Dr. Gregg M. Festa opened his family dentistry practice in 2000. Dr. Laura Kearney purchased the practice in 2021. Our Raleigh family dental care office is located on Falls of Neuse Road, close to Interstate 540. We provide comprehensive family dental care for patients of any age, ranging from young children to seniors. We are easily accessible for all Research Triangle residents and we welcome any and all people looking for high-quality dental care and personal customer service in North Carolina!
Dr. Laura Anne Kearney graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor ofScience in Biology in 2008. In 2012, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at ChapelHill, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and completed her dental implant training program atZimmer Biomet Institute. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Carolina Dental Societyand Old North State Dental Society.
Dr. Kearney has completed a General Practice Residency at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC, where she focused on providing emergency and multidisciplinary comprehensive oral care to medically compromised patients. At Vidant Medical Center, gained experience in anesthesiology, otolaryngology, family medicine, physical diagnosis, emergency medicine and dental specialties.
Dr. Gregg Michael Festa DDS is originally from Marlboro, NY. He attended East Carolina University for his undergraduate studies and continued his graduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill for the next four years, where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.Dr. Festa specializes in cosmetic and general dentistry and has been practicing as a dental professional since 1989, when he arrived in Raleigh. Until the opening of his current practice in 2000 he worked with other dentists in the region, where he perfected his skills in the various disciplines of modern dentistry. He loves Raleigh and has grown very fond of the local residents. Dr. Festa appreciates the loyalty & trust of the clients who visit him for dental care and realizes that success depends on maintaining honest, forthright doctor/patient relationships.
Mrs. Jackie brings over 30 years experience to our office. When you come in, her smiling eyes will greet you and sign you in. Her friendly and charismatic personality will make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. As a breast cancer survivor, she understands how it feels to be a patient and the fear of coming in for treatment. Her compassionate and detailed way of communicating will put your fears at ease. Not only does she have experience as a dental assistant, she also brings her experience from owning her own a printing company in the 90s. She understands the importance of great customer service and is dedicated to helping all of our patients. She has contacts at all of the major insurance companies to make sure you can use your benefits effectively.
Christi is the lead hygienist at our office, graduated from Halifax Community College, Hygiene school in 2009. Coming all the way from Littleton, NC. Christi offers an amazing dental knowledge base. Her expert skill level will ensure all of your oral care needs will be met. She takes pride in everything she does and researches the latest developments in dentistry. Her gentle and compassionate manner is sure to impress you!
Roxana is the lead assistant at our office. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Originally from Mexico, this mother of 3 is amazing at multi-tasking and providing excellent patient care. She has the biggest smile on her face during our implant surgery days. Dental implant placement is Roxanas and Dr. Kearneys favorite procedure.
Nikki is a 2010 graduate of UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. She brings 11 years of dental experience to make your experience memorable. She is wife, mom of three young adults and one adorable granddaughter. She enjoys concerts, wine tasting and making people smile. We call the mama of the office.

Today I took my 5 year old to try out his third dentist. They say three is a charm and today was our lucky day! The service my son received from the time we walked into the door until he overtook the toy closet was outstanding. He's developed a complete phobia of the dentist and it's a whole nightmare for him to even think about going. Today Dr. Kearney and her staff turned that into joy. She has a genuine love and concern for her patients and work complete miracles with children. Thank you for your diligence and going the extra mile to ensure my son was comfortable .

I recently had some discomfort from a tooth that had been capped. I called North Raleigh Dentist office and was seen the next day by Dr Kearney. She found the problem and was able to take care of me immediately. Dr Kearney and her assistant, Roxy are a great team. They explained every step as they did the work required. This was a wonderful experience. I am very thankful for the friendly, knowledgeable and painless dental work completed. From the friendly welcoming by Jackie at the front desk to the assistance with my insurance this was a great experience. Thank you Dr Kearney and team!

Dr. Kearney took over for Dr. Festa who had been my dentist for 20 years and I loved him. Fortunately, now I love Dr Kearney and her staff. Their happiness is infectious. Kristi the hygienist is a teeth cleaning ninja. Roxy is so calm with procedures; and wonderful. I've had an implant and when Dr K numbs, she counts down when withdrawing the needle. It doesn't hurt, it just freaks me out thinking of it, so the countdown is perfect. She put bonding on my front teeth and one was slightly longer than the other, so she made them even - it was sincerely one of the best things I've done. Jackie at the front desk is friendly and gets right back when called. A lot of dentists seem like they're on the autism spectrum, (not Dr Festa) but Dr Kearney is effusive and has a great personality along with amazing technical skill. If you haven't guessed, I highly recommend.

I actually fell asleep getting my teeth cleaned! I know....I can't believe it myself but ALL FACTS!!! The hygienist was so gentle and pleasant! I strongly recommend this dentist office!!

My family has been patients of Dr.Kearney for over 8 years. She once worked at a dentist office that was mabe 15 mins from my home, but recently gained her very own practice in North Raleigh, which is about an hour and 10 min drive. Well that drive is well worth it. To find a dentist that shows so much compassion to not only adults but especially kids. Dr.Kearney is AMAZING. I love her and so does my family. I highly recommend Dr Kearney. And let's not forget her awesome and friendly staff. They are all wonderful.

My son and I were years-long patients of Dr. Festa and were sad (but understand!) when he stepped down from full-time practice. Dr. Kearney and her team have been equally fantastic and supportive, and I am very happy with the level of care we have received.

I often have anxiety with dentists, but I had no problems at all with Dr Festa. He told me what he would be doing with each step of the checkup and cleaning. He asked me several times during my appointment if I had any questions. I felt heard and respected. I had a good checkup. No cavities, but I would have trusted him to correct any problems I had. It has been many, many years since I went to a dentist who did the entire checkup and cleaning himself. He was thorough yet gentle. I have left two previous dentists who I had seen for several years due to overly aggressive dental hygienists. Since Dr Festa also does the cleanings, you can be assured he will do a good job with no injuries. Jackie was wonderful on the front desk. Nice, professional, and knowledgeable lady. She was able to get me in quickly for my appointment and I already have an appointment for my next 6-month checkup. Such a wonderful dental practice! They are everything I would ever want in a dental office.

I am always pleased with the service that I get at this office. I will be going back in a couple of months to have my teeth cleaned.

I was referred to Dr Festa by the VA due to VA's overload. I don't think I could have been sent to better dentist and dental staff. Dr Festa was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and gentle while working in my mouth. I would be happily to recommend him and his staff to family and friends.
