My son is getting two implants there. His regular dentist said he only needed one but they showed why he needed another. Would save him from other problems down the road! Old job!

I had a tooth pulled here and it was so quick and easy. Dr. Salas is the most awesome Tool fan! If we hadn't been talking about our mutual love for Maynard, it probably would have been the fastest dentist appointment ever. Completely painless, he made me feel really comfortable and it was my first actually pleasant experience with an oral surgeon!

I'm not going to say that I look forward to dental work, that'd be insane. That said, when I needed some work done Dr Cuomo and Dr Salas came highly recommended. Having worked with them the past few months, I can see why. Dr Salas and the staff are all professional and personable. They follow up after dental work is done and even made time for me to come back in to see him when I had concerns about how my mouth was feeling.

My daughter had her 2 bottom wisdom teeth taken out on Monday , horrible experience for her! Dr.Cuomo didn't explain anything to her about what to expect , she had IV sedation but could feel everything they were doing and it hurt ! She said she was moaning and kept opening her eyes because she was in pain , not because she was nervous ( which they didn't think she'd be nervous .. who wouldn't be?) when I was brought back to her she was crying because of how she was treated . I had to ask to speak to the dr and he basically made me feel like I was bothering him . He didn't come in and tell us how everything went or anything . His assistants gave a quick post care rundown and pretty much ignored us. Drs first words to me were " why didn't we take out all four ?" It was never discussed about all four but for some reason his office thought she was getting all four out. His bedside manner sucks and we will never return and will not recommend to anyone !

My experience with Dr. Salas and his team went amazing. I would recommend him and his team to anyone that is looking for a pain free and smooth oral surgery journey. Dr. Salas not only made me feel like a person rather than a dollar sign, his work was very clean and allowed a quick recovery. Before surgery with Dr. Salas, the pain I was experiencing in my jaw was so intense I was barely able to speak a sentence. Soon after the surgery I was like brand new and my horrible jaw pain was officially gone for good. Dr. Salas does amazing work and the attention and care he gives all his patients exceeded my expectations tremendously. I would give Dr.Salas and his team 6 stars if I could. :)

I had an inflammation and needed a tooth extraction. First, I had to go to a consultation and only a week later had my wisdom tooth extracted. Yet Dr. S. was thoughtful and personable; all the personnel was helpful, polite , and friendly, as well. Thank you for your expertise and compassion!

Dr. Miller is the best oral surgeon I have ever been too. I'm in the process of getting a implant. Him and his staff made every procedure smooth and comfortable. When I got my implant I was very nervous but dr. Miller and his staff made the procedure smooth and did everything they could to make me comfortable. I was in and out with no problems. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him to anyone. 5 stars.

My son saw Dr Julia Abend for an extraction. He has special needs, so typically finding a doctor who understands can be a challenge. Dr. Abend was absolutely wonderful! She made him feel so comfortable and explained everything before proceeding. She is professional, understanding and performed the procedure perfectly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Abend and all of the staff at Northeast implant and oral surgery to anyone! Thank you again for taking great care of my son.

Dr. Salas and the assistants were great when my daughter got her wisdom teeth extracted. I've also taken my other daughter here for another procedure done by Dr. Cuomo and they were great too. These drs. explained everything and were willing to answer any question I had. They made my daughters feel comfortable and the healing process went very well. Thankful for this office!

I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Salas. I was impressed by the consultation, as my x-rays were displayed on a television screen. Looking at the screen, Dr. Salas was able to describe why I needed the oral surgery as well as how he was going to extract the teeth. This put me at ease as I was able to understand not only why I needed the procedure, but how it was going to work. The procedure was painless, as I was first given laughing gas, and then anesthesia. I would recommend Dr. Salas to anyone, as my experience was easy and trouble-free.

We had a very happy experience with Dr. Richard Salas of Northeast Oral surgery at the Carmel office. Our son is autistic and he gets hyper when he has to go to the doctors or dentist. We too as parents were deeply concerned. He had to have two good molars removed because they were growing in the wrong direction. Dr. Salas greeted us with our son in the chair. We explained the situation and he understood right away. He told us and my son what he would do and how he would make it painless. He went through the process and said if any problems arose at any time he would stop the procedure and continue at a later date at the hospital with my son under complete sedation and safety. We agreed and the procedure went off great at his office. The nurses kept us informed all through the process and my son came through with a smile on his face. We could not have been happier for him. I would refer D. Salas to any one with children with handicaps of any sort. Dr. Salas was very kind and smiling and professional. The procedure took a very short time considering two extractions. He stitched the upper and lower gums with dissolving stitches. Our son showed no signs of pain afterwards and was very happy it was so easy for him. He was completely relaxed afterwards and all he could do is talk about how he went through it like a hero. As he is to us. Thank you doctor for your work and your patience and to your staff at Northeast who were all kind and professional. If your child has challenges and has a dental problem I strongly suggest Dr. Salas.
