Dr. Tafrishi is a life-long student who continually pursues education. He is passionate about the human body as a system working together to create overall health. He is especially enthusiastic about the oral cavity since it is the gateway to the body.

He graduated from TUMS Medical School overseas as a family physician where he treated patients for seven years. As Dr. Tafrishi observed gum disease and bacteria in the mouth contribute to diabetes, heart problems, low birth weight babies, some forms of cancer and many other health problems, he became more conscious about the importance of oral health care and its relation to systemic health.

Because he is a life-long learner; being a family physician, no longer provided a challenge for Dr. Tafrishi. Consequently he returned to school and earned a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery magna cum laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, graduating in the top ten of his class. Dr. Tafrishis expertise for minor surgeries gained from his medical office had given him the confidence to serve patients in private dental practice.

Dr. Tafrishi joined North Point Dental Associates in 2008 as an associate dentist & has cared for patients in the Dundalk community since then. In January 2013, he took over the practice after the previous dentist decided to slow down.

Dr. Tafrishi strives to learn the latest in new dental technologies and techniques to ensure that your care at North Point Dental Associates is the best possible with the most comfortable treatment available. He regularly earns continuing education credits well in excess of the number required to maintain his dental license. Not only is dentistry his profession, it is also his passion. Dr. Tafrishi is a perfectionist who performs all dental procedures at the best level possible. He truly loves dentistry and spends hours reading the latest professional journals. He also spends many hours each year attending lectures on newest dental procedures and materials.

At the core of our dental practice is a friendly team of professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal oral health. We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your specific needs. As part of our commitment to providing close, personalized attention to every patient, we want to encourage patient communication. Please know that we are here to provide outstanding patient care, and that we value the trust you have placed in us.

My wife and I went there to take our children and it will be the LAST. The hygienist use the same suction to remove saliva from their mouth and when I asked other employee was that the same one she instantly said yes .. "when there's a family they use the same stuff" I let her continue but I'm honestly sick to my stomach it's honestly nasty and quickest way for a child to get sick. There's also an older white last with gray hair who seemed like she screamed the whole visit. My daughter seemed more anxious .. We didn't enjoy the experience my children seem unhappy and I'm still in disbelief I even sent them there. I've called dental boards Thursday hopefully they shut this office down for improper sanitation and Going against health guidelines.

I had 2 procedures done and the dentist literally said to me as she pushed back the chair: "You know the drill." No, I don't know the drill because I have good teeth. On another a visit, a different dentist (the father?) laughed about how my teeth were good, so he couldn't charge me with procedures.

This was a horrible experience not only was the office staff very rude but they over talk you are very snappy I was trying to get alot of work done that cost alot of money I was told to go to them because they work with you I saved up 2,500 for work and the first part should have been covered by insurance I called my insurance and they said it will go threw. I also just got a new insurance threw work but I couldn't even get that far on the phone with the lady because she is so rude cuts you off. They called me and asked me to come early for my appointment I said okay. Than when I couldn't come early it was a issue. They had me come in took a X-ray told me what was what I said okay. Over all horrible experience wouldn't recommend AT ALL!!!

I have been going to North Point for years because I use to pay out of pocket and their prices were always reasonable. In my recent visit Dr Web did an excellent job numbing me up (I have difficulty getting numb) and her fillings have received compliments when I volunteered at the dental school for my daughter in law..

My daughter was referred to go to a local family dentistry after she had some swelling going on and we happened to stumble across this place. The two nice ladies at the front desk were amazing to us and gave us solutions along with setting up an appointment. Mind you me or my child have never been to fond of dentist but I believe we both found our new family dentistry.

The people seem a little uptight and constantly rushing. If they invest in their patients and slow down a bit then it would be a 5 star

There's two front desk women who are rude and say bad things about other patients. The one who gives reminder phone calls for your appointment is the rudest and shouldn't even have her job. It's very disrespectful to the dentist office to behave in that manner. This message is only about them, it's not about the rest of the very compassionate employees. The dentists are amazing as well. If you want to go through the lions to get to the den just remember this comment !

This was the best dental exp. I've ever had. They pulled 3 teeth and after numbing me I felt nothing. Everyone was extremely nice and polite. I have never had such a pleasant dental experience as I had at North Point Dental. Dr. Webb does exceptional work. With no pain what so ever.

I have had an extremely positive experience at this office. Me and my husband have both had some work done, and are very pleased with everything. I've always been terriffied of the dentist and this office has really made me feel comfortable The dentist's and dental assistants were very nice and explained the procedures to me and what to expect. I was particularly impressed with Brittany at the front desk. She went above and beyond for me and my husband and has really been a God-send, If her boss reads this, give this girl a raise! ! LOL

Unfortunately had to have a tooth extraction, and have a partial. No pain at all with extraction. Didn't even know I was being worked on. Partial came super fast, and was very, very pleased with the result, and experience I had at North Point Dental. The staff there are very professional and courteous. Thank you North Point Dental.

I went in as a cleaning and was told I needed a crown. This was after I was told that my filling was put in on top of decay and caused my tooth to break (the filling was done by Dr. T) so after being told the work would cost over $1000.00 and being a cash customer was told they couldn't give price break. So I acquired CareCredit which exists for patients who have high cost work done immediately so they can afford it. CareCredit offers plans of 24 mos, 36 mos and 48 mos for costs $1000.00 and over. The dentist would only allow me to do 6 mos payments so it would cost me about $185.00 per month. This is in no way affordable. My sister had dental work done on the same Care Credit and was allowed to choose her own terms (she was very unsatisfied with the results of her work and never returned again) I should have listened to her. This dentist is ridiculous and not accommodating at all for someone who wants your money. My daughter has been coming there since she has been 2 for checkups and after 16 years she will not be returning. I see how they are when major things need to be done they are only good for regular cleanings. Please if you can find a dentist who actually wants to help people do so. This is not the office for that. Not to mention the office staff is very rude and has no knowledge of how things work. I had to be called back twice because they had to ask the dentist about the billing. I do not recommend this dentist. My dad went here for an emergency a couple weeks ago. He was charged a ridiculous amount of money for X-rays that were not necessary. Then they told him he needed 3000.00 worth of work and wouldn't even give an antibiotic. So he went for 2 me opinion and they wouldn't even forward the X-rays they made him pay for. They still haven't sent them or returned a phone call. JUST AWFUL PLEASE AVOID 100%. I smiles on wise ave amazing place. Great staff and they are honest. My dad had work done and is now better after 800$. Please stay away from Northpoint dental they should be fined and put out of business!!!!!!!
