Dr. Michael Cabral and Dr. Stephanie Pouzol met while attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Although they each have specific interests within the field of dentistry, they share the same desire to deliver comprehensive care in the greatest amount of comfort.
Elimination of fear, pain, and feelings of neglect is the number one priority as it is their objective to give patients a dental home where they feel comfortable and in control of their dental treatment. Dr. Cabral and Dr. Pouzol believe in educating each patient about the importance of preventive care.
Their welcoming nature and desire to treat patients of all ages and abilities makes them a unique team. Their sincere belief is that everyone deserves a dental visit catered exactly to them. Patients will be treated like family and time will always be taken to explain recommendations.
Dr. Stephanie Pouzol was born and raised in Orrington, Maine. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stonehill College with a focus on healthcare administration and then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to earn her DMD degree.
In 2016, the Tufts University Alumni Committee presented Dr. Pouzol with the 'Award for Clinical Excellence in Geriatric Dentistry' for her above-and-beyond approach to caring for her elderly patients.
She completed a General Practice Residency at Penobscot Community Health Center (PCHC) and then accepted the position of Associate Dentist upon graduating. She worked there until starting Northeast Dental Partners.
She has a strong interest in prosthodontics and preventive care. She is also involved with community and outreach programs. She has worked with the special needs population in an operating room setting at Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC). She provides on-site dental care to the men and women of the Army Air National Guard in Bangor, and she also works at the Brewer Community School, treating students ranging from kindergarten to the eighth grades. Stephanie also participates in continuing education and has received credentialing in both Invisalign as well as nitrous oxide sedation.
Dr. Michael Cabral grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College and then continued his studies at Columbia University in the City of New York where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering with a focus in biomechanics. He received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Michael completed a general practice residency at Penobscot Community Health Center (PCHC) and then continued treating his patients there as an Associate Dentist until starting Northeast Dental Partners.
In 2016 Michael was awarded the 'Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics Award' sponsored by WhipMix, in honor of the American dentist and mechanical engineer Rudolph L. Hanau. Michael is a certified Invisalign provider, he is credentialed at Eastern Maine Medical Center for full-mouth rehabilitation, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP).
Dr. Cabral is a firm believer in the positive role healthcare providers play and is committed to teaching all of his patients to advocate for their own health dental and otherwise. In his free time, he enjoys playing the ukulele, surfing, boating, water skiing, and snowboarding.

I could not be happier with this dental office. I have waited almost 10 years to find a dentist for my 31 year old handicapped daughter. They were so kind and listened to the best way to make my daughter comfortable. After making her comfortable and me comfortable they did the best dental work. They did what was necessary. And her smile is so clean and beautiful. Five stars is not enough for this dental practice and for everyone who is affiliated with it. Including the hospital the nurses, the dentist, the anesthesiologist, the recovery nurses everyone we came in contact with was truly kind and amazing!

Professional happy kind staff!! Kim is a very skilled hygienist with a kind demeanor and fun personality. Dr Cabral was so professional and respectfully listened to me, offered options, and fixed one little problem quickly. I am so happy to have found this practice!

Very professional, very clean! The office staff, hygienists and doctor were all fantastic. I love that they have new equipment, as opposed to most of the dentists in the area. My husband, Mother-in-law and I all go to them now. At the risk of sounding derogatory, if my mother-in-law likes them, and they keep letting her come back....you know they have to be patient and understanding. Parking lot access is good and the waiting room is large enough for social distancing.

The office was very clean and light, and the staff were both professional and very friendly. Everything seemed very organized and there was a good feeling to the office. I left with a smile which says alot when leaving any dentist!

This husband and wife team are great dentists who will go through every option for treatment. My wife had extensive work done in 2021 with partial plates etc. They went above and beyond to ensure she was happy. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. I've come to judge the competency of a dentist's office by their dental hygienists. This office has some of the best I've ever come across. They're very thorough, explain exactly what they're doing every step of the way, and are able to answer questions and give good advice about general dental care. The rest of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Northeast Dental Partners

Great experience! I brought my kid in for a cleaning and he was a littler nervous but Kim, the hygienist, was so nice and didn't mind my child asking questions every two seconds haha. Kim explained everything with patience! Dr. Mark (Marcus? I don't remember ha) was super nice as well and informative!

I usually don't like going to the Dentist, as probably many others might feel. But this clinic is absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and always make you feel like you can relax. An if you are scared of needles in the mouth like I am, then there is absolutely nothing to fear with going here. I have not once felt the sting from the needles. Highly Recommend!
