Building on two generations of dental practitioners, Dr. Suber combines a creative, artistic vision with patient understanding at North Main Dental. His passion for others and desire to deliver high quality service to Upstate families led to the founding of North Main Dental. His assistant, Anne Marie Fisher, says that Dr. Suber goes above and beyond to make sure patients feel cared for and dont feel much of anything else.
A native of Spartanburg, Dr. Suber graduated from Dorman High School and Clemson University. He was an exchange student to the University of Newcastle in NSW, Australia, and he attended The Medical University of South Carolina Dental School. There he served as president of Delta Sigma Delta and vice president of his class for four years, excelling in clinical studies.
Dr. Suber is a past Presidentof the Greenville County Dental Society and has served as delegate from the Piedmont district to the SC Dental Association. Dr. Suber is also currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Greenville County Museum of Art. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Dental Association and offers his services at the Greenville Free Clinic.
When he is not exchanging stories with patients, you can find Dr. Suber making contemporary-style art and furniture for the North Main office, playing guitar, or going on adventures with his family. He feels beyond lucky to pursue a calling that provides enjoyment and an outlet for his enthusiastic service to others.

I have always been afraid of the dentist!!! I have been trying to find one where I can be relaxed and comfortable.....I finally found one here. The experience I had was like I was in a spa...so relaxed...so peaceful.from the music to the staff ...I can't thank them enough for helping me overcome my fear!! What a wonderful experience!

I've tried a few different offices since moving to the area almost 4 years ago. I can finally say, I have found my permanent dentist. I have had two visits now with Dr. McAbee and am very impressed with the personal relationships they build as well as making sure the patients health comes first. I feel very confident in being able to trust their work and their word from the time I walk in to the time I leave. Have you ever been relaxed in a dental office? You can here. It's like making new friends, having great general conversations and receiving the extra benefit of earning healthier teeth!

From making my appointment, to first walking in the very clean office I was very impressed. Taylor, works at the front and was very kind and courteous. Sherry cleaned my teeth, and oh my gosh when I say it is the best cleaning I have ever had, I mean it! I have never felt my teeth like this before! She was extremely thorough, And so very nice. I have a couple of heart issues which they went over with me to ensure everything was being done safely. Dr. Macabee was above and beyond with his expertise, he was also very thorough and answered all of my questions. As I said before I have a couple of heart issues and I am pregnant, he gave me some comfort about those issues as well on a personal level, as he has a friend that experienced something similar to me!! Teeth are "connected" to the heart, so this was reassuring and comforting. You can still he is a very genuine nice person, and a wonderful dentist! I am a very picky person, I am one of those people that walk in and look for dust on the ceilings etc. ha ha. This place was very impressive, I have found my home dentist now and I am excited for my future dental visits and will be bringing my whole family here and recommending it to all of my friends and family. The little personal touches they added on during my experience lowered my "dental office anxiety" to a very happy experience!!! Thank you North Main dental and your staff, you guys are Superior!

Cannot say enough about Dr. Suber, Dr. McAbee and Dyan! If you are considering a new Dentist or a switch like I did, go see them! They believe in prevention rather than immediately jumping into any dental work. Plus the entire staff is really nice, courteous of your time and overall great to deal with.

My mouth as hurting so bad that I went to a dentist who specializes in dentures. I was ready to have all my teeth pulled! He took a look and said that my teeth were in great shape but I'm a grinder! Dr Suber was who the other dentist said to call an make an appointment. I made the appointment in his parking lot that day! Dr Suber and his staff gave me a few things to do along with a mouth guard. I had cracked my mouth guard and went back to see about a fix or replacement. I had problems with one of the staff. I was quite upset. Dr Suber took care of my issue and had me come back in for a new impressions. The staff that treated me on the last two visits were spectacular and professional! If you are looking for a dentist that is all about less is more! Take care of what you have make some minor adjustments and you can be pain free like me! Dr Suber you rock! I'm am grateful for you and your staff!

I previously went to the West End location, but decided to check out the North Main location since it was slightly closer. While I still think Dr. Suber is excellent, I saw Dr. McAbee this time around. He and his staff are also excellent. Any concerns or questions I had, no matter how trivial, were addressed with care and patience. Also, the filling Dr. McAbee swapped from silver to white looks great!

Being new to the Greenville area I was not in a hurry to find a new dentist- until my crown became loose. After reading such positive reviews of North Main Dental and West End Dental, I believed this practice would be the best place for me, especially since they offer up to date services such as Cerec Same Day Crowns and CBCT 3D Imaging. I called and they were able to fit me in that very day. Chandra in the front office is so nice and welcoming. Dyan is so helpful and accommodating. She answered all of my questions and put my worried mind at ease. Dr. McAbee is so patient and explains everything he is doing, step by step. You don't have to lie there wondering what is about to happen next. They are very reassuring. I highly recommend this practice. I was so impressed, I scheduled my 6 month cleaning before I left.

Excellent "bedside" manner. It felt like my childhood friends were working on my teeth. But my favorite part was they weren't trying to nickel and dime me. Straight up told me, "we could root canal and crown it, but I think the tooth can be saved so let's put an $80 medicated filling in it and come back in a few months and we'll go from there." I just moved back to town, and found my dentist first try. I'll recommend them to all my friends.

I highly suggest using this dentist! Dr. Suber is fabulous! His entire staff is welcoming and make you feel at ease! My husband & I have been at both of his locations and enjoy coming here. I drive all the way from Spartanburg for my appointments. I've had several crowns and fillings with no pain and no issues. The hygienist Sherry is excellent as well!

Dr. Suber was GREAT!! Natalie was wonderful!! They were equally nice, laid back and very professional. They was hardly no wait time and their service was Swift and great. I can't say enough about the positive impression they left on me. The moment you walk into their office you are warmly greeted by his friendly office staff. Dr. Suber is the bomb, and Natalie is the dynamite that holds it all together!! The crown that they put on my tooth is the best one he and Natalie has ever made you can't tell the difference between it and my real teeth!! He said that it would be the best he has ever made. Him and Natalie went above and beyond and did even better than that!! I love West end dental and everyone that works there! Especially Dr. Suber and Natalie!!
