I went in to the Ellwood City office for a consultation on my wisdom teeth after not having them looked at for years when I had previously been told to get them removed. Dr. Singh went over the x-rays with me, and in no way made me feel guilty for neglecting them, something that I had feared would happen (some doctors are good at making you feel guilty for xyz). He was thorough, friendly, and explained the removal procedure in great detail which made me more comfortable. Due to COVID-19, the Ellwood City office was not going to be open in time for my procedure, which was today (6/11/2020). They called me to see if I wanted to go to a different location, and they helped me keep my scheduled appointment at the New Castle office. There, they asked me to wait in my car because the waiting room was still closed due to social distancing regulations. Every nurse and doctor I saw were decked out in PPE, which also made me more comfortable in terms of safety. The entire nurse staff was so kind. I had Dr. Shawn Marsh, who was equally as kind. I had told them I've never had any kind of procedure done, I've never been put to sleep for anything, etc., and the whole staff validated my feelings. He asked me if I had any questions before beginning, which also made me feel cared for and validated. As soon as the sedative medicines began kicking in and I started to feel anxious, I grabbed for one of the nurses' hands, who held mine and reassured me it would be okay. And I was out just like that lol. It was a smooth transition into the sedation, which was what I was worried about the most, and they made it so easy for me. I woke up to a nurse's voice asking how I felt, and since I was okay to move she walked me out to my ride. She explained to my ride everything I needed to know for recovery, as well as gave me a care package that included my prescriptions, extra gauze, two ice packs with a sleeve, and very detailed instructions for a smooth recovery. I felt sick when I got home, but I followed their directions in the pamphlet, and the nausea quickly passed. Right now, almost 12 hours after my procedure, I feel no pain that exceeds the amount of pain that my wisdom teeth were previously causing. I'm confident that the pain will be minimal. Both offices, Ellwood City and New Castle, treated me like more than a patient. They cared about me and my success through this process. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Samir Singh was my surgeon for getting my wisdom teeth removed, all 4 were extracted and Dr. Singh did an excellent job! He is so nice and comforting at the onset and he is a magician with an iv needle...I barely felt it. The surgery went very quickly and I felt great when I left. The entire staff there is very friendly and compassionate! I almost wish I had more wisdom teeth to remove because the experience was so great... Thank You Dr. Singh, your the best!
