Dr. Ki Wan Kim was raised in the states of California, Arizona, and Utah. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Chemistry minor at the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After graduation from dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kim obtained his Certificate in Endodontics and Master's Degree in Dentistry with a Minor in Oral Pathology from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim was a recipient of the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award and the University of Michigan Arthur H. Merritt Award in Periodontics. He was also a member Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.
Dr. Kim has completed training in complex endodontic procedures using modern equipment such as surgical microscopes, microsurgical instruments, and digital CBCT radiography. He is a board-eligible endodontist and is pursuing board certification. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.

Great service, appreciate the experience level of dentistry and was given the ultimate care that you could possibly receive when you have a root canal that was "screaming" with pain. From the ease of enduring numbing medication to the complex procedure, I felt very comfortable in the hands of the Dentist. Dr Kim is an excellent endodontist! I got 3 root canals from him, and he is my go to endodontist. One of them was a very challenging C shape case. We found out that same tooth had a small crack later on, so I was able to get referred to a periodontist to get further treatment. He is extremely attentive to details. He makes sure his work is to the highest standard. One time I talked to my another endodontist friend about my C shaped root canal. After looking at the images, he commented that no one could have done any better job than Dr Kim's work. I definitely recommend him!

If you find yourself in need of a root canal specialist, Dr. Kim is your best bet. My father has seen a few other specialist before him, and he's SO impressed by the work that Dr. Kim has done for him. Talk about a man crush! My son also had an unfortunate accident that required his services, it was such a comfort & relief to know he was in such great care for the best possible outcome. He's a good man & great Endodontist.
