Dr. Faynzilberg received his D.M.D. degree from Boston Universitys Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in 1994. Prior to that he received education in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he earned his dental degree in 1973. He then went on to finish a residency in oral maxillofacial surgery at Tyumen State Medical University, Russia. Before moving to the US, he practiced in Russia and Ukraine. He is also is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association as well as a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Originally hailing from the Midwest, Dr. Jahan R. Monirian received his dental degree from Boston University in 2013. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the Spear Dental Study Club. He was featured among Boston Magazine 2018's Top Dentists.
Dr. Monirian is a part of the Highland Dental Associates team, which is based in Somerville, MA. As a dentist, he performs dental procedures such as cosmetic veneers, implant restorations, root canals, tooth extractions, periodontal therapy, and fillings. Dr. Monirian recognizes that many patients may not be completely comfortable with visiting a dentist. Hence, he endeavors to make dental visits a low-stress experience with minimal discomfort. Dr. Paul Shteynberg received his D.M.D. degree from Boston Universitys Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Paul Shteynberg has always been dedicated to providing his patients with the most current state-of-the-art care available. He manages a wide array of dental concerns including implant placement, implant restoration, root canals, periodontal therapy and fillings, focusing on cosmetic crowns and veneers, partial and complete dentures as well as mouthguards for sports & sleeping. They are custom fabricated at in-house dental laboratory.
He lives in Marblehead with his wife and their children. When Dr. Shteynberg is not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, listening to jazz, kickboxing, and deep-sea fishing.
Dr. Nelly Shteynberg earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. After graduating dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Lynn Community Health Center through NYU Langone Medical AEGD program. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Nelly E. Shteynberg at the age of 12 joined her father and uncle in their dental lab, where she helped create dental restorations for patients. She worked in the lab as well as in the dental office throughout high school and developed a passion for dentistry and exemplary pride in her work.
Dr. Nelly Shteynberg enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry as well as working with patients of all ages. She is a member of the Highland Dental Associates team in Somerville, MA. She is also practicing at North Shore Dental in Lynn, MA.

Wish there was a zero star review because that's what I give them. I booked an appointment over a month ago for November 1st at 12:30 got a reminder call Friday I said I will be there. Fast forward to today I get a call as I'm punching out of work at 12:10 since the dentist is only a few seconds away asking if I can come asap I said I'm leaving work now then I get another call asking if I can reschedule because the doc is leaving early. I said absolutely not I booked over a month ago lady said nothing I can do I yea there is take me off you schedule I'll go else where. Plain terrible don't book people if you do not want to work period!!!!!

The staff is super friendly, Dr. Simon is AMAZING! I have extremely high anxiety it is going to the dentist and any dental work. He was very patient and understanding. He made the experience as great as it can be. Extremely knowledgeable.5 Is not enough. People on a From desk were so so nice. Definitely recommend this awesome place

The worst dentist I ever went to in my life he did a root canal I've been Having a serious problem with that tooth for a year now I'm very upset I would never go back to that dentist mr.simon if he was the only dentist in the world !

Patient for few years, very happy with Doctor and Staff, never an issue if an emergency visit comes up, helped me with crown that fell out, saw me same day. Dr. Simon and his experienced team is the best. Had number of things taken care of and will continue to use them again. Recommend to all ! Thank you !

I have been going to North Shore Dental Associates, and I do know the workers very much well. I have met with Dr. Johan, Dr. Simon and Dr. Michael and acquaintances all of the workers there. I also know Gala very well as the reviewer below me mentioned. Gala is a very passionate dedicated assistant who cares a lot about patients well-being. She has been actively working there for many years, and always bring bright smiles to people around her. She know both how to work efferently as well as to crack jokes with the patients. In all honest, I am unclear to why there are people who gave lower ratings than four stars. I believe my rating to be more critical than other reviewers. As a pre-dental student, I have observed many different dental clinics over time. And I believe this clinic to be one of the best clinics I have observed. The dentists who work there are far more respectful towards their patients. They care a lot of patients' well being, and they understand some procedures may cause slight pain. But at the end of the day, I do see many patients walking the clinic with smiles thanking the dentists. These dentists want you to be both satisfied and want you to prevent future damages you may cause. After observing many clinics, I learned that it is impossible to make all patients happy. However, this is this one of the clinics that brings satisfaction to majority of their patients.

Dr. MICHAEL WAS GREAT FOR YEARS DR.SIMON JUST TORE MY MOUTH UP AFTER I PAID 3600.00 IN CROWNS, THEN ONE BECOMES ABSCESSED AND NOT ONLY DID HE DRILL THROUGH it give g me a root canal i got home the crown fell out, I had to go back he shoved in back in and it's now been 2 weeks of pure pain and I'm just finishing up 40 antibiotics, also wouldn't let me make payment plans shooed me out of the office after charging me 550..00 disgusting treatment

I have been a patient of Simon Faynzilberg for over 16 years at this facility and am very satisfied with reception and treatment. In my experience, the staff has always been efficient and accommodating with emergencies. Recently, a crown fell off and needed to be cimented again and they saw me the same day. They always call to remind me of my upcoming appointment. I recommend the place highly.

My last experience was a horrible one ; not only that the so called dentist by name Elena was so inhuman ;she butchered my mouth & left me with severe pains that left me with regrets; ( never study what she calls her self ) HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!

I love this Dental office. I think the other reviews that got one star are lying. They are the nicest staff any where's. Very quick with appointments scheduling. You do no have to wait long. I had all dentists in this practice & all very good. For over 20 years now I have been a patient here. Had every kind of procedure done & never had a problem or complaint. The owner himself is a dentist there and he is very honest & polite. So check them out & don't believe what you hear.
