With almost thirty years in practice in Vacaville, Dr. Pedersen has the experience andthe knowledge to handle your dental needs. He was born and raised in Utah. After completing a degree at Brigham Young University, Dr. Pedersen went on to obtain his dental degree from the University of Washington. Upon receivinghis DDS, Dr. Pedersen completed an optional residency program at the University of California, San Francisco, which focusedon advanced oral surgical procedures and treatment of medically complex patients. Following his residency Dr. Pedersen and his wife fell in love with Vacavilleand decided to open a small practice in the town where they would eventuallyraise their five children. Since 1988 Dr. Pedersen has faithfully served the community and his patients here in Vacaville.
Dr. Youngberg is aNorthern California native. After spending two years living in Guatemala, he returned to the U.S. tocompletea business management degree at Brigham Young University, which is where he met and married his wife. Dr. Youngberg thenreceivedhis DDS from the University of California, San Francisco. After UCSFhe completed aHospitalbased residency program at the prestigiousBirmingham, Alabama Veterans Administration Hospital. On top of caring for some of America's most valued hero'sthe residency program gave Dr. Youngberg extensive training in oral surgery and implant dentistry. All while working on some of the most medically complicated patients. This training allows us to offer an amazing breadth of services all under one roof.Dr. Youngberg, his wife and their4kids and their 5 chickens love living in Vacaville.

My daughter needed 2 fillings and was nervous as this was her first "big" dental procedure. The entire staff was so nice and made her feel super comfortable. Dr. Youngberg performed the procedure with his assistant Hilary. They were very understanding and walked her through each step without rushing so she knew what to expect. On the drive home she kept saying how nice he was. Thank you Dr. Youngberg for being so kind and patient!

I'm from Texas and on Friday night my crown came off. I called several places. And this was the only place that called me back, when they said that they were going to. And they got me right in. Staff and doctor were great! Thank y'all so much.

Had a tooth that was not done correctly and Dentist Mr. Youngberg did a phenomenal job and you can not tell I had work done. He is very gentle and shows great concern, making sure the tooth is perfect leaving you walking out of his office wanting to smile and show off your teeth. Thanks for a job done well:)

We have been going to Dr. Wayne Pederson, at North Valley Dental since 1999, and have always been satisfied with all procedures that have been done, from cleaning by the friendly and well trained hygienists, to dental procedures by Dr. Pederson and his assistant. No one 'likes' going to the dentist, but as an older person, I can testify that Dr. Pederson and his very able assistant team has been making tooth care painless for over 20 years for me... and I would not go anywhere else. Unlike many dentists, Dr. Pederson only recommends things you actually need... and then gives you a range of options... so you can do what you can afford and do it when you want to. Of course there are inevitable dental 'emergencies', typically a crown that may have worked loose or a tooth damaged by trying to bite through something you shouldn't or something that you didn't see until you chomped on it. I would always recommend North Valley Dental, specifically Dr. Wayne Pederson, and have done so with all my co-workers and friends. PS: He gives the medicine time to work before he starts any procedure... I have had crowns, fillings, a hemi-section, and of course regular periodic cleanings. Invest in cleaning and save your teeth and gums... and don't forget to floss, boss!
