Dr Jessica Allen and her surgical assistant Renee are amazing. They prioritized my physical and emotional comfort both before placing my implant and throughout the procedure. They are excellent professionally. They are also relatable and real, and they made the experience actually fun. Okay, maybe that was the nitrous, but I highly recommend Dr Allen and her team.

Dear Jessica Allen- updated review per your response below. I have a degree in health law and no hipaa does not require paperwork to be done weeks in advance. Stop lying. Oh I love your HIPAA excuse below. In addition no other periodontist in fort collins requires untold paperwork done weeks in advance, hate to tell you including Merill's office. I also have a degree in health law so I know your excuse is trash. I did it last minute 15 minutes before her visit. Your office manager is a terrible lady and so is your secretary. One star!!!! They scheduled me Aug 2nd and I waited months with a hurting gumline. They canceled a week before my appointment saying I did not get them the paperwork or xrays a week ahead of time (which they did not tell me to get it in by x days before the appt). What they did is this: they said last minute that if I was serious I had one hour to get them the xrays and documents they wanted. You lost cold hard cash. I pay with cash only. You would have made money on the appointment, xrays and maybe other things too. But no.. you get one star. Thank goodness that right after, I had scheduled with another periodontist in Ft Collins my appointment is actually soon with her. I am ahead of the games!!!! This one has a bad secretary and office manager - brick wall type. Hopefully more people will leave bad reviews if they deserve it.

Gabby did an amazing job with my cleaning. She was gentle in the areas I had a lot of sensitivity and went over the top to make me feel comfortable. She even used warm water to minimize the cold sensitivity I get. Thank you!

A great gum graft final follow-up. Thanks Dr. Allen. And special thanks to Gobby (?) my hygienist.

NoCo Perio's hygienist Gabby is a delight to spend time with, and her knowledge of proper dental care is impressive. I know I can trust Gabby's advice regarding keeping my home-care up to date. My teeth and gums are in noticeably better shape than they were when I arrived in Colorado in 2020, and I know Gabby's skills have been a major contributor to that.

I had to have some gum grafting done, something I have had done previously with a different doctor. My experience this time was much better than the first. Doctor Allen and her team made sure I was all numbed up during the procedure and then covered the grafts with a putty-like substance. This helped substantially keep the pain levels down. I took 2, 200mg Ibuprofen 4 times the first day, worked my way down to 3 times a day for a few days, and then just twice a day for week or so. The "bandages" stayed on until my follow up when the stiches were moved. The gums look and feel good, so I'm happy with my experience at Northern Colorado Periodontics.

Update Jessica Allen dismissed me from her practice after I wrote the below review She contacted me just days before a scheduled surgery She actually sent me a letter. This is my letter to her Dear Jessica, I received your letter of dismissal and, to say the least, I am quite disappointed. Online performance reviews exist to both give credit for outstanding service or to warn potential customers of poor service. I was merely letting potential customers know that the service you provided was inadequate. By your statements, it seems that you feel any unsatisfactory review is either fair or malicious. Certainly, if you provide a service worth 1 on a 1- to -5 scale you cannot expect the customer to lie or not report it. A review merely levels the playing field for the customer. This is virtually the only way a potential customer can decide where to spend their hard earned money. It is fair to report poor service. Finally, I may not understand the meaning of the Hippocratic oath, but I thought it suggested that a doctor cannot refuse to provide service to someone in need. It is completely unethical of you to "fire" your patients, merely because they honestly report bad service. I do not expect, nor do I care for, another response. I just hope that the next time you work on a patient you realize that they have the ability and responsibility to report bad service. By the wY, no one has provided me with my dental records as you claim. I have requested them via Dr Ang Lee's office, and I hope you will honor this request Janice Dr Allen doesn't spend much time with her patients at all. She wasn't very caring at all. Her staff was good. I just felt she was setting me up to spend money for her services

I have a lot of anxiety around dental work. Dr Schumacher was patient and understanding. He suggested sedation for my tissue grafting surgery. The staff & Dr Schumacher made the procedure as pleasant as possible. This was my second procedure there and I will definitely go back if I need further treatment. It is a 4 hour trip for me so that should tell you how well I was treated.

Not affordable at all...$2000 per tooth is not affordable to anyone especially a single mom. I left in tears with no hope of ever getting my gums fixed. Was a waste of my time and hard earned money $316 for a bunch of X-rays I can't reuse. Not to mention the gas I spent on the hour drive there:(
