At an adult dental practice, amenities like coffee in the waiting room, warm facial towels, and iPods in the operatories sounds great but kids just want to have fun. At Northampton Pediatric Dentistry, we work hard every day to give kids a fun place to learn about oral health that they look forward to visiting. From games and toys in the waiting rooms to a dentist and team who are dedicated to making oral health fun. We love to see your child laugh, smile, and learn to love the dentist.

Patients at any age have unique dental care needs, and this is especially true with kids. We offer children of all ages the care they need, but we also have extensive training in treating children with diverse cognitive and physical health needs. If you have questions about unique behavioral or medical conditions your children may have and how that affects dental care, we are happy to answer questions and speak with you and your kids.

We are dedicated to offering children safe, comfortable dental services. In some cases, our gentle care and local anesthesia is enough to keep kids pain-free and relaxed, but for more advanced procedures, children who have impaired cognitive or physical abilities, or those who do experience dental fear, additional sedation may be the safest way to care for your child. We offer mild nitrous oxide sedation in our office, and we work with nearby hospitals to provide sleep dentistry (general anesthesia) in a safe environment.

NPD has a beautiful, welcoming, convenient office in Greenfield. All the staff are super friendly. We have been in for many appointments, and all of the hygienists and doctors have been great with our girls. We have even been able to be on wait lists for appointments and get in earlier than anticipated which has been great. We trust their team of friendly, knowledgeable staff to oversee and take care of our kids' dental health.

Both of my daughters are new patients and the staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive. Both the Dental Hygienists and Dr. Tremblay updated me on their teeth and made recommendations along with a referral for wisdom teeth extraction to an oral surgeon who takes our insurance. The office was clean and proper sanitizing was observed. Thanks!!!

From the waiting room to seeing the hygienists and the drs, we have been very happy with the practice. They are great with the kids. In a recent visit, my son really struggled with getting x-rays and the hygienist was super patient and found a really creative way to get them done. I highly recommend them!

My 9 year old had a hard time with his appointment, but the staff were patient and kind. We rescheduled to try again after practicing at home. Our next appointment went beautifully and we couldn't be happier.

My boys love going to Northamton Pediatric Dentistry. Today, my 7 year old had to have work done and Savannah was extrememly patient and kind. Everyone is so friendly and my 5 year old actually laughs and tells jokes the whole time. "What time do you go to the dentist?... 2:30 (Tooth-Hurty)." HaHa.

Had a fabulous hygienist ( I wish I could remember her name) so that is why I'm giving two stars. If I was rating her I would give 5, but my experiences with my son's dentist have been mediocre or disappointing. She was rushed, seemed inconvenienced that my son didn't want her shoving a brush full of fluoride paste in his mouth when she didn't explain what she was doing and truthfully she didn't really seem to know how to interact with children. Thankfully, the hygienist explained what the fluoride was and why he was getting it and then my son agreed to get it no problem. They also wouldn't let me schedule an afternoon appointment because he is 4 it needs to be in the morning so he has to therefore miss preschool.
