Dr. Michiels has been my Dentist for the past 4 years while I've been residing in the Chicago area for school. He has been nothing but hospitable and understanding during this time with regards to different scheduling challenges I have had due to medical school, and difficulties with my insurance. He enjoys telling relatable stories and making fun conversation during procedures, and has been a great provider and friend for the past few years. Thank you for all the care you have provided, and I'll always be jealous of your photographic memory and ability to ace your board exams so easily!

Best dentist in the north shore! Doc is the best and staff is just as amazing. Our entire family feels like home when we come in for our appointments. We are so lucky to be cared for at north shore dental.

Dr Michiels is by far the best and nicest person/dentist I have ever met. He is very honest and will go the extra mile for you. Normally I do not post reviews (usually too busy) but Dr Michiels went out of his way for me and took care of a tooth of mine when I was in desperate need. A review is the least I can do to thank him... if you are in need of a dentist or looking for a new one PLEASE reach out to his office (you will be taken care of like no other office would ever do, and you'll never look back).

I had a great experience at this office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was impressed by how thorough, experienced, and educative Dr. Michiels was. I unfortunately had to get some cavities filled, and the experience was pain free and took no time at all. This office also utilizes special type of tool, which google told me is a magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler, to clean teeth. It is much more efficient and effective than the traditional scratching and scrapping method. I highly recommend North Shore Dental Care.

Dr. Michiels is amazing! He was the first dentist I'd seen in years due to fear and amount of work needed. He has a way of making me comfortable so I'd keep coming back in for my appointments. He did amazing things for my messed up teeth. We moved away a few years ago to the Pacific Northwest but next month we will be in the midwest so I will be coming back to see him again eventhough I'll be a state away.

Great experience here overall. I've had issues with my permanent retainer that Doc had fixed in no time!!! He had me in and out very fast for an amazing price! They have always fit me in as soon as possible to help me out. Would highly recommend them.

A very informed, fair and patient dentist that has his patients' best interest at heart. My family has been cared for by Dr. Michiels for over seven years and he's been great with everyone. The office staff and assistants at NSDC has also been very helpful and available. Thank you for the wonderful care you provide!
