Dr. Roger D. Robinson attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where upon graduation in 1986 he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology. Roger then entered the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant where he spent the next six years of service as a Software Engineer developing C3 (Communications, Command and Control) systems. He then entered the civilian arena participating in the development of satellite imaging and flight control software for several commercial and military programs.

Feeling a deep inner calling to endeavor into the health professions, Roger began a career transition that led him to the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky from 1999 to 2003. Upon graduation at the top of his dental school class, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 2003.

Dr. Robinson then began his specialty training in Periodontology at Kentucky, where he completed his Masters in Science and Certificate in Periodontology in June 2006. Dr. Robinson served as Chief Resident of Periodontology during his third year of residency. He has an indepth knowledge of regenerative surgical techniques which include hard and soft tissue grafting techniques for implant site development. Furthermore, Dr. Robinson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

He has membership in the following organizations: American Academy of Periodontology, Florida Association of Periodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association (Past President 2014-2015) and the Jacksonville Dental Society. Dr. Robinson also currently serves as Chairman of the River City Forum Study Club for a local group of dentists in the greater Jacksonville area.

Miriam has been a part of our team since 2006, her 30+ years in the dental field includes experience as a business assistant, insurance coordinator, financial coordinator, and office manager and as a dental assistant chair side. Miriam oversees all the insurance and financial matters of the practice as well as being the Office Manager. Outside of the office Miriam enjoys spending time with her husband Lee and all of their extended family (which includes 35 grandnieces & grandnephews!). She is active in her church choir and finds pleasure in participating in the many outreach activities of her church. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting and tending their yard.

Teresa graduated from Concorde Career Institute Tampa at the beginning of 2016 and joined our family by the end of that same year. As one of Dr. Robinson's amazing surgical assistants, she can be found by your side during your procedures making sure your procedures go as smoothly and a comfortably as possible. Teresa spends her weekends either relaxing with her two pups, or at a concert singing along to her favorite bands.

Allison graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2015 for dental assisting. After working for a pedodontist, she became a part of our family in 2018. As our sterilization tech, Allison is often an unseen member of our team, but serves a vital role in keeping our practice running as smooth as possible. Outside of the office, Allison enjoys spending time with family, friends, and pets. Shell never turn down a good movie night after a day working in her yard.

Carlie graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville, Dental Assisting program in November 2020 and she has been working with us since that time. As a surgical assistant to Dr. Robinson, Carlie will meet you at your new patient exam and will be by your side through treatment. Carlie enjoys meeting everyone and being able to help them relax during procedures. Outside the office Carlie enjoys spending time adventuring outdoors with her fianc William and their dogs.

Sarah has been working for the office since 2019 but only recently became office assistant. She also handles all of the social media and the website. She is the first face you'll see when you enter the office. She is currently striving for a degree in international business and or marketing. She enjoys being active and is passionate about fitness, hence her twelve-year background in dance. A perfect day for Sarah is being outside with a good book.
