My name is Dr. Ryan Bailey, and I am excited to introduce you to North River Dental Care! We are a gentle, soothing, and comfortable dental practice dedicated to excellence and serving the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding communities!
I earned my dental degree at the VCU School of Dentistry, where I was named to the Deans List for outstanding academic achievement. I also received several awards for high quality of care and conscientious attention to detail, including theQuintessence Publishing Company Awardin Periodontics (healing gums and bone), theTeledyne Hanau Waterpik Prosthodontics Award(rebuilding smiles), and theAcademy of Osseointegration Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry(replacing missing teeth).
Because ensuring that you receive the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art dental care is very important to me, after dental school I chose to take my training to the next level and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina. I also regularly attend post-graduate dental training courses and maintain memberships in many professional associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Over the years, Ive had the opportunity to practice dentistry in different areas of the country and learned many methods to care for my patients. But when it came time to put down roots, I decided to return to Virginia, and I am very happy to be home.
Creating and maintaining fine dentistry is a joint effort something we can work on together. As your dentist, I will make every effort to listen to your dental wants, determine the best way to combine them with your dental needs, and care for you in a reassuring,gentle manner.
If you have experienced fear or anxiety during a previous visit to the dentist, you are not alone. Lots of people feel that way, and it is perfectly okay! The good news is, it can get better, and you can get the smile that you want and deserve! Helping people overcome their fear of the dentist is one of my favorite things to do!

Dr. Bailey is by far one of the best dentist ever.. if you are in need of a dentist or looking to replace your current dentist this is the best choice you will ever make in your life.. every time I'm there I end up so comfortable and at ease I fall asleep you will never find a better dentist than Dr Bailey. I cannot recommend him highly enough

Wonderful experience with everyone on staff at North River Dental. Michelle got my appt booked right away knowing I was experiencing some pain and discomfort. Stacy listened to my concerns and was very professional and knowledgeable making the initial assessment and throughout the entire procedures. Dr. Bailey was very considerate and thoughtful and professional in his assessment of my situation and came up with a plan to help me feel better. Then DeeDee checked me out and was very accommodating in setting up my next appointment for a day and time that fit my schedule best. Hats off to a great staff that made the dental experience bearable. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I very much appreciate you all.

My experience was great from the front desk staff to my dental hygienist. She was very gentle with my teeth and explained everything she was doing during my cleaning. Dr. Bailey was the best he assured me that everything was going to be ok during my visit. Thank you again for caring for me as your patient!

Dr. Bailey is the absolute best. He is comforting, gentle and genuinely cares about his patients. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I've never had a dentist who cared the way he does. I'll never go anywhere else after my experience with him and his awesome team!

We started seeing Dr. Bailey in 2019 and cannot say enough good things about him and everyone over at North River Dental! Everyone is knowledgeable, polite and friendly! If you need a dentist, I highly recommend North River Dental!

We had to reschedule our appointments due to insurance coverage and because I was 2 hrs past their 48 he cancellation window we were charged $50 each. Mind you they had previously rescheduled the appointments 2 times. But we didn't receive $50 for each appointment they rescheduled. I would not recommend this dental practice to anyone. Totally one sided service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Dr Bailey and his staff are wonderful. They are super friendly, and make you feel welcome. I got a tooth pulled and it was quick, painless and I am super relieved now! :) Adrienne (not sure if I spelt her name right) is super nice. I really like that Dr Bailey likes to make his patients feel comfortable. He is very thorough and will explain the procedures and what he is doing so you are made fully aware. Definitely would recommend Dr Bailey to anyone!

Let me start by saying, i have only done reviews on a business that were terrible. I feel compelled to write this. I have literally looked for 15 years for a Dentist that i could feel comfortable with (Like most folks i dread going to a Dentist) Truly have found a place that i'm extremely comfortable with. I want to thank all at North River Dental for the friendly and professional atmosphere that they have created. If you need Dental work, this is absolutely the place to go.

In a nutshell, North River Dental Care provides the best dental care I have ever received. I have had numerous cleanings, fillings, and a crown placement over the span of a few years. Every time I come to the office, I can expect the same skillful, compassionate, on-time, painless, and even relaxing dental care. Whenever I need a procedure, Dr. Bailey makes sure that it is as comfortable as possible and that I am completely aware of what's happening. I trust him and his staff so much. I recently moved out of state with an employer change and therefore dental insurance change. I plan to come home and return to Virginia and receive my dental care exclusively at this office. I can't wait to come back for my next cleaning! And I have never been a fan of the dentist... extremely thankful for this office and care.
