Not all patients who have wisdom teeth extractions from our oral surgeons are experiencing symptoms. Well often recommend removing wisdom teeth before they become a problem or if they are erupting or moving in a way that can damage other teeth or develop an infection.

Oral surgeons represent the highest trained clinicians in the dental field. With both medical and dental training, were equipped to provide treatment for complex cases and can handle any medical situations that may arise. This is especially important for wisdom teeth extractions. Though a routine procedure for our oral surgeons at our Amesbury, MA facility, we still like to inform teens, parents, and adult patients that were the best-qualified doctors to complete this surgery. Our training and experience can better ensure your comfort and safety during surgery and a quick return to optimal health and function.

I have been to the office several times and have always had the best of care. Dr. Krause was amazing not only in what he did but also in his care and working with my immense anxiety. I was sedated( what a great anesthesiologist) for 2 procedures however the last one I was awake, he took his time and made sure I was comfortable. His nurse is great and even held my hand while I was getting the numbing shot. I have had a crazy amount of trouble with my insurance company and the staff ha helped me more than they know, and been patient and understanding even when I got crabby. On top of this, the office decoration is pretty cool. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of one woman answering the phones, she is dismissive and rude, She told me that my gums weren't healing over an implant in less than a week, didn't answer my questions, that I didn't need to come back to them and it was now on my dentist... even after I said thank you, she hung up the phone without a word. This isn't a one time thing with her, I have spoken to her several times and each time I am frustrated. I hate that there are such great people in the Amesbury office, from billing to amazing dr and nurse and everyone in between and then a not so friendly prison answering the phone. Thank you Dr Krause and staff.

I would not return to this office. The surgeon may be very good at what he does, but I never got the chance to find out. The desk staff are dishonest and rude. I waited a month and a half for an appointment for them to reschedule my appointment and tell me I had agreed to it. I scheduled an appointment and got multiple email and text reminders, including three days before the appointment. The day before I received a different email and text reminder that my appointment was in a few hours. When I called to ask the office someone said I had changed my appointment which I did not. I never agreed to change it and could not go that day as sedation requires nothing to eat and drink 8 hrs prior to the procedure. They said they no longer had my appointment available and couldn't help me. The staff here were incredibly unprofessional. I dealt with the pain of a broken molar for 4 months while I waited for this office to help me. I had even called while waiting for my appointment in pain and they told me they couldn't prescribe any antibiotics for me. Don't waste your time here.

I came to North Boston Oral and Facial Surgery on January 18 of this year (2022) to have roots removed from my gums. The level of professionalism was top of the line, highest standard. The first person I encounter was the Dr's assistant Debra. She immediately made me feel comfortable and safe. She explained everything so that I knew what was going to happen. Whe Dr. Blaeser came in He explained to me what he was going to do during the procedure. Both Dr. Blaeser and Debra were friendly and provided an atmosphere of safety and comfort. Professional, helpful, informative and friendly. I will come back and I will encourage others to come here. Skip Mullin

This was my first experience with North Boston Oral Surgery and I am very impressed. All of the staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. Dr Kraus and his nurse Jamie made me feel very comfortable and assured on the day of my surgery. All went very well. It was my first painless dental procedure. The followup from the office after my procedure was excellent. I would recommend them without reservation.

Dr Kruse and the staff made the wisdom teeth extraction process a safe and easier process than both my son and I expected. We were very satisfied with the professionalism and COVID precautions taken at this office. I highly recommend North Boston Oral and Facial Surgery.

All of the staff here are great. My daughter went to get her wisdom teeth out. They have been amazing. They answered every question. They gave us aftercare instructions along with some supplies after the appointment. The professionalism and efficiency of this office is comforting. Huge shout out to Jamie who cared for my daughter during the procedure!

Both my daughters have received excellent care at North Boston Oral and Facial Surgery. My teen needed a bone graft (early 2021) and my little one just had a permanent tooth removed. Dr. Kraus coordinated with the girls' dentist and orthodontist, establishing a long term plan where needed. He was very thorough and took the time to explain the whys & hows of what needed to be done. Both girls had Chris as their nurse anesthetist, they loved him. My youngest was thrilled to be sedated via a mask rather than an IV. After the tooth was pulled, Chris carried her to us in his arms as if she were his own. It's a little bit upsetting to see ones child sedated. Chris was good to me, explaining that what I was seeing was normal and she was just dreaming. The office & nurse staff are wonderful. Finally, the Marvel decor is well... something to marvel at!

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything from the safety I felt walking in the door with my scared little boy who needed emergency oral surgery (age 4), to the most amazing, kindest and friendliest staff who made us feel confident and secure that we were in the best of hands! Surgery went amazingly smoothly and quickly and we felt completely confident leaving, with the nicest and most thorough staff who made sure we had all our questions answered, and had a whole bag of "just in case" items for my little boy who had just come out from anesthesia. I 100% would recommend this practice to anyone in need of such services! They were amazing from start to finish!

I have had only good experiences at North Boston in preparation of getting an implant. Yesterday I went in for the implant and was so glad to have Sancha as the surgeons assistant. She exudes confidence which made me feel very comfortable. She is very nice and explained exactly what was going to happen, answered any questions I had and is just a pleasant person. Thank you Sancha!

I always wondered why I start out by visiting my dentist and then I get referred to an oral surgeon. In the past year I've needed two different tooth extractions and boy am I glad I chose North Boston Oral. They were close to home so I checked out their office last year. I was immediately impressed with the newness, cleanliness, professionalism and the latest and greatest equipment. Both surgeries were just perfect and I'd never want to go anywhere else. Dr Kraus and his team are efficient and I was always made to feel comfortable and welcome. Honestly, every expectation about my experience here was exceeded and removed some of the fears I have regarding dental work. A++++ As an added bonus, they have a one-of-kind decor which you'll see when you arrive. It's awesome

My family members have been going here for years and we had zero complaints until yesterday when it was my turn to have my wisdom teeth out. I am 20 years old and was very nervous considering I had to be there alone, I was hoping the staff would give me some comfort but I had the opposite experience. When sitting in the chair the surgeon proceeded to ask me what I was getting done because she was not aware herself. Immediately I started to panic and absolutely did not want to have her do my procedure when she did not even know what it was to begin with. She continued to reiterate that she was not joking and actually didnt know what she had to do. The rest of my staff understood my fear and interrupted her to try to make me feel comfortable, which I appreciated because I wanted to leave considering. The women then went outside and was extremely rude to my mom because my mom had left briefly to get a coffee before the procedure even began. I was not told how to take care of myself after and was only given a bottle of 'sockit gel' and a paper explaining the food I can eat. I was told I would have follow up calls from them which I never received and the women in charge of me was extremely rude and I would not recommend here specifically because of her. It is too bad that the entire business has to deal with poor reports due to one staff member.
