Dr. Lamarr Holland is originally from Westerville, Ohio. He attended the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Chemistry and studied to become proficient in Spanish. Upon graduation he attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA where he served as Class President as well as on the Executive Student Council Board. After completing his doctorate program in 2014 he attended residency at Virtua Health Center in Camden, NJ where he was able to work alongside specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and periodontics. He practiced general dentistry in Knoxville, TN for six years before deciding to relocate with his family to Winston-Salem, NC in 2021.
Dr. Holland takes the greatest joy in fostering meaningful relationships with his patients. Ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable environment allows him to plan out and perform dental treatment in a manner that patients can appreciate. Seeing that patient who might be a bit nervous in the chair on their first visit become a relaxed and regular visitor to the office is his favorite type of dental transformation.
Stephanie has been a Dental Hygienist for over 10 years, with over 7 years with North Point Dental Associates.She grew up in Mount Airy, also known as Mayberry from the Andy Griffith show. Stephanie has been married to her best friend for almost 13 years and they have two beautiful children who are 8 and 4. She has a love of animals, being active in the church, and the beach. Stephanie graduated from Forsyth Tech in 2010, where she received the Golden Scaler and Most Dedicated Student awards for her clinical excellence and passion for the dental hygiene profession. Her decision to become a hygienist was greatly influenced by her childhood hygienist and dentist. Growing up, she couldnt wait to go to the dentist and one of her main goals is for patients to feel comfortable and enjoy going to the dentist as she always did.
Frances Greeson is a native of High Point, NC and currently lives and works in the High Point community. She graduated high school at Southwest Guilford High in 2013. Frances was elected vice president of her class in dental hygiene school where she carried out many leadership responsibilities. She received an associates degree in science for dental hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College in 2017. She recently bought her first house in the triad area remaining close to family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and learning to cook.
I have been a dental hygienist for over 3 years now. In 2018, I graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College Dental Hygiene Program with honors. I love being a dental hygienist, and have a passion for what I do and helping others!
In 2020, I got married to my wonderful husband and we bought our first home together. I grew up in Davidson County where I live with my husband, our 4 cats, and our dog. I enjoy spending my spare time serving at church, traveling, fishing, and reading.
Melissa has been at North Point Dental Associates for 12 years. She has been in the dental field for 16 years total with the last 5 years specializing as an insurance coordinator, and has recently transitioned into the office administrator role. She has experience in all aspects of client interaction and patient satisfaction. Melissa is very detail oriented and works hard to ensure that each patient has a wonderful experience.
Marbeliz grew up in the Dominican Republic and moved to the USA in 2010. She has been a dental assistant since 2014, when she graduated from Nyack Dental Assistant School in NY. Marbeliz has called North Carolina her home since 2018 and has loved living and working in the Triad area. Marbeliz is dedicated to delivering excellent clinical care to patients during every step of their dental visit. Interacting and communicating with her patients is one of Marbelizs favorite aspects of her role at North Point Dental. When shes not working, Marbeliz loves being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
Blair is a DAII for North Point Dental Associates. She attended the dental assisting program at Montgomery Community College in 2016 and has been working as a DAII for over 3 years now. Blair works hard to put her patients interests first and loves being a part of creating smiles that they will love! She lives in Troy, NC where she grew up and lives with her husband, one year old daughter, and their giant Golden doodle. Blair is actively involved in her church, and is happiest outdoors, playing sports. In her free time, Blair enjoys creating memories with family and seeing new places!
Kaylin grew up in the Thomasville/ High Point area and now enjoys serving this community. She completed her high school education at Ledford Senior High in 2013. After which she attended Dccc to complete all of her pre-requisites for the Dental Assisting Program. Kaylin Graduated from Gtcc in 2017 with her Dental Assisting II certification. She chose to work in the dental field to help educate people on the importance of oral hygiene. Kaylin strives to help each person who comes to North Point Dental feel welcome and comfortable. Outside of work, Kaylin can be found spending time with her husband of five years and two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include baking desserts and vacationing at the beach..
I was born and raised in Randolph County. I completed my high school education at Randleman High School. By 2020 I received my certification in dental assisting. I enjoy informing others about the importance of oral hygiene and helping them achieve a smile they will love. Whenever Im not at work, you will find me spending time with family and friends. I also love going to the gym and trying out different restaurants.
Brittany joined North Point Dental Associates in 2017. She enjoys her role as a treatment coordinator at North Point Dental because it allows her to interact with patients and see their dental needs met and smile goals accomplished. Brittany takes great pride in educating each patient so they understand their specific dental needs, and helps them realize how to financially achieve them. She loves working in an environment where she can continue to learn something new every day! Outside of the dental office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, including her teenage daughter and twins who always keep her going. She also has 3 dogs, a boxer and 2 English bulldogs that she loves to pieces. Brittanys hobbies include travelling to new destinations and even going off road.
No insurance, no problem! North Point Dental Associates offers multiple in house annual savings plans to accommodate our uninsured patients. The plans are effective for 12 months and can be renewed annually. There is a onetime membership fee to sign up and no other monthly expenses for the plan. This is not dental insurance, but rather allows you to receive discounts on all services and get some preventive services such as exams, cleanings and x-rays at no additional cost.

Went in for a a regular cleaning and there was nothing remotely regular to it. Such top notch care and service from the time you set your foot in the door. Everything is so neat and clean. Just the way you would want a dental office to be. Easy access and convenient parking including handicapped parking. Everyone is still in face masks for your protection. Super comfortable chairs and televisions to watch to keep your mind occupied and I don't even remember having to wait which to be honest I was kinda into the television show. I know.... right? Frances did an awesome job cleaning my teeth. She went the extra mile double checking until she was satisfied with the job she had done. She went over them twice. Then Dr. Helland came in and went over everything thoroughly. They take extra care and time with me because of bilateral TMJ issues and use child size everything. The receptionist are stellar. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone that is afraid of the dentist. They will put you mind and any teeth issues at ease. They even pre-numb the area they are going to numb. You can't ask for much more than that. Thanks North Point Dental for such a positive experience!!

OK first and foremost this has literally been the first dental office I have been to that has absolutely blown me away!!! Secondly, let's start with the staff... I have never and I repeat never felt so amazing going to the dentist and the staff knew my name when I walked in the door!!!! (2nd TIME HERE!!!) Everything from walking in the door to leaving out of the door has been epic!!!! To be in and out in less than 30 minutes???? Oh HHUUUNEY...you better believe I'm bringing my family here... Dr. Holland, literally the friendliest dentist I have ever met in my life I have never felt so comfortable so appreciate it and just so human going to the Dentist!!! oh my goodness and did I mention the staff? Let me go back and get their names so that I can post to another review because they all deserve recognition!!! I love you guys stay beautiful!!!

I moved to NC in 2008 and I must say it took me until 2021 to find the best Dental Office that not only I love but that my kids literally are not afraid of. Also, with MY insurance - the prices are amazing. It was half the cost for my kids if they went to a pediatric dentist and I am SO happy about that!! Please if you are questioning a Fantastic dentist's office go see North Point Dental!!

Not the same since Dr. Oliver left. Had to go back to have a crown smoothed out. Incorrect billing. Sent a bill that said it was 60 days overdue. I pay in full every visit and this was the first time I saw this bill. How could it be 60 days overdue if they never billed me? Long-time patient will not go back.

This was my first visit. My hygienist, Stephanie was great! All the ladies I met were very nice. Dr Holland did a great job making my crown. It was painless! I am happy to have found a great dentistry!

Dr. Thakkar is AMAZING! A few things I like about the practice: 1. Takes my insurance 2. Tells me if I don't need work when I thought I did (honest dentist!) 3. Has a tv so you can watch Netflix and they let you change whatever's on the TV! What I like about dr thakkar herself: 1. Knowledgeable but good at breaking things down 2. Empathetic and kind 3. Very smart! I'll update the review when I have a filling or crown but so far AMAZING experience!

I have been going to North Point Dental Associates for 4 years, and the staff and dentists have always been professional, patient and friendly. I've never had to wait long, and when I needed a crown, the dentist explained everything to me and provided a cost estimate based on my insurance. I'm nervous about getting any work done on my teeth, but they are always very reassuring and concerned about making me as comfortable as possible.

My three kids and I have been patients here for about 10 years and while the owners/dentists have changed over time, one thing has remained the same and that is great service and customer service. We have had many treatments done as well as our regular cleanings/exams and have never had any problems. Everyone has always been pleasant, from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the dentists.
