Dr. Donald Johnson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University and completed a four-year hospital based surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been in private practice since 2002.
Dr. Johnson is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Arizona Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Johnson is an anesthesia office evaluator for the Arizona State Dental Board and was a past state delegate for the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons.

The appointment was for my wife actually. We were very pleased! The staff was very patient and kind! Dr. Johnson is personable and caring. He got her on an antibiotic and pain medication immediately and had her scheduled for a tooth abstraction within just three days! I know my wife is in great hands. North Valley Center for Oral and Implant Surgery's staff is awesome!

Loved this place! Recently had my wisdom teeth removed. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smiling face! The Doctor is comprehensive and makes you feel as relaxed as possible prior to your extraction. I will continue to recommend this center to everyone I meet.

Dr Johnson is amazing. The staff is very professional, OFFICE is extremely clean and everyone is so friendly. I have had a lot of dental work done by Dr. Johnson and he has taken excellent care of me. He is always there when you need him for any emergency, or concern. You won't be disappointed.

I visited Dr. Johnson's office for the first time and had a very nice experience. I'm a retired veterinarian with 50 years of experience in owning and operating a medical type office and they were all top notch. The staff were all very personable, knowledgeable, helpful and very soothing to a an anxious patient. (me). I know several experienced dentists who recommend this office for oral surgery and they know what it takes to perform at this level. You are in good hands with Dr. Johnson.

I haven't had any work done yet, but was left with a very good impression. Dr. Johnson took the time to answers questions I had and was thorough in his explanations. All the staff in the office were friendly, professional and helpful. I will give another review once the work is done.

The office is very nice and clean, all the staff are very warm and friendly, and Dr. Johnson is just wonderful. His chair side manner is the best. He explained everything in detail and was happy to answer any questions. He is very compassionate, understanding, engaging, and all the while smiling and cheerful. I will have no concerns about placing my 84 year old mother in his care for her oral surgery. Thank you to him and all of his capable staff.
