Dr. Strever grew up just outside Atlanta, and completed his undergraduate studies atthe University of Georgia.He earned his DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, and subsequently his Masters and Certificate in Periodontics from the same institution. He is also Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery
Dr. Strever is licensed as a dentist in both Georgia and Tennessee, and maintains specialty licenses in Periodontics and Conscious Sedationin Tennessee. Dr.Strevers areas of expertise include dental implants, sedation dentistry,esthetic/cosmetic dentistry,gum grafting, bone grafting,laser treatments,and treatment of periodontal disease.He has published research articles and case reports in journals such as the Journal of Periodontology, and continues his contributions to academia while in private practice.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Strever enjoys exploring the wilderness of Chattanooga through hiking, hunting, kayaking and water sports with his girlfriend, Shawn, and their dog, Darwin. He alsoenjoysbrewing craft beer and staying involved in the community through dental volunteering activities.
Shannongraduated from Hixson High School in 1987 and attended Chattanooga State for her CDA. She began working for Dr. McBrayerin 1995. She and her husband Dickie live onSignal Mountain and enjoy spending time on theirfarm with their horses and theirsevendogs. Shannonis the mother of two sons, Tanner and Trent and stepmom to Daisy and Starr. Her greatest joys are walking, hiking, and sharing the love of music with her husband and sons band.
Angielives in LaFayette, GA with her husband Ken and daughter Ella. She received a bachelors degree in Business Management and Human Resources Management from UTC. Several years later she followed her heart and went back to school for a Dental Hygiene degree at Chattanooga State. Angie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves to travel, being at the lake, exercising and playing golf with her husband and daughter.
Jamiehas been a dental hygienist for 32 years and has spent the last 12 years of her career working for Dr. McBrayer. When she is not working, she loves reading , cooking, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
Meaganis from Wildwood, Ga and graduated from Dade County High School in 2005. She graduated from Chattanooga State with an A.A.S in Dental Hygiene in May 2011 and started on Dr. McBrayers teamin August of 2012. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, concerts, spending time with friends & family, and quality time with herdogOlive.
Sherireceived degrees in dental assisting and dental hygiene from Chattanooga State. She is the proud mother and grandmother offour sons,three granddaughters, and one grandson. In her spare time, Sherienjoys her grandchildren, photography,filming, visiting parks, trail hiking, golf, reading, movies, and walks with her dog, Dexter. She attends Venue Church.

I have been putting off major dental work for many years fearing the experience. These guys walked me through a plan, the process, and we got the work done. It was as apinfree as possible and all the employees treated me with respect and honesty. I wish I would have had those done years ago knowing them and how it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Great people and great experience. Maybe the waiting room could use some fashion refreshing :)

First time patient review, Dr. McBrayer and staff, are so amazing 5 stars isn't the review it should be ten out of ten. They answered every question, walked me thoroughly through all of the procedure and this doctor cares. I have never felt so welcomed at any office in my life Jaimie the office manager is simply amazing, not often do you laugh and smile while paying a bill but this staff just makes you feel appreciated and welcome. Shannon the assistant that worked with me I couldn't say enough but a big Thank You!!! If you have any periodontal needs this is the place. We need more doctors like this in the area and for a person to travel 50 miles it was well worth it thank you North River Periodontics ...

Dr. McBrayer is terrific as well as the entire safe. You are greeted pleasantly as you walk thru the doors. I did not encounter one person that did not go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Mr McBrayer is an excellent doctor with great chair side manners!
