My experience at this establishment was top notch! I had never been sedated before and it was just as Dr Hompesch said it would be- quick! I closed my eyes and opened them and the procedure was done! I may have been somewhat entertaining to my family on the way home as I was still a bit loopy! I have had very little pain and I was given great instructions for the after care. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Everyone who works here knows their job thoroughly, and they are all complete professionals. During my entire experience I was well taken care of. Instructions for post care were clear, understandable and easy to follow. If you need the services of an oral/facial surgeon, this is the place to go.

Don't eat the Minestrone soup after your wisdom teeth removal! Other than that, I had a smooth wisdom teeth removal. They helped when I got food stuck after the removed wisdom teeth. Gave me enough medication and well thought-out instructions.

A great experience with outstanding patient service. Everything was explained and nothing was rushed. All the staff is very friendly and they work together well. The Dr. and all the staff enjoy their work and it shows. Fairbanks is fortunate to have Dr. Hompesch in our community providing his specialized dental services. Thank you.

My experience at the office was amazing. Office staff was so nice and Dr. Was amazing. After having a tooth pulled I left feeling very good. I know a good doctor when he gives you his personal cell phone number. Would recommend this office.

Got me in within an hour for a broken tooth.. best extraction experience I have ever had. Didn't try to push treatment that wasn't going to be viable for me.. honest... great care by his staff... 10/10

Extremely professional and kind office. It has been that way for me and my kids since first visit years ago. Patient-oriented staff always. Knowledgable medically and from insurance and billing standpoint. Would recommend North Star Oral & Facial Surgery to anyone.

I've had a bad experience when I was younger with going to the dentist and have tried to avoid dentist ever since. However wisdom teeth were becoming a pain so I had to get them removed. First the staff is so sweet. One of the ladies grabbed a blanket for me (I'm from the Deep South and was freezing; not use to Alaska weather) the assistants were thorough with all the paperwork and questions and concerns. Lastly, I truly valued the options and advice on my treatment. I felt so at ease before, during and after. The only con is that I didn't find this amazing oral surgeon sooner.

Well I can say with complete faith I have found an amazing, perhaps the best?, dental place in town. Dr. Hompesch did a spectacular job where others in the past have been a bit more traumatizing with, I am stubborn with my tooth removal and thos was my 3rd. My other wisdom tooth will need removal and I know who I will be going to. Not only was Dr. Hompesch clear spoken, explaining procedure and options and after care, but he also had a calming demeanor that reflected with all of his staff. I have had a horrid history with dental, my most vivid memory being a very painful fillings as a child that made me avoid the dentist until I was desperate. Which is where I was at today. They were all very welcoming and kind, the office atmosphere was calming with nice open windows so you didn't feel shut inhaling, helping me put my nerves at ease since the dentist is a place I avoid like the plague Today dr. Hompesch office definitely set me at ease and I am so happy to have my tooth take. Care of. Dental pain is no joke! 10/10 I would recommend! Thank you everyone there for making me feel 100000% better.

Nice guy who does great work. Smart professional staff. I hate getting X-rays and he has the non invasive kind. Wish I could get all my X-rays there. I liked how he took the time to make a crude drawing to make sure I understood what he was planning to do. I felt surprisingly comfortable with the whole thing after talking to him. I liked how they took my insurance info and built a full quote before it began. They made the whole process easy for me. Everyone speaks highly of Dr Hompesch and his work. If you need oral surgery in Fairbanks, this is the place to go.
