Dr. Toney completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University and attended dental school at University of Nebraska. He is always pursuing the education process and attends courses across the country to continue to bring the most relevant treatment to our patients. Dr. Toneys patients repeatedly attest to his level of commitment to the very best clinical care, attention to every detail and his unique ability to reduce their fears. He holds memberships in the American and Minnesota Dental Associations. Dr. Toney has four beautiful children! Dr. Toney enjoys biking, camping, barbecuing and, of course, spending time with his lovely family.
Amy is the Patient Coordinator of our team. She holds degrees in education and business and has enjoyed a career in healthcare for over 25 years. Amys focus on creating positive customer experiences allows every patient to understand they are a priority and a valued member of the North Pointe Dental family. In her free time, Amys an avid Green Bay Packer fan, a novice garlic farmer, and loves to travel with her husband, Jim.

Deanna grew up in Michigan and received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Ferris College. She has been practicing hygiene for over 30 years. In addition to her advanced clinical experience, Deannas commitment to continuing education elevates her to one of Rochesters premier hygienists. Her patients appreciate her positive attitude, genuine concern, and clinical skill. Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband John and their family. She likes to quilt, read, flower garden and cheer on the Minnesota Twins.
Michaela was born and raised in Colorado. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene at the University Of Colorado School Of Dental Medicine in May of 2007. She practiced Dental Hygiene in Colorado for 6 years before moving to Minnesota with her family in 2013. Michaela enjoys spending as much time as possible outside during the warm, summer months and inside during the cold, winter months with her beautiful family!
Tanya was born and raised near Mankato, Minnesota. She is a 2004 graduate from Rochester Community and Technical College with an associates degree in dental hygiene. She practiced in a Twin Cities suburb office for 14 years before joining North Pointe Dental. Tanya is passionate about educating her patients regarding the importance of oral hygiene. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, hiking, fishing and trail running.
Julie grew up on a farm in nearby Hayfield. She received her Dental Assisting degree in 2012 and joined the North Pointe Dental team in July 2014. In her free time she likes to fish, bowl, help on her parents farm and go to county fairs. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and their family.

Awesome..... Is the only word that I have. My original dentist told me they could not get me in until October for a cleaning and a filling and Northwest got me in the next day. Very clean facility and everyone is very friendly.

After having problems finding a good dentist, and a good one with a good office staff, now I've found Northpointe. They are in a good location and very easy to find. Lots of parking too. The Doctor and all the staff I've met are really nice, and most important, very good at their jobs! So far I've had an exam, cleaning, and one filling. I'm glad I found them, they are great!

The best dental office I have ever been to! I have moved around to Philadelphia and to the Twin Cities and I continued my care with Dr. Toney and his office because the customer service and quality of care is outstanding! I feel like they know me personally and keep up with the details of my life, asking me how my family is and how work is going. Deanna is the sweetest dental hygienist and so personable. They provide high quality care, are honest, full of integrity, and so kind. Can't say enough amazing things!

I went there to get my wisdom teeth removed and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had by a doctor. My doctor/surgeon told my parents that I would be out under a general anesthetic. When I was brought back to the OR, the doctor injected me with about 30 or 40 doses of novacane (or however it's spelled). He also told my parents that my bottom two wisdom teeth would be removed while my top two were just fine. However the doctor thought it was okay to just remove all 4 instead. About half way through the surgery one of the nurses has digging her hand into my lower jaw. I complained about the pain and the doctor stopped what he was doing, placed his arm on my chest and SWORE at me for complaining. All in all this is a terrible doctor to go to unless you like getting assaulted and up charged.

As the son of an extremely skilled and respected retired dentist, I had very high expectations for my visit, including the quality of the work, attentiveness to detail, and chairside manner. Following my experiences at North Pointe I can unequivocally highly recommend Dr. Toney and his capable and thoughtful staff. Recently, I had to have a thorough cleaning and a few repairs, and my experiences were all positive, including the support "after the sale" when I called in with questions. Dr. Toney and his staff are friendly and accommodating, and they take extra steps to ensure you are comfortable during your whole visit. Even Dr. Toney's cheerful attitude and sense of humor will put you at ease. Definitely recommend.

I can't say enough good things about North Pointe Dental and the staff. Jason has been amazing to work with our family especially when we experienced a true dental emergency. He truly cares about his patients and has checked up on our son frequently during that whole experience. His knowledge and expertise is amazing in the dental field. The dental hygienist and assistant are compassionate about heir work and are gentle and understanding of the patient's needs. Tanya has been great with our kids and family and explains everything she is going to do and is gentle with her cleanings. Amy is a great asset to the team and always has a smile on her face.

North Pointe Dental has provided my family with excellent dental care since we began going there. Dr. Toney and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly and caring. My son (age 8) enjoys the kind staff while my daughter (age 6) says, "Dr.Toney helps us make sure we don't get cavities." It does not get better than Dr. Toney and all the staff at North Pointe Dental! I never liked going to the dentist as a kid, but it's actually enjoyable going here. Deanna is great, and I always enjoy catching up with her. It's just a great atmosphere at this dental office, and you can tell they all care about you as a patient and as a person. Can't recommend them enough!

I never thought I'd ever enjoy going to the dentist! Dr. Toney, Mary, and Deanna are just the best. Dr. Toney has performed both maintenance and cosmetic dentistry work on me and does an amazing job. It's so nice to always see Mary's smiling face when I arrive and then catch up with Deanna during the cleaning. Great group of people- you won't find a better dentist in town.
