Dr. Singletary graduated from Duke University with a B.A. Degree in Chemistry. He graduated from Emory University Dental School with a DDS degree then did his specialty training at UNC School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics. He received his Masters degree and certificate for Periodontics and became a Diplomate and is Board Certified with the American Board of Periodontology. The American Board of Periodontology defines a diplomat as a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Singletary has six children and his favorite hobby is sailing. He grew up in Durham and attended church and high school there. Dr. Singletary plans to practice a long time Lord willing!
Monica Singletary and Dr. Macon Singletary have been married for 28 years and have six children. Monica graduated from Meredith College with a BA in English. She enjoys spending time with family & friends when shes not helping out in the office.

Lolee has a son, Raphael, and a pet fish named Dash. Originally from Florida, she enjoys the beach, Caribbean festivals, cooking, traveling and watching documentaries.
If you see someone grooving through the office, that is Nancy, whose spunkiness and dance moves brighten our day. Nancy is a Certified Dental Assistant with expertise in x-ray, sterilization, and infection control therapy. When shes not dancing and singing, she finds comfort praying Gods word, playing the violin, and being at the beach.
Stephanie is doer of all things in the front office. She is all around amusing and often heard saying, It is what it is. Stephanie keeps it real, helps us stay organized and pitches in wherever needed. Kind words and unexpected things make her smile.
Laurie is the creative graphic design talent for our practice. She is a graduate of ECU School of Art & Design. Laurie enjoys off-the-beaten-path travel adventures, cycling with her husband Mike, and is always planning their next trip. Outside in nature is my favorite place and I love a really good cookie!
When one door closes, another one opens! Susan has walked through many doors in her life experiences. She comes to us with a varied background including business administration, stay-at-home mom, volunteering, caretaker and all around fun family host. All things lakeboating, jet skiing, kayaking and relaxing with a good book make the perfect day for Susan.

He referred me to the best specialist he knew and Dr. Singletary did an excellent job with caring follow-ups. His staff is always friendly, professional and do a great job. I could not have been in better hands and I am thankful.

I've been seeing Dr. Macon Singletary for 25 years and it seems each year the practice just keeps getting even better. Definitely the most modern dental practice that I've personally experienced. It seems like they inherently understand how to always stay ahead. I'd give the entire team an 11 out of 10.

Welcoming, caring....they explain every procedure and why it's necessary or....if it's necessary or not, which I appreciate. I have been a patient of Dr. Singletary for over ten now. When one is in need of a great dental specialist, it is important to know that your doctor is professional, caring, and looks out for your best interests. Dr. Singletary is all of the above! To give you a recent example, after indicating a problem in an online communication, he immediately called me (on a Sunday, no less) to discuss the situation and set up a consult visit that up coming week! Had a tooth extracted this week. It was a difficult extraction, and Dr. Singletary did a superb job, no pain or other issues. He is excellent as is his staff. I would highly recommend this office for any services that they preform. A five star in my book. I never thought I would give anyone 5 stars for a tooth extraction, but Dr. Singletary and his staff definitely deserves it.
