Dr. Hodges is a volunteer practitioner for several non-profit organizations that provide free dental services to the underprivileged. Dr. Hodges has been active in charity dental work since he was in dental school. He has continued and expanded his charitable activities since he started in practice.
Dr. Hodges will help with emergency dental care for local residents referred to by Helping Hands, a charity that provides food, medical services, and shelter to the needy. They are also part of R.A.W. (Rebuilding Americas Warriors), a non-profit foundation for wounded and disfigured servicemen.
Dr. Hodges performs charity dental services for the less fortunate in the East Dallas area who would not otherwise have access to adequate dental care. He is part of a team of practitioners who participate at a special event known as Dentistry with a Heart. He has also been a volunteer practitioner on charity dental mission teams since 2000. On these teams, he has serviced the underprivileged in the local community and in remote areas of Mexico and Guatemala
Dr. Hodges has been practicing periodontics since 2003. His patient treatment philosophy is to provide the most optimal care possible, utilizing the most advanced techniques in a personal and caring environment.
Dr. Hodges graduated from Rockwall High School in 1992, attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996, receiving his Doctor of Dentistry from Texas A&M Baylor Dental School in 2000. He received his specialty degree in Periodontics in 2003 from Texas A&M Baylor Dental School. Dr. Hodges and his wife of 17 years live in Rockwall and are very active members of the community.

More than a dentist, Dr. Hodges has had three years of additional training in periodontics. He is highly regarding by patients and peers alike for his expertise in this area. He remains committed to dental education to stay abreast of the latest technologies and training in current methods used in the periodontal field. Dr. Hodges is passionate about being a periodontist, as it allows him to have a truly significant impact on peoples lives in a unique way. People entrust me with helping them keep their mouth and smile healthy, Dr. Hodges.
Dr. Hodges can expertly rebuild a patients smile through the most advanced implant procedures, as well as improve their oral health with periodontal treatment. On a good day we are helping improve smiles; on a great day we are helping to improve LIVES.
As a vital member of the community, Dr. Hodges also frequently performs charity dental services both locally and in Dallas, for veterans and the less fortunate. As part of a team of practitioners, known as Dentistry with a Heart, he provides dental care to those who otherwise would not have access toadequate dental care. Dr. Hodges is also the Chairman of the Board of the Rockwall County Salvation Army.
I was born and raised in Paris, Texas. I started my dental career in 2007 as a dental assistant, then wanting to advance my career in a field I fell in love with I became a hygienist in 2011. After working nine years in general practice the opportunity became available and I was blessed to begin working with the amazing team here. I look forward to helping our patients accomplish their goals and provide the highest standard of care. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jared and son, Ty. We live on a ranchette half way between Paris and Rockwall that provides hours of endless fun, adventure and at times a lot of hard work.
My name is Angela and we moved to the Paris area 3 years ago. We love the kind people here and beautiful scenery all around. I graduated from the University of Texas School Of Dentistry Dental Hygiene program in Houston in 2006. I enjoy helping my patients have a healthy mouth and smile. Im married to Sam and we have four sweet kids. In my spare time I like the outdoors, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you!
I joined the team here at NTPS 3 years ago and I am privileged to be one of the first people to welcome you to our office. My mission is to put every patient at ease from their first visit through scheduling procedures and making sure our flexible financial options are explained. I worked for several years in the medical field before coming to work with Dr. Hodges and Dr. Sheppard. My husband and I came to Rockwall 11 years ago and have raised our 2 boys here. I am an active member of LakePointe Church where I help as a Mentoring Mom.
In 2017, I joined Dr. Hodges team at Northeast Texas Periodontal Specialists and am delegated with providing Perioscopy in the Rockwall, Paris and Fort Worth locations. Through Dr. Hodges Dental Study Club, I have had the pleasure to provide continuing education courses on Perioscopy to hundreds of other dental professionals introducing them to periodontal endoscopy and its benefits for my patients. Outside of dentistry, I love to spend time with my family. My wife, Michelle, is currently working in Wylie ISD. Our two children, Seth (14), Blake (6) keep us very busy with various activities. I am a Basic Life Support, Adult/Child/Infant CPR, Basic First Aid and Epinephrine Administration Certified Instructor through the American Safety and Health Institute and provide certifications to healthcare professionals and laypersons throughout Texas.
After growing up in Tyler Texas, Sandy moved to the Rockwall area in 2016. She has been working in dentistry for 35 years and has been with our practice for 4 years. Sandy loves to build a trusting relationship with her patients and educate them on their dental health. On the weekends, you can find her living life to the fullest while traveling, camping and exploring with her husband. Her golden doodle and family brings her so much happiness while keeping her busy when she is not with her wonderful periodontal team. Embrace uncertainty. Dr Hodges and his staff replaced an implant that that I had done in FL that needed to be replaced due to complications. I appreciated his honesty and integrity during the entire process. He and his staff are the greatest!

I see Dr. Hodges in his Paris clinic. Dr. Hodges and his staff are friendly but professional. I have gone to him for a number of years and have not one complaint. I travel 80 miles to his clinic because of the care I receive. I appreciate his professional manner and the fact that he listens and takes the time needed. My husband is in the medical profession (retired) and I do recognize skilled and quality care.

Dr. Hodges was recommended to me by three different dentists to perform surgery to implant two molars for me. After the consolation I felt that doctor Hodges could perform this somewhat of a complicated surgery as my jaw had withered and bone grafting was necessary with the greatest of ease. After the surgery and recovery period I have never felt better. I recommend Dr. Hodges to all.

I was concerned about periodontal treatment but Dr. Hodges is very personable and communicated very well with me during my consultation. He thoroughly examined my gums to develop a procedural plan, fully explaining the procedure and follow-up visits to ensure proper healing. He patiently answered all my questions which made me feel more confident. In addition, his staff members are exceptional. I am very glad I was referred to his practice.

Dr. Hodges was experienced, professional and very caring to me during my procedure. His staff was friendly and attentive. I was greeted by name at every appointment and never had to wait more than a few minutes before being called. I received wonderful care and have had no issues with my procedure. I've been going to Dr Nathan Hodges for years and have had nothing but a great experience. Everyone in the office is compassionate about what you're going through and is there to help in any way. Dr Hodges has always been just a phone call away if need be. Probably one of those most comforting things he does is explain everything he's doing while he's doing it. That's most important because in that situation you are always nervous. He asks during the procedure if you are doing ok and to let him know if any discomfort. I have recommended Dr Hodges to family and friends and will continue to do so.

Considerate, competent, caring, and compassionate. These are just a few of the words I could use to describe Dr. Sheppard and the staff at this office. I was a bit concerned about my procedure, needless to say, but they all made me feel at ease and totally comfortable. Also sending home with me a a bag of foods to eat after the procedure was also a real surprise, but a truly welcome one. Really recommend this office!!

Dr. Hodges explained the entire procedure for my dental implant very clearly. The procedure went smoothly and healing was right on target. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a dental implant.

I went in for a cleaning and was very happy with my results. I am not a fan of going to a dentist but Alecia made the experience comfortable for me and did a great job. This office is clean and the staff there are all friendly.

Awesome experience! Dr Hodges, his assistant Sandy and office Staff are amazing! Dr Hodges did an amazing and painless job. He is kind and very attentive. The office is organized and timely with submitting insurance claims . I can't say enough good things about NT Periodontal specialist! I have been raving about their office since I left ! Definitely a five +++ experience!

Dr Hodges and his team fits that bill and stands ready to effectively deal with whatever problems we present. I can not recommend he or his staff more highly. Dr. Nathan Hodges and his staff are professional and caring. I have never felt more comfortable in any dental office. As soon as Dr. Hodges began working on my crown I knew I was going to get treated with the utmost care. From beginning to end everything I needed to know was explained. Dr. Hodges did an awesome job. We scheduled an after hours emergency visit (major bonus points for that). My pain from an abscessed tooth was indescribable. When I came in Nathan immediately knew the troubled area, as my cheek was pretty swollen. He discussed my options with me first. I choose the option of going through some pain, to not feel any more pain. He went to work on me. He was able to lance my gums and drain the infection. I'm sure there is a medical term for what I just described that I don't know. While a painful procedure, he was certain to check my pain levels and continued to adjust my anesthesia accordingly. He successfully took the pain away. What a relief. While I would love to never have to visit again.....I know it will be Dr. Hodges I choose to go and see again if needed.
