We can start seeing patients as early as age 1 to help your child be on track to good dental health. We enjoy the work that we do and creating long-term relationships with each of our patients. Dr. Minh Nguyen (or just Dr. Minh, as she prefers!) grew up in a dental family. Her father is an oral surgeon, and her sister is also a dentist. Her fathers career, as well as mission trips she accompanied him on, inspired and influenced Dr. Minh to give back to people in need when and where she could. After earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science, Dr. Minh earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2016, where she was awarded the Dr. Alfred Osher, DG62 and Mrs. Suzi Osher Endowed Scholarship in dental school. She has been practicing for over five years in Boston and north of Boston.
Her goal as a dentist is to help patients achieve their optimal oral health and confidence in their beautiful smiles. She works hard to create a warm, welcoming environment for all her patients, and she continues her education every year to ensure that she is providing the best care she can. She has received advanced training in Invisalign treatment and implant placements, and she is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Minh and her wonderful husband first met in Boston, and she is so grateful for his continued support in her dental career. She is the mom to an active 3-year-old who takes up most of her time when not at work, but when she does get some free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, biking and traveling.

If you're looking for a periodontist, Holly is the best! I've been able to improve and maintain a healthy smile over the past few years, and it's all thanks to the quality of her work. I feel like I'm in good hands at North Shore Family Dentistry... I highly recommend!

Dr. Nguyen is a very nice, professional, and efficient dentist. I've only ever had one dentist besides her, and I'm glad that I've gotten to experience her. She's very good at what she does and is pretty quick too!

I have been going here since I was a little kid. Holly is the best, always striking up conversations and making the experience a breeze. Dr.Nguyen is also amazing. She constantly checks in on you to make sure that nothing is bothering you. You can't forget about Gabby at the front desk who keeps the place together. She is always able to fit me in last minute or make adjustments to fit my schedule.

The office staff (Gabby) accommodates your needs when scheduling appointments. Holly the dental hygienist is amazing & does an amazing job. Dr Ko & his staff are experts. Highly recommend North Shore Family Dentistry.

I've been going to North Shore family dental for the last year and I absolutely love it. Holly is so welcoming and kind. The environment is clean, and inviting. I'm a college student but whenever I come home for my appointments it's always a pleasure. If you're looking for a dentist office in Stoneham I'd definitely recommend!

My family and I have been with Holly for years . She is great ! super friendly , and gentle . Gabby has always squeezed us in if we had an emergency visit ! Dr. Nguyen did my fillings , pain free and quick . Highly recommend!!!

Very friendly staff. During the cleaning they made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Took time to explain what's going on with my dental health and the options for remediation. Spent time answering all my questions.

Seamless experience. I was guided into the patient room immediately upon arrival. Alexa, the technician, was not only great with the cleaning, but also gave me some amazing tips. The doctor was very helpful and efficient. Lovely staff overall, I highly recommend.

Everyone who works in the practice is very down to earth, they make you feel very comfortable even if you are not a fan of going to the dentist all safety procedures are carried out, which i am thankful for-for staff safety as well as patient

I am an extremely anxious dental patient. This was my first time here and Melissa the hygienist was absolutely exceptional. I was so nervous and she made it an actual enjoyable experience. Got my long overdue cleaning and my teeth feel great!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Carrie Guernsey for several years now. Every visit has been a positive experience. I didn't realize how antiquated the equipment and practices were at my previous dentist until I came to Dr. Guernsey - North Shore Family Dentistry has all the latest technology, and she and everyone who works there are knowledgeable, skillful and personable. I have visited twice since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and have been impressed with the safety measures in place to protect patients and staff.
