Dr. Tamie Ego completed her undergraduate studies from CSUF in Fresno, California, before attending dental school at UCLA in Los Angeles, graduating in 1990 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She continues to increase her knowledge of dentistry regularly through continuing education courses, and she has received advanced training in surgical implant placement and equilibration training. Dr. Ego is a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study.
Dr. Egos father, Shiro Ego, opened his dental practice in 1955 after graduating from UCSF. In 1990, after her own graduation, Dr. Ego immediately began working alongside him in Fresno and had the opportunity to learn from him and his many years of hands-on experience and knowledge prior to his retirement. She has expanded the practice to include implants and bone grafting procedures, as well as utilizing other technologies to give her patients better and more advanced options to fully restore their oral health. Her dynamic team makes coming to work and helping each patient accomplish their smile goals a joy.
I am very excited to be working with Dr. Ego and the incredible staff here at North Fresno Dental Care. Dr. Ego takes such pride in her work and pays attention to the smallest of details. I love being a part of seeing our patients smiles transform. When I am not at work I am a busy mom to my amazing son Chase and our German shepherd Nora.
I am tremendously happy and fortunate to be part of the amazing team at North Fresno Dental Care. I truly enjoy what I do, especially after seeing patients leave with more confidence because of their new smile! Working alongside Dr. Ego has been truly remarkable. Seeing how much she cares for our patients and her attention to the tiniest details reinforces my decision to work in the dental field.
I am blessed to be a part of the team at North Fresno Dental Care. I enjoy working alongside Dr. Ego, Liliana and Laura. As a team we are able to provide compassionate care to every patient. I admire Dr. Egos attention to detail and the respect patients have for her and her work. Life outside of work I enjoy being a wife and a mom. I enjoy baking, painting and playing games with my son, Andrew. We love visiting the beach and being outdoors.

I was looking for a new Dentist when I found North Fresno Dental Office on the internet Over my many years of going to the dentist I never received such great service. The entire staff made me feel welcome immediately.Dr Ego is very Knowledgeable and cares about her patient's dental care. I am learning so much about my dental options that other Dentist never told me about.I am so happy I found an awesome dentist with a great team.

I am so glad that Dr. Ego suggested to me to try the procedure of bite equilibration. I went ahead and had this done in two treatment visits. My bite is now positioned correctly, and I have noticed a significant reduction in my head and neck pain. I've lived with this pain for over 15 years, and I never thought it could have been caused by an incorrect bite. Thank you doctor for your help!

Dr. Ego and her staff are amazing and so friendly! Dr. Ego is very detailed in everything she does and she explains each step. I had a horrible pain from a broken wisdom tooth and she was able to get the tooth out in 20 minutes and I had very little pain afterwards. I highly recommend Dr. Ego.

Wanted to post an update since my first review was years ago. Dr Ego and her staff continue to offer the best dental care!! Her follow up work on my implant, and my filling and gum treatments have all been done with the utmost care and attention. I continue to appreciate how she takes the time to explain her treatment recommendations. Her work is outstanding and she and her staff makes the experience as gentle as possible. I would trust her for all my dental work. And her office is bright and clean and conveniently located right at Herndon and the 41. I highly recommend this office!

After decades of neglect, I needed to find a dentist before a big move overseas where dentistry isnt a priority. I decided on North Fresno Care based on their high reviews on their quality of care. After a deep clean, I got a bite alignment done which freed up my lower jaw. It relived pressure I didn't know had built up over time. I'd highly recommend them to anyone and bite alignment if you can swing it. No issues with insurance or hidden costs. Everything's up front and honest as to where your insurance starts and stops.

I highly recommend North Fresno Dental Care. I was searching for new care because I am pregnant and had a dental emergency. A friend recommended this office and Dr. Ego to me after telling her about my fear, anxiety and ptsd from previous dentist. I'm SOOO glad I listened to her. Everything about this office made me feel calm and at ease. The staff and theDr are the sweetest people. They really made me feel cared for. They addressed my pain and took care of it right then and there. I'm glad I finally found a caring dentist!

Dr. Ego and her staff are absolutely incredible! Words can not even begin to express my gratitude for the work that Dr. Ego and her team have done for my dental care needs. The kindness and care all of the staff offer is unlike anything I have ever experienced from a dental office. As someone that is anxious about dental work - she and her entire team have been patient and caring beyond words! Dr. Ego and her team take time to explain things in great detail and are always available to answer any questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Ego and her team for your dental care needs! They are all around wonderful!!

I've always been super anxious about going to a dentist and it's been YEARS since I've gone to one. I'm so happy Laura recommended this to dentist office to me, she's amazing! Dr. Tamie Ego and the entire staff at North Fresno Dental Care make it easy for me to relax and actually have a good experience at the dentist. Everyone is so friendly and they thoroughly explain the process.

Dr. Ego and her team are the most welcoming medical team I have ever met. The team at North Fresno Dental Care put patient comfort and wellbeing first. Going to the dentist can sometimes be an anxious experience, but with this team that is one less worry. I'm so happy I found this Dental Care facility, and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of dental care, especially if the thought of going to the dentist scares you.

I couldn't imagine letting another dentist besides Dr. Tamie Ego do all the work that my teeth have required over the years--bite adjustments, teeth grinding, cavities, crowns, cosmetic improvements--you name it! And she does it all with the finest, most capable hands and sharp mind on earth! Her staff, too, is incredibly warm and will stop at nothing to make sure I feel relaxed and comfortable, even with a blanket on cold days. I've actually fallen asleep in Dr. Ego's dental chair. So I've always looked forward to my next dentist trips. Thank you Dr. Tamie and Staff!

Dr. Tamie Ego is an amazing dentist, best one I've ever had in my life. I used to hate going to the dentist because I've had bad experiences in the past. What I love about Dr. Tamie Ego is how gentle she is. Most importantly she does a courtesy call to check on you after any procedures. You really don't find that anymore. Dr Tamie Ego and staff have made this experience easy, from the time you check in to the time you leave. Laura works front office she is very sweet, kind and very helpful. Liliana is great at coaching. She helps me get through a lot of the procedure I've had so far. I'm not the ideal patient but she is patient. I would recommend anybody to Dr. Tamie Ego at North Fresno Dental!

I love the office! It's very professional and inviting. All of the staff are super easy to talk to, they explain everything very well and take time to listen to what you as a patient want. I had a bad experience at my previous dentist so I can't even recall when I last went. Then my mother recommended this office and I'm so glad she did. I'm not afraid to go anymore, and they always make sure you feel no pain. Not to mention how they make sure to check on you after you leave. It really shows how much they care about your health and well-being. I cant recommend them enough!

I have been to many dentists in my life. This is one of the best ever. Everyone is so friendly. Everything is explained in great detail so you know what to expect. I have never had a Dr. Call to see how I was doing . I give them a 10+ rating.

I can't even begin to say how amazing this dentist is, they take the time to make sure your treatment goal is meant and succeeded beyond expectations. Huge shoutout to Doc, Laura, Devin, Lily for all the care I have received. I may have started my dental treatment kinda late in the game but i'm glad I have found you guys! Seriously Thank you!!!

This is the most nicest dental office ever!! Everyone was so Friendly and nice. I came into the office on a Monday because my tooth was cracked , bothering me so much and had the right side of my face swollen. Everyone that helped me made it so easy and made sure I was very comfortable. Dr. Was amazing she gave me all of my options and made sure that I was well taken care of and in no pain while pulling my tooth out. First time going to this office but it won't be my last. Thanks so much!!
