We are prepared to manage all patients, from the typical well-child, to severely medically, physically, or developmentally challenged children. Treatment modalities include the traditional use of local anesthetic, with or without nitrous oxide, in the office or general anesthesia. All patients in our office benefit from the years of training and experience only available from board-certified specialists.
A major component of our approach involves aggressive preventative care for the patients and education for their parents and pediatricians. We work with families to emphasize the importance of good oral health and its relationship to overall physical health and development. Our practice is well-established and we work hard to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care in a nurturing and positive environment. We also utilize the most up-to-date technology possible. The office is fully digitized, allowing us to save time, minimize our patients exposure to radiation, and communicate effectively with other professionals. In addition, our doctors are on staff at Lurie Childrens Hospital (formerly known as Childrens Memorial) and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
At North Shore Dentistry for Children, we are patient-centered and community-based. We want to give all children and families a dental home where they can receive the best dental care possible. Dr. Glick has been a firefighter, a driver in Vice President Gore's motorcade, and is zero degrees separated from Kevin Bacon. He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, coffee, playing guitar in a dad band, and recently started sewing again.

My two children were scared like most kids when they started seeing the dentist. But Dr Simon and her team changed that and now my little girl looks forward to it. She recently said she likes going to the dentist, because her teeth feel so clean and look so sparkly. What a great feeling as a parent, no fear of the dentist, and great teeth. My senior has been there his entire life and asked how long he can continue seeing them. Great people, great dentists. Highly recommend them.

My two kids have seen Dr. Simon since they were babies. Over the past 16 years, she has been extremely helpful, thorough and caring. One of my children has health issues, and her proactive approach and collaboration with his doctors has been instrumental in keeping him healthy over the years. I have an enormous amount of trust and respect for her and the entire staff at the practice. I have recommended them to numerous families over the years...you just won't find a better dentist for kids.
