Dr. Johnson earned his bachelors degree in Design Engineering from Brigham Young University and his doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He then went on to pursue his specialty training at UFCD completing his periodontal residency program in 1995. Dr. Johnson graduated with honors and received numerous academic awards. He was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society and earned the University of Florida Presidential Recognition Award along with the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontology.
Dr. Johnson is actively involved in the local dental community and volunteers his time and expertise on many levels. He currently serves as an Executive Council member for the Hillsborough County Dental Association. In addition, he enjoys giving back to the community and making a difference in peoples lives. He regularly volunteers his time and services at several locations throughout the Tampa Bay area and has served abroad in various capacities providing basic dental care for patients in such places as the Dominican Republic.
On a personal level, Dr. Johnson is most proud of his family. He is happily married and has three beautiful children, two daughters and a son. He enjoys spending time with his family and is deeply immersed in little league baseball.
Dr. Sausha Toghranegar is originally from Tampa, FL where he attended the Hillsborough High School International Baccalaureate program. After high school, he began his collegiate journey at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology and minors in Nutritional Sciences and Theater. His passion for dentistry brought him to Nova Southeastern University where he obtained his doctorate. He then continued on at Nova to pursue his Masters degree and complete his periodontal residency. Dr. Sausha has received multiple honors throughout his educational career, including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society.
After his educational career, Dr. Sausha returned back to his home town to bring back the knowledge and skills he has obtained to provide the best care possible to those in his community. Dr. Sausha remains active in his educational endeavors and remains on top of the progressive trends of periodontal procedures and dental technology. He has lectured locally and nationally on minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery, accelerated orthodontics, digital dental planning, and the latest dental implant technology. With the use of digital technology and 3D printing, Dr. Sausha has been providing customized dental Implant treatment. This allows him to provide the care each patient personally needs. He has also researched and lectured on a new minimally invasive approach to speeding the movement of teeth and preventing possible gum tissue problems that can sometimes occur after having braces. Research has shown a 2-3 times faster treatment time with the use of these techniques.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sausha is an avid independent film-maker. Ever since he was in elementary school, he has been creating movie magic. He also loves following, watching, and playing sports. He passionately follows the Buccaneers, Gators, Lighting, Rays, and as of late the Rowdies. On his free time he enjoys especially enjoys traveling and exploring nature with his family and friends.

I made a huge mistake to beleive that place. I lost my health tooths with unnecessary operations. I had infection in that place. Everythink went so bad. Stay away.

Best periodontist in Tampa! I was super anxious about this procedure and getting a graft on two teeth, but Dr Johnson made me feel comfortable. His work is amazing!

Dr. Johnson is great as well as the entire staff. I had some complications, too much to explain, however the attention and treatment I received from Dr. Johnson was stellar. Wonderful office with caring people!

Over a year ago, my dentist notified me of a problem I had never heard of before, receding gums. He told me that if I took no action, over time, I could be in danger of losing teeth. Yikes! He referred me to a periodontist. My first periodontist visit was quite shocking. I was told I needed quite extensive work, all around my mouth, not just one or two areas. Then, I was told the price! I would need to trade my receding gums for a receding savings account! Quite expensive, and most dental insurance really doesn't pay much toward it. Surgery of any kind is serious, so I decided to get a second opinion, for peace of mind that I was doing the right thing. Dr. Patrick Johnson was my second opinion. He verified that the information I had been given was correct, both my surgical needs and the price. However, Dr. Johnson spent time with me explaining the process fully, answering all my questions patiently. (And I had a lot!). I just got a comfortable feeling from from both Dr. Johnson and all his associates. (CC is awesome!). They work with you, around your schedule, and when you are there, they make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Dr. Johnson was my second opinion, but he was my First Choice! I highly recommend him if you need any Periodontal services.

In April I had a bone graph done by Dr. Sausha. He did such a great job! He put my racing mind at ease by throughly explaining with would happen before, during and after the procedure. He very thorough and extremely friendly. He always make sure you know exactly what will be done, and never leaves you in the dark. Also let's not forget about the staff there too! They always greet you by name and with a warm smile. They are super friendly and actually remember who you are, so many times you go into an office only to feel like just another patient, not here. Here they chat with you, they ask you how the kids are, or if you ever got that job you had been working towards. They show a genuine care for you, and that's hard to find nowadays. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for dental work. They are 5 stars in my book!!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are amazing. The office is extremely friendly and professional. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. In addition, Dr. Johnson is very thorough and takes his time to ensure he knows very little detail of your case before he provides guidance or advice. I was very comfortable under his care.

I have always been scared to go to the dentist, but after I was referred here by my dentist for other problems with my gums, I am not scared anymore. The office staff is very cordial, and makes you feel at home from srart to finish. They are upfront about the options for treatment and how much it will cost, so no surprises at checkout. Most of all, the entire staff is caring and compassionate. You are not just another mouth. They take the time to listen to you, make you as comfortable as possible durring procedures, and are patient enough to answer your questions.
