Our dental assistants aretrained and certified by the Maine Board of Dental Examiners. They will be with you during treatment procedures to help Dr. Reidy administer the best care possible. They are a wonderful resource for answering many of your specific treatment questions.
Our entire staff takes continuing education courses yearly to stay current on the most recent changes in periodontal treatment advancements and procedures. Our office has a strong commitment to providing state of the art care to all of our patients. We are all currently certified in CPR and have a heart safe facility.
Laura Reidy, D.M.D. has been in practice since 1987. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College. She graduated with her Dental Degree and subsequently a Certificate for Graduate Training in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Reidy specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases as well as, implant dentistry. During the past few years, she has focused on the implementation of the newest techniques involving periodontal regeneration techniques and dental implants.
Dr. Reidys professional affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, International Association for Dental Research, Maine Society of Periodontology, and the Penobscot Valley Dental Society. She is also very active in the local community, she donates dental services and volunteers with United Cerebral Palsy of Maine.
