The founder of North Easton Dental Associates, Dr. Sheldon Yunes, started our family dental practice in North Easton nearly half a century ago. To this day, he continues to see his devout patients and offer sage advice cultivated through years of clinical experience.
The next generation of North Easton Dental Associates, Dr. Daniel DiMatteo and Dr. Scott Yunes have largely taken over day-to-day operations. Each dentist brings unique specialties to the practice. Dr. Sheldon Yunes has over 40 years of first-hand dental experience including his time as a Dental Consultant at Cardinal Cushing General Hospital in Brockton.He has also been recognized by top educational institutions like Tufts University where he currently serves as a clinical instructor in the Operative and Prosthetics Department as well as Harvard Dental School where he bore the title of Associate Professor. Dr. Daniel DiMatteo received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he specialized in restorative and crown and bridge procedures. Dr. Scott Yunes also received his DMD degree from Tufts and makes an effort to give back to the community by offering basic dental care to veterans free of charge on Smile Day and providing complimentary oral cancer screenings at Fenway Park on Tooth Day.
To date, Dr. Yunes has been practicing in North Easton, Massachusetts for about 37 years. He has been a dental consultant staff member at Cardinal Cushing General Hospital, Dental Advisor at Prudential Insurance, Associate Professor at Harvard Dental School, and an clinical instructor in the operative and prosthetics department at Tufts University Dental School in Boston.
Dr. Yunes is also a member of the American Dental Society and recently received a prestigious 36 year pin. He is also an Emeritus in the Academy of General Dentistry where he received a fellowship (F.A.G.D.). Dr. Yunes also belongs to the South Shore Dental Society.
Dr. Daniel DiMatteoreceived his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010. While at Tufts Dental, hereceived advanced training in restorative procedures, and he was chosen to participate in the teachers assistant program, where he taught students in both classroom and clinical settings. Dan was awarded the Trilling Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding moral and ethical character.
Dan is an automobile enthusiast and races his own car in a form of motorsport called autocross. He also attends various high performance driving schools at regional racetracks. When he isnt working on his car, he is an avid mountain biker who can frequently be found at Borderland State Park. Recently married, Dan lives with his wife in Milton.

I have been a patient here for almost 20 years, since when it was just Dr. Yunes Sr. I dont have any complaints on the actual services I was provided, that was always great. But since they changed the name, things have been different on the customer service side. First I've always been a good paying customer, always paid when asked and one day, they made me feel like I was a dead beat customer, in front of people in the waiting area. I was able to talk to Dr. Demattio and was able to move passed that. But recently it was the last straw, after all these years of services and referring many many people there, people whom paid a lot of money to them. They charged me for a "breaking appointment" although I know it's business but I would think a warning first would of been owed after being a loyal customer. So I've decided to move on and yes I gladly paid them the $49.65 breaking fee. Good luck in treating your loyal customers this way.

I went there for Zoom whitening. Chelsea is amazing. Chelsea is professional, explains everything, excellent personality. Couldn't be happier. The office staff is great.

Dr Yunis and his staff are excellent! I have been going here over 30 years and I never feel pressured to do more than needed as well the work they do is superior. Jackie was awesome last month when cleaning my teeth and Cindy has always been kind and courteous with me. They are all very professional and friendly staff! Warmest regards, Glenn Pierce

It is more like family then anything else. The level of service is unwavering! My wife, daughter and I just frankly have a good time when we visit. I know that sounds a bit odd, but I have been going here for over 20 years. And they use THE most current technology.

From the moment you enter the offices, from the office staff, to the dental assistants, dentists and everyone you meet - genuinely welcoming, caring and engaged professionals - and it's not an 'act' - they are just incredibly great people .... every one of them. First checkup and cleaning since Covid yesterday (11/2). Saw my favorite (and only one I'll see) hygienist Joyner as usual...he is wonderful. He knows I have a fear of all things dentist-related, and does a great job while being incredibly gentle. Post-cleaning check by Dr. D, who is as always, warm AND extremely capable. The office staff is also well-organized and supremely helpful. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have been patients for almost 30 years now. The culture of the office is always a perfect combination of fun, caring and professionalism. It is a full service practice offering general, pediatric, preventive, periodontal and surgical services. The front desk is always alert, helpful and flexible for appointments. Dr. Yunes is especially proud (and he should be) to have his son join the practice as the newest associate, along with Dr. Dimateo (Hope i spelled that right). The Dental Hygiene and assistant staff are great. Of special note are Anthony and Joiner. I would not think of going anywhere else. WP Hi it is me again, updating my review of NEDA. I want to change nothing of the review above but to add that their commitment to a safe environment In this COVID era is outstanding. As a former public health provider I am very familiar with infection control protocols and have been consistently impressed by a number of things. 1. The seriousness of their approach. 2 the flexibility of the practice to continue to improve their systems as the technology allows (e.g. the high volume suction device) and 3 their willingness to take the patients through this ever changing situation and make them comfortable in their environment. Wouldn't go anywhere else but NEDA!! My family and my husbands parents all go to NEDA they are the best, we've been going for atleast 35 years!! Cindy knows all about insurance and always advises perfectly. Always a pleasure to see Shelley Yunes , he examined my teeth just recently and all is well. Don't trust any other dental office, Dr. D is the best thank you for all you do!!
