Dr. Betzy Lara- Perdue graduated from The University of Texas Health Science and Center in San Antonio in 2000. She worked for Public Health in San Antonio for 2 years providing general dentistry procedures to medically compromised patients before moving to Houston, Texas in 2002. She has continued to advance her knowledge of dentistry through continued education courses in specialized areas of dentistry, attendance at dental seminars, and through dental journals. Dr. Lara-Perdue enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry including restorative, fixed prosthodontics, oral surgery, simple endodontics, and implant restorations. Dr. Lara-Perdue strives to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all family members and she is committed to embrace the latest procedures in dental technology. As a dentist, her main goal is to provide patient education and to help restore her patients natural teeth. Dr. Lara-Perdue cares for all her patients, and is always honest with them about their treatments.
Dr. Lara-Perdue has been married for 15 years, and is the mother of 10-year-old twins. Outside the office, her husband, children, and dogs keep her busy. They enjoy exercising outdoors and playing together.
Sarah joined our practice in August 2014. She has 13 years of office management experience and keeps the day-to-day operations of our practice running smoothly, implementing new systems to provide a better experience for our patients. She loves working with our talented, compassionate dental professionals here at North Forest Family Dental Care and building lasting relationships with our patients. Sarah has a 10-year-old son named Colin and a 3-year-old pitbull named Mila. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and being outdoors biking, hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
Yessenia graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown and has been working in dentistry for 18 years. She loves getting to know our patients and helping them understand their benefits and get through their fears of the dentist. Because she is bilingual, she is able to help more of our patients understand their diagnoses and treatment plans, and she reminds patients when they are due for visits.
Chance graduated from Willis High School, attended Houston Dental Assisting School, and has been with our practice since February 2019! He is a great team player and helps everyone out, and he loves that we treat each other like family! Chance lives with two dogs and one cat, and he loves to spend as much time as he can on the water whether it is the beach or lake!

As someone with dentist phobia, I just had to write a review for this dental practice! I let the dental hygienist, Edith, and Dr. McBarnet know that I was extremely nervous and they did an excellent job at relaxing me and reassuring me every step of the way; from the x rays to the cleaning --so much so that I told them I wanted to go ahead and do the filling the very same day I visited for the first time! They even offered me a blanket when I said I was freezing! They are so compassionate and wonderful people and professionals! If you're looking for a dentist, look no further! This is your place!! (They also have laughing gas for us nervous people out there who can't ever schedule any dental procedures due to anxiety!!) give them a call! They'll take good care of you!

I managed to persuade my husband; who has a serious phobia of dentists, stemming from a bad experience decades ago, to visit a dentist as he was having trouble with his teeth. He picked 'these people' randomly 2 years ago because it was close to his work. Not sure the name of the dentist but he ridiculed my husband on the state of his teeth and embarrassed him to the point that he now refuses to see any dentist again. How dare they !!! What kind of 'person' does that? let alone a 'professional !!???

I love North Forest. I have been coming here since my daughter was 6mths and she is now 8. I have never had an issues with any of the staff and the place is always clean.

I had a terrible experience at North forest Dental. I walked in for a cleaning at 10 am and I woke up in ER at St Luke's Hospital due an overdose on anesthesia. My face was swelling I got purple bruces after that. They never call my family to let them know what happened to me, my car was sitting in the parking lot for 2 days I too of that charged me and my insurance $1200 for the cleaning. They are all about the money horrible experience

Have always had excellent care. Will not go anywhere else. Very professional and have never had any problems. Would highly recommend to anyone. I now bring my grandson. Dr. Perdue is wonderful with kiddos as well.
