Both of Dr. Mirkhah's parents stressed education. And Dr. Mirkhah knew at an early age that she wanted a career that involved working with people. In college, she volunteered in a dental clinic at the county hospital which exposed her to the underserved population and their needs with dental treatment. She also worked in a dental lab after college prior to her Master's program allowing her a one-of-a-kind behind the scene glimpse into what goes into making dentures, crowns, and retainers.
After she graduated from ASU, she attended Tulane University where she received her masters in molecular and cellular biology. From there she attended NYU Dental school followed by a 1-year general practice residency at the VA in New Jersey.
Dr. Mirkhah met her husband in college, and they have been married for ten years. They have two daughters, one in elementary school and one in preschool. The oldest is involved in soccer, ballet, and girl scouts. She is also learning a second language. The youngest involved in ballet and gymnastics. And they have two furry dog family members as well.

Jessicas love of dentistry began in 2005. She loves to see patient transformations and watch the enthusiasm of patients throughout their treatment. She has worked both clinically and administratively and has an extensive knowledge with treatment planning and working with dental insurance. She married her best friend in 2015 and together they have a blended family with five kids. In her free time she enjoys CrossFit, anything outdoors and is very active within her church.
Martha is a native Arizonan and has enjoyed practicing dental hygiene for 40 years and has worked in this practice since 2007. She has a passion for dental hygiene and her patients oral and physical health. Martha finds herself drawn to people who have dental fears /phobias and considers herself to be gentle but thorough with the dental cleanings she administers. She attended Arizona State University and received her dental hygiene degree from Phoenix College School of Dental Hygiene.
Tami moved to Arizona in 1974 from Germany. She met a dental hygienist at a career fair in high school and knew that dental hygiene would be the perfect career for her. She graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Tami is also licensed in anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She regularly attends continuing education classes to keep abreast of changes in the field.
Tami has a strong interest in nutrition and a healthy mouth/healthy body connection. After 36 years of practice, she continues to be inspired and encouraged by her patients. Working with Dr. Mirkhah has allowed the opportunity to incorporate new and exciting treatments for our patients in the dental hygiene department.
