Dr. Keyhani is a graduate of the Ohio State University where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree. Dr. Keyhani went on to medical school at the Ohio State University. He then received his Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary which is ranked in the top ten best hospitals for disorders of the eye, ear, nose and throat. Dr. Keyhani then went on to complete two fellowships in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Vermont and the University of Calgary. Dr. Keyhani enjoys traveling abroad doing medical missions and has been to the Philippines and Haiti several times. Dr. Keyhani resides in Somers New York with his wife and two children.
Dr. Kayvan Keyhani is a board certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in small incision cataract surgery and eyelid plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and teaches the residents both cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. He is a three-time award winner of the prestigious residents teaching award given to the most outstanding surgical professor.
Dr. Keely is a certified optometrist who graduated from the prestigious SUNY State College of Optometry. She has expertise in ocular disease diagnosis and treatment including glaucoma, adult and pediatric eye examinations, and contact lens fittings. She has been in practice for over 20 years. She resides in Pound Ridge with her husband and 2 children.
Dr. Newton graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. His medical training at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston was followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and a fellowship in corneal surgery and external eye disease in Los Angeles. In mid-career Dr. Newton earned the Liberal Studies Masters Degree in Medical Ethics at the City University of New York, after which he served on the Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Ethics Committee. [His contributions to the medical ethics literature include the book, Without Your Consent: The Hijacking of American Health Care.]
Dr. Newton is Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, and has admitting privileges at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has been listed in New York Magazine Best Doctors issues, New York Super Doctors, and annually in the Castle-Connolly guide New Yorks Top Doctors.
Dr. Newton offers routine eye exams and comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. His areas of special interest include eye infections, dry eye, contact lens complications, recurrent erosions, herpetic eye disease, inflammatory and allergic issues, and ocular problems related to general medical conditions.
Dr. Wenthen completed his undergraduate studies at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where he graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Biology. He went on to SUNY State College of Optometry, where he completed clinical internships at New York Vision Group in Manhattan, Northport VA Medical Center, and SUNYs University Eye Center. Dr. Wenthen is experienced in general optometry for both adults and pediatric patients as well as ocular disease and contact lens fitting. Dr. Wenthen resides in Amawalk with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, and playing the piano.
