treated my daughter like dirt. She had a cavity, needs pulling. He yelled at her for ignoring her teeth, which she doesn't. She has two specialty challenges children, no cavities until 25, first pregnancy. Didn't help her teeth. He was so rude to her she cried all night. If there were no cavities, I guess a dentist would have to find another job. Would never go to him, will pass along his attitude. Then he wanted 1600.00 for a root canal and a crown. She doesn't have the money, so he's making her wait almost three weeks to pull a tooth that aches. I was angry most of the night for the way a professional treated her.

Thank you to the whole team there..I have had dental pain for years..after calling EVERY dentist in the state pretty much..I finally got an appointment HERE..and the next day I was back for extractions..the most painless extractions I've ever had. I wish I knew the importance of teeth a long time ago..but by the time I knew...the damage was done..looking forward to fixing what I can and keeping what I have and being happy with my smile again. Thank you so much guys..the receptionist is amazing..the staff us awesome..the Dr a pro..just.thank you..pain free after 10 years.

Laurel was amazing. I went in with a lot of anxiety as I typically hate the dentist and had pain in my back teeth, but she explained everything in perfect detail, calmed my nerves with how relaxed and patient she was, and I've NEVER had anyone in a dental office teach me so much about teeth! Very happy with my visit and will be going back.

On November 10th I had a consultation regarding full upper and lower dentures. The staff was extremely nice so I figured this would be where I would get them. They told me they would get back to me soon with prices and another appointment to get things started. Today is March 2nd and I now have a beautiful set of dentures that fit well and feel great. Only thing is, I got them from Azar and Walsh dental in Clarks Summit !!! Northern County still never got back to me even after a phone call to them 3 weeks ago. In a way, I'm glad they never called back. I couldn't be happier with my new smile !

I couldn't ask for a better team of professional people. They are all so pleasant and nice. Dr Kalna and his assistant are some of the funniest, most down to earth people and extremely knowledgeable in their respective fields. I would and have recommended others and will continue to do so.

.Both times the receptionist was extremely nice. As for the dentist, he is very rude. While there today, he came out of the office demanding that I get the child x-rays to take out permanent teeth. I had to tell the dentist that the child was not getting permanent teeth removed as per what he said at the last appointment. There is obviously a complete lack of communication in this office and the dentist is just plain rude. The child had gotten the baby tooth pulled, but the dentist did not give me any after-care instructions I had to ask the receptionist for them myself. Meanwhile, he came out of working on the child and spoke to me in front of the whole waiting room! So very unprofessional, and I'd assume against HIPPA since he shouted out the child's insurance provider. If you want to avoid getting belittled and embarrassed b dentist this place is NOT it.

I met Dr. Kalna and his hygienist/girlfriend, Brandy, when they shared office space with another local dentist. I previously had a lot of bad dental care from the other dentist. Two failed root canals and subsequent infections, caused me to ask that the tooth be removed. Unknown to me, Dr. Kalna had been cleaning up for this dentist for a few months, and was very angry about it. He was also the only one if the two who pulled teeth. Dr. Kalna's attitude and body language were very angry. He complained about the other dentist right in front of me. His anger scared me so much, that I shook like a leaf, even when he was in the next room. The tooth was very hard to pull out. I believe the rod was still in it, though I don't know if that made any difference. He pulled with great force and aggression. All of a sudden, I heard a horrible crunching sound. He had gotten the first tooth out, but had demolished the one in front of it, in the process. He actually offered to do a root canal on that one - after removing a tooth that was bad from two FAILED root canals! I told him to just finish removing it. In the end, he paid for me to get a partial in that spot, and my smile is less than it could be. The sadder part if this is, Dr. Kalna is actually a gifted dentist. He can shape and mold a tooth like an artist. His anger and impatience are what ruin things for him.

They are all very wonderful. The receptionist is great. I can't believe the low ratings. Must be super picky people or just can't be satisfied. I drive an hour and a half just to come here. Dr. Kalna is amazing so is his hygienist Nicole.

I can't imagine the low rating that northern country dental gets on Google. Everyone was amazing there! I had a painful tooth and a lot of anxiety over it, and it turned out to be needless worry. Never felt the needle to numb it, and never felt the removal of the cavity, and before you know it I was on my way, and even the next day my tooth didn't feel bad. My hats off to the hygienist, the office people, and doctors at NCD... just an amazing, and painless experience thank you.

I haven't been to the dentist in quite a few years. It brings me terrible anxiety. Even cleanings. Today Brigette cleaned my teeth. She was so gentle that it didn't hurt at all. In fact, I almost feel asleep!

My time there was very pleasant and easy. I had an abcessed tooth that was taken care of painlessly which was a wonderful and non-expected experiance.

I will never go there again. To start with they told me when i got there that my two children could not wait in the waiting room and had to wait out on the street. This was cause of covid. My children with mask on cant wait in the waiting room cause of a covid risk but of the 5 or 6 ppl working in this office only the receptionist had a mask on. Then the dentist tells me that i have an infection and gives me a prescription. He didn't even look in my mouth. And I have been on a antibiotic for over 2 weeks for a tick bite. then as I am leaving the Dr is cursing out a nurse or assistant right in front of me telling her to just leave. I dont know how this place can even stay open with this level of professionalism.
