Anahid Anna Acopian, D.M.D is a licensed California dentist at North Brand Dental Glendale CA. Dr. Anna graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors degree in Micro Biology and Molecular Genetics, and from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. In addition, she received her postdoctoral degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Southern California. Dr. Anna was a Chief resident while at the University of Southern California concentrating in both Cosmetic and Pediatric dentistry. Dr. Acopian was also a faculty member at USC and director of Queens Care Clinic. Before establishing her private practice in Glendale, California, she was practicing in Moorpark, California beside her husband in a private practice for the last 15 years.
Dr. Anna is committed to providing the gentlest of care to her patients and loves educating them about non- invasive, and preventive dental treatments. Her certifications in Invisalign, fast braces, and implant dentistry have allowed her to help her patients improve their dental health. She also provides the newest technologies and standards of care to all her patients.
Dr. Anna also likes to ensure she stays ahead of the curve by taking continuing education courses in a range of dental topics. Her hours of education far exceed the minimum required allowing her to be the best dentist she possibly can be for those she treats and cares for the most. Aside from working, Dr. Anna enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, and biking, and traveling to new places with her husband, three young kids, and family dog Maggie.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shanklin for 40 years. The staff, along with Dr. Agopian and Dr. Ghadimi are awesome. There are many dental offices closer to my home, but why leave the best when you can experience these wonderful people.

I would highly recommend North Brand Dental for your dental needs. Dr. Acopian and her team are very professional regarding patient care. Minimum waiting time, professional front desk with a caring doctor and supper clean office. Dr. Acopian is the best!

Great staff! Very friendly and welcoming. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Shanklin for more than 20 years. He really is one of a kind dentist! Their office was impeccable. The dental hygienist was very gentle and walks you through every step of the dental cleaning process.

Dr Shanklin is the best ! So kind and ethical . I've been a patient for many Years and now that I live 300 miles away I still make the trip because he is with every mile . I love him and his superior front desk person Patty too

Just moved here didn't have a clue where to go for an extraction saw this place had 5 stars so I decided to go ahead , I was so pleased with how things went and how easy the staff made everything feel ; they also had a sense of urgency for getting me treated which felt reassuring that I chose the right place , will be referring anyone who asks to this spot!

I love this place!! 4 generations of my family have been going here. Dr. Shanklin makes you feel like an important patient every time you visit. It's a smaller office, clean and so professional. The entire staff is friendly. Keep up the good work North Brand Dental!!

The staff is very helpful and very friendly!! The Office Manager Bridget was extremely helpful with going over my dental treatments and my insurance costs. They were able to get me in on short notice which was a huge plus for me!!

They we're very helpful with explaining my insurance benefits and going over all my treatment with me. They were so professional and made you want to come back for your dental work. We all know how much we all really like going to the dentist, but I can't wait to go back.

I have been seeing Mr. Shanklin before I was a teenager and am 54 now. He is unique in how he deals with his patients. I had a tooth that was giving me pain. I went to a different dentist in Burbank. They said I had a lot of teeth that needed several root canals and so on. I couldn't believe it. All that trouble and no pain. So I decided to go to back to my dentist Dr. Shanklin. I told him what I was told by the other dentist. He probed around and found I had a cracked tooth and said, it needed a crown. I mentioned all the other work. He said it sounds like they are trying to a run a bill. Then he said how was my pain in all the other areas? I told him, fine. He said if they start to give me grief then come in. Otherwise don't worry about the other prognosis. So this gave me great relief and it's worth the 5 hour drive from Az. To Cali. To get an honest evaluation and great service and concern from his staff. Keep it up. Thank you all Ron and Family .

The staff was most attentive at every stage of my visit. I heard of the clinic through a friend. I've been through a bad experience with another dentist a few years back. Because of that I have been apprehensive about going to the dentist. Once I called North Grand Central they were very professional and caring. I had to postpone my first visit because of work. They were most understanding and accommodating. Once I got to the office yesterday I was accepted with open arms and great service. I have a few more treatments to go. The doctor there is very kind and attentive towards my concerns. I have another appointment next month and I'm most excited about visiting North Brand Dental again! I recommend North Brand Dental to everyone and anyone who prefers a better dentist.
