North Potomac Smiles was founded in 2006 by Dr. Nadim Kodsi in the Quince Orchard Medical Park in Gaithersburg Maryland. Through word of mouth and by his utmost commitment to personalized high quality dental care, North Potomac Smiles has been rapidly growing ever since. In order to accommodate our ever growing dental family, North Potomac Smiles moved to larger state of the art facility on Shady Grove road in 2010. Drs. Sharon Mathew and Cuong Tran, along with our talented and caring dental hygienists, assistants and front office team, share the core values of our practice. We truly believe in providing each and every patient with the most sincere, gentle and efficient advanced dental care possible.
From 270, take Exit 8 (Shady Grove Rd West) and make a right on Research Blvd and a quick left into the building. From Germantown/Gaithersburg, take Great Seneca Highway to Route 28, Key-West. Make a left on 28 (Key-West) and another left on Shady Grove Rd followed by another left onto Research Blvd and another left into the building.

It used to be a 5 star place. Dr Kodsi is great, but unfortunately the last office experiences have been horrible. Tried for more than 3 months to get my sons appointments, never could. Not to mention they recommended an oral surgeon for my son who needed his wisdom teeth out, who has incredibly shady reviews. We went and found our own, and when some paperwork was needed the front office fought with the oral surgeons office to the point where I had to go drive over and deal with it while my son was in surgery. Mind you we have been customers for over 15 years, when he was just a tiny office. I think it's a matter of becoming too big to maintain proper customer service, and treating the people who have been with you from the beginning with respect. It's truly an unfortunate situation, and sadly time to move on.

Front desk, nurses, hygienists, doctors, absolutely everyone working there is professional, friendly, and always ready to help. They are very well organized and are always upfront about the care costs.

I highly recommend North Potomac smiles! They really made me feel very comfortable, like we were friends of many years. I suffered bad anxiety and depression and for many years did not go to the dentist because of anxiety at the dentist office, however now I am very comfortable here and would recommend it to everyone. They are very compassionate and I have not felt any pain at any of my visits. I couldn't be any happier to have finally found a great dental office that really cares about my feelings and that I am comfortable 100% of the time.

We always have a good experience at North Potomac Smiles. The only reason I left off a star is that it can be difficult to get an appointment without booking months (sometimes a year) out. Very popular place for good reason!

North Potomac Smiles is an excellent dental practice in my neighborhood. Dr. Nadim Kodsi, his associates and staff are very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. I feel that my family gets the best dental care there. They really have their act together. Of note, they have made great use of the latest technology for scheduling, confirming appointments, and billing.

Absolutely the best dental practice around! The staff is always so friendly, personable and accommodating. Rita always makes scheduling a breeze and treatment is reasonably priced and she always tells me exactly what is covered by my insurance and what may not be so there are no surprises. I actually do not hate going in for treatment (who really likes going to the dentist ?) and Dr. Kim always makes me feel comfortable and Maria also did a great job with my very difficult crown.
