Dr. Sara Silvestri is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and grew up in an environment immersed in both the arts and sciences. Her father is a dentist and her mother is a Suzuki violin teacher. When choosing her career she knew the arts would always play an important role, but dentistry allowed her to enhance peoples lives through their health and ultimately became her passion. She completed her undergraduate degree at Boston University and her dental degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she held many leadership positions.
When beginning her dental career, it became obvious to her that the pediatric specialty was her niche. She had experience working with children as a ballet and Suzuki violin teacher, and felt at home working with children and their families. During dental school Dr. Silvestri was chosen to participate in many outreach programs with children and special needs patients both locally and internationally.
Dr. Silvestri moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, to further her education and attended the Pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital. Here she completed her training, served as Chief Resident, and received the Temple University Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Achievement Award for displaying the most outstanding contributions to the residency program. She is also a Diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Silvestri and her husband love the outdoors and are happy to have the Pacific Northwest be their home. She looks forward to continue working with children and their families to educate and influence them in a positive light, so that they will develop lifelong healthy habits towards dentistry for their future.
My husband and I grew up in Bothell and have two adorable children. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, especially on the water. You may find me watching funny movies, going on walks with our yellow lab, and listening to country music. Two things a lot of people dont know about me my first airplane ride was at 17 years old and I have played the piano since I was 7. Im looking forward to meeting you and your family soon!
Im Jessica and I am a dental assistant here at North Star. I love working for Dr. Sara and being a part of our great team. I started in the dental field in 2012 and have been with North Star since the practice was opened. Working in pediatrics is so rewarding and I truly love what I do.
I married my husband Wes in 2016 and since then, we have welcomed our baby girl Hallie in to the world. She was born in December of 2017 and she is the light of our lives. In our free time we love spending time with our family and friends, venturing to Chelan any chance we get, and traveling to sunny places!
When I come to work each day my goal is to gain trust and a friendship with every patient I see. I have been in the dental field for over 20 years, but I have had the privilege of working as a pediatric dental assistant for over 16 years. My husband and I are a blended family with four adult children. I enjoy playing with my grandson, traveling, concerts, dancing and lip-gloss. I dislike spiders and country music.
I have been lucky to be a pediatric dental assistant since 2013. Working with kids is such a treat, every day is a new and exciting adventure. Im always looking forward to getting to know each child a little better and making their experience at the dentist a positive one.
I am a new mommy to my son Jameson, born June 2018, and he is our world. My husband and I are so in love with parenthood, we are having a lot of fun watching our son grow. In our spare time, we enjoy doing home renovations, DIY projects, wine tasting, and spending time with family and friends.
I absolutely love my job! I feel so lucky to be able to work with such incredible kids every day. I look forward to coming to work and seeing all of our amazing families. I grew up in Bothell and have a wonderful family and two adorable pups. In my free time I love making trips to Chelan, hiking and spending quality time with friends and family.

My kids will not stop talking about how awesome the dentist was today. Definitely go here! We were treated with kindness and all of the employees were friendly.

We love this dental office! The dental hygienists are so patient, kind and amazing with children and the dentist is so efficient and kind. We always have the best experience. My daughter loves the little gifts she gets in her goody bag after, it makes it worthwhile for her to come back!

My kids are always excited when we are going to North Star Dentistry. Dr.Sarah is amazing and always caring and sweet. Everyone here is super nice and knows how to treat little kids and my kids never left sad. As a mum,this is the place where i take my kids and sit back knowing they are in a good hands. Highly recommend North Star Pediatrics Dentistry!!!

Emily and the office staff are also very helpful and kind, making the whole experience as pleasant as I could hope for. Dr. Sara took amazing care of my 3 week old twins. They needed lip and tongue tie revisions and she helped me to thoroughly understand their condition and the goals of revision. I had nothing but confidence in her ability to help all of us through this procedure and they are feeding so much better now.

Dr. Sara went above and beyond to care for my newborn's tongue tie. She made me feel comfortable with the laser procedure, educated us on home care, and even called after to check on the baby! In addition, her staff was friendly, caring and very organized with insurance matters. Dr. Sara treats her patients as if they were her own children. I would highly recommend to anyone. Worth the drive, even if you are not in the area.

Both my girls have been going to see Dr Sara since 1 years old! They love it and get excited when I tell them we are going. They never make you wait and understand busy parents having to take off work to get their kids in and out! The staff are super friendly and they have different areas for kids to play during their visit. I recommend them to all my friends and family! In fact, they ARE like family!

We took my daughter here for her first dentist visit at 18 months. Every single aspect of the visit was amazing. They did so much to make her feel comfortable and there were no tears! The dental hygienist was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. Loved our first visit!

Careless doctor! Stopped checking sons teeth during exam because she without telling him or talking to him opened his mouth and he started crying. Should not be working with kids! Without waiting for the kid to clam. Just didn't do her job, plus my son showed to her which tooth bothers him and she neglected! Our first appointment was for 2pm, they called 11:45am day of appointment and canceled appointment and reschedule 10 days later! That day weather was pretty sunny and warm so they decide to take a day off!

Amazing office for kids! Took my three kiddos in for their routine dental visits, and I was impressed at every level. The office is so inviting, and so is the front office staff! We were greeted so warmly upon arriving, and the check in process was super smooth. When the kids were taken back for their visits, the assistants cleaning their teeth took their time, and were so gentle. We also LOVE the "learning lab" where the kids could visualize how much sugar is in those drinks that I never let them have! ;) Dr. Sara was so kind, and answered all of my questions. I could not recommend this office more!

We brought our twins in for a lip and tongue tie evaluation. We were consulted, given options, and operated on same day. So pleased with this office. From the front desk team, the back team, and the doctor. Amazing! I love their nautical theme and open exam area. They even have a learning lab area for kids to learn proper dental hygiene on a fun environment. Plus you can fill out all your registration forms online instead of in office. We will be coming here for many years to come!

We took our daughter here for her one-year appointment. WOW! I was so pleased to see how committed this office is in ensuring the comfort of the littlest ones!! They have an open-concept exam area that are free of walls and includes a little play area for kiddos to relax in when parents are talking to technicians. I appreciated the time that the technicians and doctor took to explain to use different things we didn't know and to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend this dentistry to all!
