My name is Dr. Kim Trieu, and I teach at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. As an affiliate faculty member, I train new dentists in developing personalize and ethical patient care. You will see my passion for teaching here at North Everett Family Dental, as I take time to educate and empower each patient in their dental health.

My philosophy in dentistry is focused on patients' comfort through gentle, compassionate, and individualized care. This philosophy is coupled with advanced digital technology to help patients achieve their dental goals in a single visit.About 15% of dentists across the country are CEREC dentists, and I am proud to be one of them.

I was raised in Mukilteo and completed my Biology degree at the University of Washington.I then pursued my dental degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. After my doctoral studies, I entered in a Residency Program with HealthPoint community health to further my training. After residency, I joined a practice focused on cosmetic dentistry in the Greater Seattle for four years. In 2019, I was invited by Dr. Shen to join her in private practice here at North Everett Family Dental, and I am now leading the office. In addition to practicing, and teaching, I enjoy serving the community through volunteering through mobile vans and the community clinic. As an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Snohomish County Dental Society as well as the King County Dental Association, I have a wide network of dentist that I coordinate with to help my patients achieve personalized and effective care.I am also extremely active in Dental Advocacy, helping organize and advocate for the patients and the profession at both the local and national level. I am is also part of three study clubs and I am an elected delegate for the county society representing the voices of dental professionals.

When I am not practicing or teaching dentistry, I spend time with my husband and five children (Peter, Andrew, Christopher, Faustina, and Clare). My husband grew up on Hoyt Avenue and attended Whittier Elementary. If you dont see me at the practice or at the University of Washington, you can find my family and I at the Everett Children's Museum; reading in the local libraries, or playing outdoors at the parks.

Dr. Charmaine Bui is a Washington native born and raised in Lynnwood. She attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate studies where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She soon went on to receive her dental degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Bui enjoys learning and embraces the ideology of lifetime learning though continuing education and is always happy to share what she has learned to others.

Dr. Bui priorities her patients comfort while providing them with excellent patient-centered dental care. She values building meaningful relationships, educating, and working with her patients on how to best take care of them. A persons smile is very important, and Dr. Bui is dedicated to helping her patients maintain their smile!

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bui enjoys finding new cuisines to try with family and friends. And when not out and about, enjoys relaxing at home playing video games, drinking bubble tea, and obsessing over Hamilton!

Before joining the team here at North Everett Family Dental in July 2020, I worked for four years in the fertility industry as an office manager. Prior to that, I had a decade-long career in retail and hospitality management working mostly in the downtown Seattle area. I am very passionate about the positive impact compassionate dental care can have on a persons life, as I had many dental issues and underwent countless procedures as a child and teenager to fix my smile As someone whos spent hundreds of hours in the exam room chair, I empathize with dental fears and what an obstacle it can be for many to address their dental care needs! When I am not at work, I am a busy wife and mother of an incredibly active 2-year-old boy. My family and I enjoy the beach, gardening, reading together, and playing choo-choo (toy trains).

Dr. Trieu is literally the best dentist I've been to. She cares so much about my dental hygiene and always gives me tips for how to better care for myself. She has a very gentle touch and the times shes had to drill on my teeth has always made sure I was comfortable and pain free.

Wow! A BIG THANK YOU to Dr Trieu and her great team. Finally found a new dentist who is really good and very patient and is easy to have a laugh. So refreshing! Also posted a picture of the tooth picks I've used for at least 15 years. The good Doctor had never heard of these so I wanted to share one of the tools I use to keep my teeth and gums in good shape.

I just moved to everett last year, after some research of many dentists in the area, I picked this one. I'm very happy with the care, I asked if I could change the amount of anesthetic for the procedure because I'm sensitive and didn't want to be numb for the rest of the day and they were completely willing to accommodate me, also the dentist walked me thorough everything step by step as she was doing the work, at every point showed concern for my comfort.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming... I love their joke board at the front desk. The dentist is kind and gentle, and it's such a nicer feeling being in a small office where I know I will be take care of. I had a chipped tooth fixed and the color match was absolutely spot on. And she was able to squeeze that work in on the spot, which meant one less return trip! So happy I am here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Trieu for over 10 years! She was my dentist when she was in Burien and am so glad that she has practice now in Everett! It's great to have a local, neighborhood dentist that I feel like I can "trust". She take time to educate me, let me know my options and respect my decision. It also makes me feel really good to know that Dr. Trieu also teaches at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and she is such an experienced dentist. Thank you for taking great care of me and my family over the years. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff there.

I have been to many dentists over they years and Kim is my favorite! Her staff is so incredibly friendly and my dental hygienist, Maggie, makes me feel so at ease and does a great job of getting to know me. She even remembers parts of my life even though I only see a few times a year. I highly recommend Kim and her amazing team!

I have been a patient less than a year but love all the team here! They are attentive, caring and professional. Dr. Trieu suggested I try "Allday mouth spray" for my dry mouth and I love it. It works really well for 4-6 hours but I can still feel the effects of it moistening my mouth up to 10 hours out. It isn't as good as the 4-6 hr period but certainly not like the tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth and teeth like usual. I certainly hope they keep this product on the market! and thank you Dr. Trieu for recommending I try it. Both the doctors are keepers by the way. Never had a dental office where I felt so comfortable in all my 76 years!

I absolutely love Dr. Trieu! Her staff have always been so kind to my family and I. We all go see her and we currently have two children, one 14 year old and one 2 year old. Dr. Trieu is great at working with our youngest and making her excited about being there. They let our daughter (youngest) watch our oldest get his teeth done so she is not so scared and now likes to just jump in the chair and wait for her turn! Dr. Trieu has been great to work with when it came to getting a plan put together for our son who needed lots of different things done to his teeth. Some things he wanted were necessary and some were to just make him more confident in his smile. She always listened not only to my concerns and needs but my sons also. We have a solid plan put together that we all are happy with and the referrals she has given us to get the specialized work done have been great and also a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend North Everett Family Dental to anyone, specially if you are looking for someone that can and understands kids and will listen to you this is the place to go!

I work here and it is one of the best jobs I have ever had. Dr.Trieu is one of the most caring people. She works so hard to make sure that everyone gets what they want and are provided with the best care along with being honest when she thinks someone might do better at a different office. She treats each person as a person and not a number. We always want to make sure that everyone feels welcomed and safe here. I love working here and would recommend North Everett Family Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist office. We hope to see you soon!

Scheduled an eval. The office was beautiful and has lots of gadgets. The Dr was knowledgeable and kind and did a good job. Went in for a cleaning and then the next day went in for a filling paid $150 in advance. Then I got a bill 1 month later of $114 with no explaination just 2 days to pay it. This did not match my explaination of benefits. Called the office and spoke to the front desk who couldn't figure out the bill passed me to someone else who didn't know either. Was told the Dr would call me back 3 days later nothing. Called the office back and was told again I would get a call back. The Dr called me back and reassured me this was not how they operated and removed the bill. Then go back for my next apt. Was told that it was the hour prior even though my apt card said 9. When I asked for my own medical records to be emailed to me I was told I have to sign a release for my own records to be released to me. A lot of poor service. I have found a new dentist

Had Dr. Angela and Maggie (Hygienist) as my dental team for a few years while living and working in Everett. Friendly office, gentle teeth cleaning and provided great consultation and progressive preventative actions for my teeth. Dr. Angela referred me to a great surgeon when I had to have my wisdom teeth out. She will be moving on to teaching at UW soon, and her replacement Dr. Kim did a wonderful job when I was in last time, she gave me some really great preventative actions that saved me from having to get a crown on my tooth right away, really knows her dental knowledge and is a good fit to take over this practice! Thanks for all you do North Everett Family Dental!

New to the area and needing a dentist I did a Google search and found Dr. Johnson , who was local and had been rated 5 stars online. I called and made my appointment , they were able to work with me and my busty schedule to fit me in. While at my appointment I experienced professional care and a friendly environment, making my visit quite enjoyable. The reception staff made me feel like family, and the doc had me smiling when not saying aaaah. He also explained each procedure and let me know my options regarding future care and maintenance. The dental work I recieved was exceptional and practically painless. The practice was clean and easy to find and after having been to North Everett Dental , it is easy to see why they hold a five star rating- they are great!!!
