Joseph S. Spades, DDS started his dental career at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as an Undergraduate. After attending dental school at the University of Tennessee, he became an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.Dr. Spades is also proud to be affiliated with the American Orthodontic Society, the Arkansas State University Sports Medicine Group, and the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce.
Following Dr. Spades' lead, our entire dental team is committed to advancing our education and professional affiliations. We attend a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Our team consists of insurance and billing specialists, treatment coordinators, dental assistants, and dental hygienists with a combined experience of 60 years. They all work together with a spirit of professionalism, efficiency, and compassion to provide exceptional dental care consistently.
Our collective years of experience and diverse backgrounds make us an asset to our patients. We have the skills and know the techniques that are essential to your dental health. At the same time, we still focus on family values, integrity, and respect mixed with a little fun to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

Came here an set up appointment. Came in at 830 got X-rays done an was told to come back next Wednesday. At the front desk talking about what needed to be done an how much everything was going to cost before I left I had even mentioned I'll see them Wednesday at 9 am an then left. At 4 pm I get a message saying I was supposed to be there at 2 an that I basically can never go back for the rest of my life. On the phone with the staff afterwards was like well back in 2017 you missed appointments an we will not be making future appointments. Treated horrible over the appointment date not being clear at all. before I left I even said so I'll be back Wednesday at ???? an double checked my card after being side eyed an basically ignored by the blonde at the front counter. As if it was on purpose. An for future reference DONT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE TRASH when it's not there fault bc they didn't even know they had an appointment that afternoon or I would've been there I had just been there to make the earliest appointment I could. Just to not make it? Makes zero sense. Was treated like less of a human by these people from them not being clear about my next appointment. An I got the blame. Do not recommend going here you'll just be made fun of after you leave. Grow up.

Dr. Joe Spades is the best! He takes time to explain everything and he truly cares about giving you the best care possible. Chelsea is amazing, too! From the minute I was seated she made me feel so comfortable! She pays close attention to detail and made sure I was treated well the entire time! I can't recommend them enough!

I'm so pleased with my experience at Northeast Arkansas Dentistry! After calling quite a few dentist, I was thankful to get an appointment scheduled fairly quickly to have some teeth checked out and cleaned. The dental high genist Meghan was so kind and I felt at ease as she thoroughly cleaned and checked over my teeth. The atmosphere of the dentist appointment rooms where comfortable and pleasant as I waited for the doctor. I definitely will be recommending this dentist to others. Thank you for such a pleasant experience yall!

I had some teeth extracted and was an absolute nervous wreck! Dr. Spade and his staff were absolutely delightful and made sure I was 100% comfortable with everything they did. They were great and going over and explaining what was going to happen. It was one of the absolute BEST DENTAL experiences I have ever had! Thank you so much for that!

All you need to know about Dr. Spades and his staff is that they know their stuff and they care. Earlier this week, I had a difficult surgical extraction of #17 (as far back in my mouth as you can get). Dr. Spades and April showed their extrodinary skills and patience in dealing with a stubborn molar. I would not hesitate to recommend them for all of your dental needs. Thank y'all so much!

Absolutely amazing place. It was my 1st time visiting I was needing a root canal done, and (Jordan)is jus awesome. She made me feel right at home, Dr. Spades made sure I was comfortable, made sure I wasn In any pain, told me to ask questions. This place is neat,clean,& waited no time. I most definitely will be returning to get my crown over my root canal. These people are just fantastic.

Dr. Spades is awesome. I have yet to experience a long wait or any pain. Chelsea even made sure my glasses were clean before I left. Great service.
